A fluid delivery system includes a status indicator and control system comprising a processor. The processor is configured to receive a first signal indicative of a first status of operations of a spray application system. The processor is further configured to provide to an operator of a spray gun, via a display system, a visualization representative of the first status of operations, and techniques to control the fluid delivery system, wherein the spray application system is configured to deliver at least one fluid to the spray gun during operations.

SELF-FOAMING HOT MELT ADHESIVE COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING SAME
20190247875 · 2019-08-15 ·

The present invention relates to self-foaming hot melt adhesive compositions and methods of making and using the same. Self-foaming hot melt adhesive compositions are formed by admixing a dispersion concentrate including a chemical blowing agent and a compatible carrier (liquid or molten) with a molten base hot melt adhesive composition at a temperature below the decomposition temperature of the chemical blowing agent. The resolidified material is processed through a device that heats the material above the decomposition temperature of the chemical agent and cools it below such temperature before being dispensed. The device preferably includes sensors and a controller configured to prevent the material from accumulating an adverse thermal history during processing.

Apparatus and method for dispensing liquefied fluid
10245604 · 2019-04-02 · ·

An apparatus for dispensing a liquefied fluid including a housing, a main reservoir at least partially disposed within the housing, wherein the main reservoir is adapted to receive a substance, a heating element positioned to melt the substance into liquefied fluid, a second reservoir in fluid communication with the main reservoir, and a nozzle in fluid communication with the second reservoir, wherein the substance is dispensable from the nozzle as liquefied fluid.

Low Pressure Plural Component Spray System and Foams Generated Therefrom

The disclosure provides methods for preparing a plural component material where part A and part B supplies are delivered from unpressurized storage containers. In use, a continuous stream of high velocity air moves through the static mixing nozzle, and the material streams may be intermittently moved into the nozzle and aerated with an air supply to cause the A and B materials to be mixed with each other and moved with the air to form the plural component materials. The plural component materials are delivered from a static mixing nozzle at pressures of less than 300 psi. Spray guns configured for preparing the plural component materials are also disclosed. Polyurethane foams, polyurethane adhesives, and polyurea coatings prepared by the methods are further provided.

Fluid delivery system

A fluid delivery system includes a conduit. The conduit is configured to deliver a fluid. The conduit further includes a first electrically conductive element configured to deliver electricity through a length of the conduit. The fluid delivery system further includes master hub disposed on a fluid delivery device. The fluid delivery system also includes at least one slave hub disposed on the conduit and communicatively coupled to the master hub.

Heated hose with improved power feedthrough
10190716 · 2019-01-29 · ·

A heated hose has pressure housings at or near its inlet and outlet. Heat is provided by an electric resistance heater located within the flow channel of the hose. Power feedthroughs in the pressure housings provide fluid-tight electrical power and return connections to the heater. The power feedthroughs may comprise a generally cylindrical body having a central axial bore. A conductor pin is situated within the central axial bore in spaced apart relation thereto creating an annulus. The annulus may be filled with an insulating material such as a ceramic. The power feedthroughs are retained within bores in each of the pressure housings. The bores have a circumferential groove in their inner walls which hold a seal such as an O-ring in sealing engagement with the outer surface of the generally cylindrical body of the power feedthrough.
