While such systems and methods can include any suitable component, in some cases, they include a first and a second piece of sauna housing and a sauna heater. In some such cases, the second piece of sauna housing slidingly couples with the first piece to define an interior sauna chamber. Additionally, in some cases, a first portion of the second piece of sauna housing is configured to slidably fit within the first piece such that a volume of the sauna chamber is configured to increase and decrease, respectively, when the second piece is moved into an extended position or when the second piece is moved from the extended position into a collapsed position in which the second piece nests within the first piece. In some cases, the first and second pieces include a ceiling that is configured to extend over a user within the sauna chamber. Other implementations are described.

Sanitizing steam room
20220054690 · 2022-02-24 ·

A steam room for sanitizing people's external body parts and clothes, but also their breathing airways and respiratory tract, to reduce viral load and thereby mitigate the likelihood of spreading or contracting Viral contamination. Steam room has precise temperature and relative humidity control of a heater and mist generator, in which the mist water molecules contain an accurate concentration of a Chlorine or Ethanol based disinfectant, so that the water vapor or combined air/water mixture in the room that comes in contact with the sanitized person reaches but does not surpass the globally permitted concentration of free Chlorine for swimming pools, dressing rooms and spas. The room has thermally isolated quick doors allowing rapid entry and exit, and the signaling to guide the person when to enter, stay and breath, and exit, in the most suitable timing profile for the application.

LOW EMF HALOGEN TUBE HEATER

Sauna heaters are used to generate heat for saunas. Sauna heaters include a first halogen tube configured to generate heat, a second halogen tube configured to generate heat, wherein the first halogen tube is implemented a distance from the second halogen, and wherein the distance between the first halogen tube and the second halogen tube is configurable to adjust an amount of electromagnetic field (EMF) emitted by the heater. Sauna heaters also include a source of alternating current electrically coupled to the first halogen tube and the second halogen tube such that the source of alternating current is configured to provide the first halogen tube and the second halogen tube with a current, wherein the current powering the first halogen tube is out of phase with the current powering the second halogen tube.

Sauna heating panel power distribution systems and methods
09788367 · 2017-10-10 · ·

Power feed connections and sauna heating panels include a power feed having a first insulated conductor electrically coupled to a first terminal and a second insulated conductor electrically coupled to a second terminal. The first and second terminals are electrically coupled with at least one heating element. In some cases the power feed includes a supply portion, a connection portion, and an extension portion. The extension portion has one or more conductors in a twisted configuration extending away from the first and second terminals. In some cases the power feed includes an extension conductor portion coupled to a return conductor portion in a twisted configuration. The extension portion extends away from a second terminal past a second connection point and the return portion returns back to and connects to the second connection point at the second terminal. Methods for providing power connections to heating panels are also provided.

APPARATUS FOR PROMOTING INEFFECTIVE SWEATIING
20170281465 · 2017-10-05 ·

To provide an apparatus for promoting ineffective sweating includes an air heating unit for heating air in a sweating room, a mist generator for generating mist, a blower for circulating air in the sweating room by supplying mist, and a control device. The sweating room is provided with a temperature sensor and a humidity sensor for measuring temperature and relative humidity respectively in the sweating room. The control device is provided with a dew-point temperature determination unit for determining a dew-point temperature td in the sweating room based on the temperature and the relative humidity and a temperature setting unit for setting a body temperature of a user, and controls the air heating unit and the mist generator so that the dew-point temperature td is kept higher than the body temperature. This configuration can promote comfortable ineffective sweating with the low physical burden on the user.

Combined Warmer and Seat Fumigator Using Bioceramics
