SPRAY QUANTITY ADJUSTABLE FOAM/LIQUID DUAL-PURPOSE DISTRIBUTION DEVICE
A spray quantity adjustable foam/liquid dual-purpose distribution device includes a gas compressor, an isolation electromagnetic valve, a liquid accumulator, an electromagnetic valve, and a foam generation device that are connected to each other. The gas compressor supplies pressurized gas into the isolation electromagnetic valve and/or the liquid accumulator or the foam generation device. When the pressurized gas is supplied into the liquid accumulator, an internal pressure of the liquid accumulator is increased to force liquid contained in the liquid accumulator toward the electromagnetic valve, which, once activated, conduct the liquid to the foam generation device, so that the pressurized gas and the liquid are mixed in the foam generation device to generate a foamed liquid that is discharged out through an egress opening.
Spray gun
A swivel connector for a spray gun includes a first portion, the first portion including a first interior passage that extends entirely through the first portion along a longitudinal axis and a second a second interior passage that extends along a first axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. The swivel connector also includes a second portion coupled to the first portion, the second portion including a third interior passage that extends entirely through the second portion along the longitudinal axis, and a fourth interior passage that extends along a second axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. The swivel connector also includes a connector pin coupled to both the first portion and the second portion, wherein the connector pin includes a fifth interior passage that extends along the longitudinal axis.
SELF-CONTAINED FOAM-GENERATING DEVICE WITH BUILT-IN BREATHING APPARATUS
A breathing apparatus for use by the operator, is supplied with compressed air also used to manufacture the foam to be generated on site, and optionally run a pneumatic pump sucking up the foaming liquid, using suitable regulators. An automatic shut-off device is added to automatically cut off the supply elsewhere than to the breathing apparatus when the quantity of air available becomes low.
PLURAL COMPONENT SPRAY GUN SYSTEM
A spray gun for a plural component system is provided. The spray gun includes a first component delivery line and a second component delivery line. The spray gun also includes a nozzle, configured to receive and mix a first component received from the first component delivery line with a second component received from the second component delivery line. The spray gun also includes an air purge system configured to, when the spray gun is in a non-actuated position, purge the nozzle of the first and second components and, when the spray gun is in an actuated position, aid in atomization of the mixture of the first and second components.
FILTERING FLUID DISPENSING DEVICE
A fluid dispensing device has a spool valve in a dispenser housing with a spool in a spool housing and a spool wall around the spool housing with entrance and an exit openings defined therethrough; an entrance channel in the dispenser housing proximate to the spool wall entrance opening; a force applying element in the entrance channel that applies force against the spool wall with entrance and exit ends with the exit end proximate to the spool wall; a hose adapter fitting with an entrance end extending out from and an exit end extending into the entrance and contacting the force applying element with a flow passage extending through it; and fluid communication through the hose adapter fitting flow passage through the force applying element and into an entrance opening in the spool wall; where the force applying element defines a tortuous path through which fluid must travel.
Foam-forming assembly and squeeze foamer
A foam-forming assembly includes a housing having an air passage and a liquid passage, each ending in a mouth and being in communication with a dispensing passage having a dispensing opening, and a valve body which, in a rest position, covers the mouth of the liquid passage and the mouth of the air passage in a sealing manner in order to prevent a flow from the liquid passage and the air passage to the dispensing passage. During dispensing, the valve body opens the mouth of the liquid passage and the mouth of the air passage in order to allow mixing of air and liquid to take place in the dispensing passage. The mouth of the air passage is substantially annular, and the air passage includes a pressure balance chamber to divide the air pressure substantially equally over the substantially annular mouth.
Liquid Hand Cleaner Foam Dispensing as Spray and Liquid Stream
Operating a hand cleaner dispenser for dispensing a cleaning liquid from a reservoir onto a person's hands in a cycle of operation wherein, during a first time interval during the cycle dispensing the liquid onto the hand as a spray, and during a second time interval during the cycle dispensing the liquid onto the hand as a liquid stream.
Self-foaming hot melt adhesive compositions and methods of making and using same
The present invention relates to self-foaming hot melt adhesive compositions and methods of making and using the same. Self-foaming hot melt adhesive compositions are formed by admixing a dispersion concentrate including a chemical blowing agent and a compatible carrier (liquid or molten) with a molten base hot melt adhesive composition at a temperature below the decomposition temperature of the chemical blowing agent. The resolidified material is processed through a device that heats the material above the decomposition temperature of the chemical agent and cools it below such temperature before being dispensed. The device preferably includes sensors and a controller configured to prevent the material from accumulating an adverse thermal history during processing.
FOAMING NOZZLE OF A CLEANING SYSTEM FOR TURBINE ENGINES
A turbine engine cleaning system includes a foaming nozzle. The foaming nozzle includes a wall having a thickness between an outer surface of the wall and an inner surface of the wall. The outer surface of the wall is configured to contact a detergent in which the foaming nozzle is configured to be disposed. The inner surface of the wall surrounds an inner plenum of the foaming nozzle, and the inner plenum is configured to receive an aerating gas. The foaming nozzle also includes a first row of first through holes fluidly coupled to, and extending between, a first row of first through hole inlets at the inner surface of the wall and a first row of first through hole outlets at the outer surface of the wall. The foaming nozzle also includes a second row of second through holes disposed axially adjacent to the first row of second through holes with respect to a longitudinal axis of the inner plenum, where the second row of second through holes is fluidly coupled to, and extending between, a second row of second through hole inlets at the inner surface of the wall and a second row of second through hole outlets at the outer surface of the wall. The foaming nozzle also includes cross-sections of the first through holes and the second through holes having regular shapes.
