Coating device
A coating device includes a rotary head, a power supply part that applies a voltage to the rotary head, and a control part that controls the power supply part. The rotary head is configured so that a coating material is electrostatically atomized. The control part is configured so as to calculate a discharge current based on a total current flowing from the power supply part to the rotary head and a leak current, and control the power supply part based on the discharge current.

At least a portion of the at least one extension is coated or shielded by nanotube particles.

VOLTAGE ASSISTED PAINTING SYSTEM
A voltage assisted painting system includes a housing, at least one nozzle, and at least one electrode. The housing has a conduit for receiving paint from an external source into the housing. The at least one nozzle is disposed in the housing. The at least one nozzle has an inlet that is fluidly connected to the conduit to receive paint from the conduit. The at least one nozzle has an outlet that dispenses paint. The at least one electrode is provided at the housing at a location downstream of the inlet with respect to the conduit. The at least one electrode is configured to generate a magnetic field in the vicinity of the outlet.
ELECTROSPINNING APPARATUS AND SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF
A portable, hand-held electrospinning or electrospraying apparatus and system, method, and portions thereof, comprised of a durable portion of the hand-held apparatus and a consumable portion of the hand-held apparatus. The consumable portion of the hand-held apparatus, which may contain the solution to be output in electrospin or electrospray fashion, may be replaced in whole or in part to provide additional or alternative solution. A base station may be provided, and can output high voltage and communication signals to the hand-held apparatus to enable the electrospin or electrospray operation by the hand-held apparatus.
ANGLE ADAPTER FOR A POWDER SPRAY DEVICE
The angle adapter according to the invention for a powder spray device comprises an upstream housing, which has an upstream powder channel, a connection to the powder spray device, and a longitudinal axis, about which the housing can be rotated. The powder spray device additionally comprises a pivot body comprising a downstream powder channel, which connects to the upstream powder channel The pivot body can be pivoted about a pivot axis, whereby the pivot axis runs obliquely to the longitudinal axis. A nozzle is additionally provided, which connects to the pivot body. Several webs and grooves are provided at the housing and pivot body, whereby the webs protrude into the grooves, and the webs and grooves are formed so that they form a labyrinth. A high voltage line is furthermore provided, which extends from the upstream housing via the pivot body all the way into the nozzle and which is formed there as high voltage electrode.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MAGNETICALLY INDUCED ELECTROSPRAY THRUSTERS
A device and method for emitting an electrospray of ionized particles is disclosed, comprising a reservoir, an emitter in communication with the reservoir and having openings, wherein the openings are configured to permit release of the liquid media therefrom in response to a dynamic magnetic field; and an element for generating a dynamic magnetic field that runs through the emitter. The element may comprise two orthogonal Helmholtz coil pairs. In another example embodiment, an electrospray thruster is disclosed. The electrospray thruster may comprise: a reservoir for accommodating a volume of liquid media capable of being ionized; an emitter grid comprising a plurality of emitters, wherein each emitter of the plurality of emitters is in communication with the reservoir and comprises an opening disposed therethrough; and an element for causing the liquid media to be ionized from the emitter by a dynamic magnetic field.
