Spray heads

A spray head adapted for connection to a supply of fluid. The head includes a body to receive the supply of fluid and a number of conical mixing volumes, in fluid connection with the body and supply of fluid, each conical mixing volume having an outlet. Each conical mixing volume includes at least one first inlet for a flow of fluid into the conical mixing volume at an angle to a conical axis thereof, and at least one second inlet for a flow of fluid into the conical mixing volume substantially parallel to the conical axis. There is a valve disposed upstream of the conical mixing volumes, the valve adapted to divide and vary the supply of fluid flow between the at least one first inlet and the at least one second inlet, which in turn varies the output of the fluid from the outlet of the conical mixing volumes.

LAWN OR GARDEN MAINTENANCE DEVICE AND RELATED SYSTEM
20230036580 · 2023-02-02 ·

A lawn maintenance device that is calibrated in the field by a user through a mobile software app to irrigate and/or fertigate one or more arbitrary geometrical areas defined by the user. The device includes a motorized rotary drive mechanism for controlling the rotational angle of a pivotable nozzle and a flow control valve for controlling water jet throw distance. At least one container is integrated into the device for dispensing fertilizer, herbicide and other such concentrated lawn or garden solutions. The device communicates with and is controlled by a web server which dynamically computes a watering path and triggers the device to commence irrigation over the computed path based on prevailing local environmental conditions and/or user settings.

Valve control system and method

A sprayer control system includes a plurality of smart nozzles each having at least one control valve with a valve operator, an electronic control unit for the valve operator, and one or more spray nozzles. The at least one control valve and the ECU control a flow rate of liquid agricultural product through the nozzles. A duty cycle modulator is in communication with the ECU and generates an applied duty cycle for the at least one control valve. The duty cycle modulator includes a specified duty cycle input having a specified duty cycle and a pressure monitor associated with the at least one control valve. A pressure comparator compares the valve pressure determined with the pressure monitor with a system pressure and generates a pressure error. An applied duty cycle generator generates the applied duty cycle based on the specified duty cycle modified by the pressure error.

Axial fluid spray nozzle with vent valve

A spray nozzle comprising: a body comprising a duct, a seat arranged at the first end, and including an opening forming an inlet, a guide comprising a tubular jacket and a retaining member, the retaining member retaining the jacket in the duct, a plug mounted to slide axially in the channel of the jacket, the plug being pushed back against the opening by a spring, and in abutment against the bottom of the jacket, the guide comprising a radial vent, which comprises a vent channel isolated from the flow of fluid and connecting the inside of the guide jacket to a bore formed in the body of the spray nozzle.

Fluid cartridge for a plural component sprayer

A fluid cartridge for a plural component sprayer is configured to receive first and second component materials and purge air from the sprayer and provide the first and second component materials and purge air to a mix chamber for spraying. The fluid cartridge includes a cartridge body, material flowpaths extending from a second end to a cartridge bore, and a purge path extending from the second end to the cartridge bore. Fluid checks are disposed in the material flowpaths and purge path to prevent backflow out of the fluid cartridge. Side seals are disposed in the material paths and are pre-loaded to extend into the cartridge bore and engage a mix chamber within the cartridge bore.

Water outlet device with water stop and flow rate control

A water outlet device with water stop and flow rate control comprises a body, a water stop assembly, and a flow rate control assembly. The body comprises a water outflow passage. The flow rate control assembly and the water stop assembly are disposed on the body, first ends of the water stop assembly and the flow rate control assembly are respectively disposed in the water outflow passage, and second ends of the water stop assembly and the flow rate control assembly are exposed out of the body to respectively define a water stop operation end and a flow rate control end. The water stop assembly comprises a first shaft that is operatively connected to the water stop operation end. The flow rate control assembly comprises a second shaft that is operatively connected to the flow rate control end.

Reduced precipitation rate nozzle

A nozzle is provided having a low precipitation rate and uniform fluid distribution to a desired arcuate span of coverage. The nozzle has an inflow port having a shape corresponding to the desired arc of coverage and a size for effecting a low precipitation rate. The nozzle also has a deflector surface with a water distribution profile including ribs for subdividing the fluid into multiple sets of fluid streams. There are at least two fluid streams for distant and close-in irrigation to provide relatively uniform distribution and coverage. The nozzle may be a unitary, one-piece, molded nozzle body including a mounting portion, an inflow port, and a deflector portion.

Adjustable flow nozzle system

Various embodiments for an adjustable flow nozzle system having a manifold with a plurality of adjustable flow nozzles in which the flow rate of each adjustable flow nozzle may be individually adjusted are described herein.

IRRIGATION SPRINKLER
