Electrostatic fluid sprayer with base unit providing active fluid cloud dispersal
An electrostatic sprayer system for dispensing and dispersing a liquid containing a spray compound includes a spray cloud dispersal feature that reduces the time that a residual spray cloud containing droplets including the spray compound remains suspended after spraying. A method of dispersing the residual spray cloud is implemented by a control system that causes a flow control system to deliver a non-active gas or liquid in conjunction with stopping delivery of the liquid containing the spray agent and charged with the same polarity, so that a charged cloud of the non-active gas or liquid, which may be air, displaces the suspended active fluid particles. The non-active gas or liquid may be dispensed for a predetermined time interval as determined by the control system, or the operator may control the time interval during which that the non-active fluid is dispensed.
EFFECTIVE COMPONENT GENERATION DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
Effective component generation device includes internal component and case. Internal components include discharger that generates an effective component. Case is formed in a box shape having discharge port through which an effective component is discharged, and houses internal components. Case includes metal body including a bottom plate and peripheral walls surrounding at least discharger in internal component. Metal body has seamless portion at a corner portion between two surfaces of adjacent peripheral walls oriented in different directions. As a result, there is provided effective component generation device capable of suppressing electromagnetic noise radiated to the outside of case and reducing an influence of electromagnetic noise to the outside.

MIST DEPOSITION APPARATUS AND MIST DEPOSITION METHOD
A deposition apparatus supplies mist containing fine particles to a substrate and forms a film including the fine particles on a substrate surface, and includes an air guide member that covers at least a portion of the substrate surface, and a mist supplying section that supplies mist to a space between the substrate surface and the air guide member. The mist supplying section includes a charge applying section, which applies a positive or negative charge to the mist, and a mist ejecting section, which ejects the mist charged by the mist applying section into the space. The air guide member has a wall surface facing the substrate surface, and the deposition apparatus includes an electrostatic field generating section that causes a potential having a same sign as the mist charged by the charge applying section to be generated by the wall surface.

EFFECTIVE COMPONENT GENERATION DEVICE
Effective component generation device includes internal components, case, and air passage member. Air passage member is housed in case and surrounds discharger. Air blower of internal components generates air flow that outputs an effective component to the outside. Air passage member has upstream block and downstream block. Upstream block forms air supply passage on the upstream side. Downstream block forms air discharge passage on the downstream side. Air passage member includes air supply passage and air discharge passage in case, and forms air passage through which air flow passes. This provides effective component generation device capable of efficiently generating air flow that outputs an effective component to the outside of case.
