Modular spray cap
A spray cap (20; 300; 400; 600) for a spray can (22) has a body comprising: a sidewall (140) having a lower portion for mounting to a body of the spray can; and a button (36). The button has: an upper surface (164) for user engagement; a downwardly projecting sleeve (38) for receiving an outlet stem (240) of the can; and a forwardly-open compartment (42). An insert (34; 302) is within the compartment. A nozzle member (32) is mounted across the compartment to contain the insert within the compartment.
NOZZLE ARRANGEMENT AND DISPENSING HEAD
A nozzle arrangement for the preferably fan-like atomization of a fluid, particularly oil, a dispensing head with such a nozzle arrangement, and the use of such a nozzle arrangement for the particularly fan-like atomization of a fluid, particularly of an oil, is proposed, wherein a channel of the nozzle arrangement has a first channel portion and a second channel portion that connects to the first channel portion in the direction of flow of the fluid, wherein the first channel portion converges in the direction of flow of the fluid, wherein the second channel portion is elongate and/or slot-like in cross section and bordered by two elongate side surfaces and two short leg surfaces, wherein the leg surfaces are inclined relative to the direction of flow and/or a longitudinal axis of the channel, and/or wherein the second channel portion is embodied as a trapezoidal prism and the side surfaces are arranged so as to be at least substantially parallel to one another.
FILTER BACKWASH NOZZLE
A nozzle is disclosed for use within a filter for inputting a jetting stream into the filter media to clean the filter media. The nozzle comprises an inlet for communication with a jetting stream source, and a plurality of plates stacked parallel and abutting one another. The plurality of plates comprises at least a top plate and a bottom plate, one of the plates having an aperture through the center thereof for receiving the jetting stream, wherein between adjacent plates at least one space is provided extending from the outside edge of the plates to the interior of plates and in fluid communication with the aperture for channeling the jetting stream radially outward from and substantially parallel with the longitudinal plane of the plate.

The plurality of plates comprises at least a top plate and a bottom plate, one of the plates having an aperture through the center thereof for receiving the jetting stream, wherein between adjacent plates at least one space is provided extending from the outside edge of the plates to the interior of plates and in fluid communication with the aperture for channelling the jetting stream radially outward from and substantially parallel with the longitudinal plane of the plate.
SPLASH WATER OUTLET MECHANISM
A water outlet mechanism, includes at least two diversion waterway sets connected to the water source and an outlet, each diversion waterway set has at least two diversion waterways and at least two water diversion passages; water from the at least two diversion waterways impact and converge and then enter the water diversion passages, the flowing direction of the at least two water diversion passages intersect, and water from the at least two water diversion passages impact and then spray out of the outlet. Water from at least two diversion waterways impacts and converges and then enters the water diversion passage, the water particles are refined and shaken; the direction of the at least two water diversion passages intersect, and water in the cavity of the inlet impact again to form wavy water type and then sprays out of the outlet.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR FUEL INJECTION USING SWIRL BURST INJECTOR
Flow blurring injection utilizes a two-phase concept to generate fine sprays immediately at the interior exit, rather than a typical jet which gradually disintegrates into ligaments and then finer droplets for a conventional injector. Therefore, clean combustion is achieved with the FB injection for fuels with distinct properties without fuel preheating or hardware modification. However, in addition to the droplets, the FB injection also produces ligaments for highly viscous liquids and relatively larger droplets at spray edge, resulting in difficulty in sustaining the flame and performs incomplete combustion and higher emissions close to the combustor all. The disclosed swirl burst injector and method utilizes the advantages of FB injection and swirl atomization to further improve atomization, and overcomes the limitations of FB injection, providing a sustainable way to use both conventional and alternative fuels with improved efficiency and minimized emissions. The fine atomization of the present invention can be also used in various applications where fine sprays are needed.
Processing system, processing method, and storage medium
According to one embodiment, a processing system includes a chamber, a supplier, a detector, and a controller. The chamber is configured to store a processing object inside. The supplier is configured to supply a plurality of particles and a gas inside the chamber. The detector is configured to detect a state of air flow in a vicinity of the processing object. The controller is configured to control the supplier based on a detection value from the detector. The controller determines generation of a vortex based on data regarding a steady state of the air flow and the detection value from the detector, and controls the supplier to stop supply of the plurality of particles when the generation of the vortex is determined.
Dispensers for Dispensing Microcapsules
A dispenser for applying at least two compositions, the dispenser including at least two reservoirs for storing the at least two compositions separately, at least two pumps for pumping the at least two compositions, which pumps have different strokes, an exit orifice, and an actuator assembly. The difference between the first stroke and the second stroke is accommodated through flexure of a flexing member in the actuator assembly. The first composition includes microcapsules and the second composition includes a volatile solvent.
