TOPSIDE CONTROL PANEL FOR BATHING UNIT SYSTEM
A topside control panel for a bathing unit system is provided. The topside control panel comprises a housing including a top surface and a bottom surface opposed to the top surface and a display touch or presence-sensitive assembly positioned upon the top surface of the housing. The topside control panel also includes a circuit board assembly positioned upon the bottom surface the housing. In some embodiments, the bottom surface may be circumscribed by a bottom peripheral wall, which with the bottom surface defines a recess in which is positioned the circuit board assembly. A back panel may be secured to the housing so as to enclose the second recess and form an enclosed space. The back panel may include a ventilation member configured for allowing air communication between the enclosed space and a space external to the topside control panel. In another aspect, a topside control panel having a cover frame including a cut out or window area may be provided for receiving the display touch or presence-sensitive assembly when assembled with the housing and may allow for customizing the aesthetic appearance of the topside control panel by selecting cover frames having different appearances.
Swim spa with plenum arrangement at head end
A method of operating a swimming pool with a circulating water flow. The method including the steps of discharging a jet of water and splitting the flow of water. The discharging step including the discharging of a jet of water from an outlet at a head end of the swimming pool into a swimming compartment, whereby the jet of water flows in a primary flow path toward a foot end of the swimming compartment. The splitting step including the splitting of the flow of water to define two circuitous flow paths, each said flow path having a return flow path flowing within said swimming compartment in a direction generally opposite to said primary flow path back toward said head end.
Multi-pump hot tub plumbing system
A hot tub plumbing system including a plurality of water pumps respectively provided at different sides of a hot tub having a plurality of jets, and a plurality of manifolds each having an intake port coupled to one of the water pumps, and each configured to have a plurality of output ports respectively connected by tubing to one of the jets of the hot tub.
Quick and easy bench and the hot tub cover platform
A quick and easy bench and a hot tub cover platform. The bench top has three support braces: one left side, one center, and one right side. The bench top is hinged to a 24 on a wall. There is another 24 lower on the wall for the left, center, and right side braces to support the bench top. There are saddles on the bottom of the bench and a lower 24 on wall for the braces to support the bench. The top of the hot tub platform consists of 5-24's screwed to 4 stringers running perpendicular to the 5-24's and supported on the backside by 4 vertical 24's with a cross brace 24 at the bottom and top. The platform is attached to the hot tub skirt by a 24 screwed on the tub skirt.
Method and Device for Supplying Oxygen to a Patient
A system for delivering oxygen to a substantially stationary patient without coupling a device to the body of the patient is disclosed. The system includes a source of oxygen coupled to a delivery system wherein the delivery system has a pump configured to pressurize oxygen and an elongate hollow member operatively coupled to the pump. The elongate hollow member has a proximal end and a distal end and is constructed to receive oxygen in its proximal end and deliver oxygen to the patient out the distal end. The length and diameter of the elongate member, the flow of oxygen through the elongate member, and the distance from the distal end of the elongate member to the face of the patient are optimized to collimate a stream of oxygen such that when the stream of oxygen reaches the patients face it envelops the face of the patient.
Towel warmer for use in conjunction with a hot tub
A retrofittable towel warmer for use with a hot tub preferably comprises a flexible conduit portion which is attachable to one of the jets of the hot tub together with a rigid thermally conductive portion which is detachably mountable on an exterior mast support. There is also preferably provided an exterior housing surrounding the thermally conductive portion designed to provide maximum thermal contact with the cloth material to be heated. The entire unit may be immersed in the hot tub or pool water when not in use. In an alternate embodiment a container having a thermally absorptive medium is provided in a structure which is easily mounted on the mast. In an alternate embodiment a container having a thermally absorptive medium is provided in a structure which is easily mounted on a supporting mast.
Aquarium fluid pump assembly with magnectic rotator
A fluid pump assembly is provided. The pump has a pair of units magnetically coupled to each other. The first unit contains a drive motor and a magnetic assembly. The second unit contains a magnetic assembly and a blade of a propeller/impeller for imparting movement to a fluid. As the first unit is activated by the drive motor, a magnetic flux is created which in turn rotates the magnetic assembly in the second unit, driving the blade.
Compact universal gas pool heater and associated methods
Swimming pool or spa gas heaters, cabinets, water header manifolds, and heat exchangers include: gas heaters having an air gap between a cabinet and combustion chamber to reduce heat transfer to sides of the cabinet; gas heaters having a user interface that is repositionable on a top panel; gas heater cabinets including a removable top panel that can be hung on a side panel; gas heaters having a built-in dual junction box; gas heaters having a top-accessible igniter and burner that are interlocked to maintain positioning thereof; adaptable water manifolds including connectable inlet and outlet fittings that adjust effective inlet and outlet positions; heat exchangers having a plurality of tube-and-fin subassemblies arranged in a semi-circular configuration; and water manifolds including internal cartridges that divide the water manifold into a plurality of chambers for improved circulation through a heat exchanger.
Mobile apparatus for the dispersion and transdermal delivery of pharmaceutical, medical or purified carbon dioxide gas
A mobile treatment apparatus for use in treating a user of the apparatus with medical or therapeutic gases, comprising a mixing unit for containing water and having a motionless mixing means; a gas cartridge unit removably mounted to the mixing unit via a cartridge piercing module, wherein a pressure-regulating valve regulates a flow rate of a gas from the cartridge through the mixing means, to achieve a specified gas-water mixture that is effective for transdermal delivery of the gas to the user; and a wearable receiver suit for forming a space around at least an area of the user's body to be treated, wherein the suit is connected to the mixing unit, for delivery of the gas to treat the area via the transdermal delivery.
