Hydrogen Generation Device
A hydrogen generation device includes a tubular tank and a top lid combined with the tank. An immersion tube in which a hydrogen generating agent package is stuffed is placed in the tank. The hydrogen generating agent package is submerged in water after water is poured in the tank to generate hydrogen, which is released through a tank opening of the tank. The hydrogen generating agent package accommodates hydrogen generating agent powders including calcium oxide and aluminum powders, both of which are mixed and wrapped with a nonwoven fabric, as well as a little catalytic sodium carbonate added inside. For inhibition of free radicals and promotion of metabolism, the hydrogen generation device is further provided with a connector and a hose for a skin-care instrument, a nasal mask, an eye shield or an ear cleaner through which hydrogen is supplied as required.
Apparatus for displacement of blood to mitigate peripheral nerve neuropathy
Embodiments of the present invention are directed to devices, systems and methods adapted for implementing intermittent displacement of blood to mitigate peripheral nerve neuropathy such as that induced by chemotherapeutic agents (i.e., chemotherapy-induced neuropathy (CIN)) that are administered to a patient. Such devices, systems and methods advantageously provide for precise, uniform and controlled blood flow occluding (and optionally blood displacing) compression along irregular surfaces of an appendage of a patient. Such precise, uniform and controlled blood occluding compression is imparted upon the epidermal and dermis skin layers within the aforementioned areas of a patient's extremities to decrease the time that free nerve endings located in the epidermal and encapsulated nerve endings located in the dermis skin layers are exposed to nerve damaging chemotherapy chemicals, thereby substantially decreasing CIN caused by prolonged exposure to such chemicals.
Device and Method for Cosmetic Use
A device for cosmetic application comprises an application cabin including: an interior space; application apparatuses; and a control unit. The application apparatuses are individually controllable through the control unit via an operating unit. At least one of the application apparatuses comprises an ion apparatus to supply ionized air into the interior space. A method for operating the device for cosmetic application includes: recording, via the operating unit, user data, the user data include weight, age, and height of a user; determining application parameters from the user data, the application parameters including an application duration and an application intensity of individual ones of the application apparatuses; creating an application plan for coordinating individual cosmetic applications by the individual one of the application apparatuses, including a temporal sequence of applications; and controlling the individual one of the application apparatuses using the application plan.
