NOZZLE CONFIGURATIONS TO CREATE A VORTEX OF FIRE SUPPRESSION AGENT
A fire suppression system in an aircraft includes a first nozzle within a region to perform discharge of a fire suppression agent in a first direction within a region. The systems also includes a second nozzle within the region to perform discharge of the fire suppression agent in a second direction within the region. The discharge in the first direction by the first nozzle and the discharge in the second direction by the second nozzle generate and maintain a vortex of the fire suppression agent that occupies the region with rotational flow.
Nozzle for providing a helical spray
A nozzle includes a shell, a distributor, a panel and a collar. The distributor is inserted in the shell. The distributor includes protuberances each of which includes a cylindrical section, a conical section extending from the cylindrical section, and two fins extending from the cylindrical section. The panel includes outlets and tubes. The outlets extend through the panel. Each of the tubes is in communication with a corresponding one of the outlets and includes tangential passageways. Each of the tubes receives a corresponding one of the protuberances. The tangential passageways of each of the tubes receive the fins of the corresponding protuberance so that each of the tangential passageways is partially blocked by the corresponding fin. The collar is connected to the shell and includes an annular flange. The collar receives the panel. The panel is sandwiched between the annular flange of the collar and an end of the shell.

Nozzle tips with neck portions for reduced cleaning times
The invention relates to nozzle tips including a nozzle body and a tip portion, configured to minimize the accumulation of a resin on the nozzle tip as it is dispensed through the nozzle tip. The nozzle tip can contain a central flow channel and an internal portion that branches and guides the resin into multiple exiting flow channels that define tangential pathways to the outer surface of the nozzle tip. The nozzle tip can include grooves that define extended, sharply angled flow paths for the resin. Nozzle tips can have a neck portion separating a nozzle body and a tip end of the nozzle tip; here, a doughnut-shaped space located around the neck portion can be defined by the base of the nozzle, the crown of the nozzle, and the neck portion, for encouraging turbulent flow of the resin to scour the nozzle tip during dispensing.
GUIDING PIPE FOR WATER SPRAYER
A guiding pipe for a water sprayer, and the water sprayer has a handle with an intake end configured to connect to a water source and another end connected a spray head through a guiding pipe. The guiding pipe has a spiral main tube provided with a respective circular connecting section at each end, and the circular connecting sections are respectively connected to the handle and the spray head.
PAINT BELL CUP FOR VEHICLE PAINT APPLICATION
A paint bell cup for directing a spray of paint onto a surface includes a cup body having an outer surface, an inner conical surface having a circumferential edge, and a stem extending from the outer surface. The stem includes a passage that delivers paint toward the inner conical surface. The cup body includes one or more spray control features that extend along the inner conical surface toward the circumferential edge. The one or more spray control features promote a selected uniform droplet size of the paint traveling from the stem toward the circumferential edge.
DISPENSER
Dispenser (1) for liquids comprising an applying nozzle constituted by a bell-shaped body (2) extending along a central axis (A) and provided, at the bottom, with an annular collar (3) and, at the top, with a convex cap (4); the bell-shaped body (2) having a first axial hole (5) whose cross-section decreases from the collar (3) towards said cap (4); a valve (7) for nebulizing the solution being housed inside the first hole (5) in a matching manner; an expansion device (9) being provided at the exit of said first hole (5).
CYCLONIC VALVE AND METHOD FOR CLEANING PUMPS
A cyclonic valve for cleaning pumps for transferring powders of any type in high density, including an inlet duct for introducing a flow of cleaning fluid, a flow dividing element adapted for dividing the flow in inlet into a plurality of flows, and a flow orienter having means for deviating and orienting in space the plurality of flows so as to give each of the flows a tangential motion component with respect to the direction of the flows, and then conveying the flows into one or more ducts towards the device to be cleaned, so as to generate a single cleaning flow in outlet having helical motion.
