INDEPENDENT HEATED HOSE
A plural component dispensing system includes a first heated hose, a second heated hose, a controller, and a dispensing device. The first heated hose and the second heated hose include electrical wires that supply heat to the first and second heated hoses to heat fluid components within the first and second heated hoses. The first and second heated hoses are electrically coupled to the controller and are fluidly coupled to the dispensing device. The controller is configured to control and alternate the electrical power supplied to the first heated hose and the second heated hose to heat the first heated hose independent of the second heated hose.
Mist generator, mist film formation method and mist film formation apparatus
A mist generating apparatus sprays a surface of an object (P) to be treated with a carrier gas (CGS) of mist (Mst) of a solution containing fine particles or molecules of a material substance, so that a layer of the material substance is deposited on the surface of the object (P) to be treated. The mist generating device includes a mist generator (14) for atomizing the solution to feed the carrier gas (CGS) containing the mist (Mst), and an ultraviolet irradiator (20B) for applying ultraviolet rays having a wavelength of 400 nm or lower to the mist (Mst) floating in the carrier gas (CGS) in a flow path extending from the mist generator (14) until the carrier gas (CGS) is sprayed on the surface of the object (P) to be treated.
Method of cleaning a torch of a plasma-coating plant and a plasma-coating plant
Method of cleaning a plasma coating torch utilizing at least one nozzle mounted so as to be directed at the plasma coating torch in order to subject an external surface of the plasma coating torch to a cleaning agent that removes spray material particles which have adhered to the external surface of the plasma coating torch during coating with the plasma coating torch, and such that the cleaning agent exiting the at least one nozzle and being directed toward the external surface and directly changing to a gaseous state from either a solid state or a liquid state.
MACHINE TOOL
A machine tool arranged to deliver an energy source through a processing head onto a work-piece, wherein; the machine-tool has a clamping mechanism arranged to temporarily receive the processing-head, or another machining or processing-head, to process a work-piece; the processing-head comprising one or more guiding mechanisms arranged to direct the energy source onto a work-piece and a processing-head docking-manifold arranged to have connected thereto one or more media to be, in use, supplied to the processing-head to facilitate processing of the work-piece; wherein the processing-head docking-manifold allows the one or more media to be supplied to the processing-head when the processing-head is connected to the clamping mechanism; and wherein the machine-tool also comprises at least one mechanism arranged to move a supply docking-manifold into and/or out of connection with the processing-head docking-manifold such that when the two manifolds are connected the or each media is supplied to the processing head.
SYSTEM, APPARATUS, AND METHOD FOR MONITORED THERMAL SPRAYING
A system (100), apparatus (110), and method (900) for monitored thermal spraying. One or more sensors (610) are used to capture one or more types of measurements (650) to monitor the thermal spraying process. A processor (710) can analyze a waveform (750) of measurements (650), such as electrical measurements (652). The processor (710) can then initiate a response (770) such as a warning (772) or an automatic adjustment (790) that is triggered by an identified operating condition (800).
Thermal spray cabin with suction system
A thermal spray cabin comprising a table to hold a part to be coated and a robot with a robot body and an arm, a spray gun mounted on the arm of the robot, a ventilation system comprising an air inlet and a suction hood designed to create a gas flow with a main stream from the air inlet to the suction hood thereby passing the table in an operating state of the thermal spray cabin. The air inlet, the table, the robot and the suction hood are arranged in such a way, that the robot body is positioned outside the main stream of the gas flow in the operating state.

Wire Guides For Plasma Transferred Wire Arc Processes
A thermal metal spraying apparatus for applying a metal coating to a target surface. The apparatus provides a cathode, a wire feed stock having a free end, and a wire guide that directs the free end of the wire feedstock to a position for establishing and maintaining a plasma transferred wire arc between the cathode and the free end of the wire feedstock. The wire guide maintains at least three points of contact with the wire feedstock as the wire feedstock is fed through the wire guide.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CLADDING A SURFACE OF AN ARTICLE
This invention relates to a method, system and apparatus for cladding a surface of an articles subject to corrosive, erosive or abrasive wear, such as impact or grinding tools. The method includes providing a supply of stock material and feeding the stock material towards a portion of the surface of the article via a dedicated feed source. A dedicated heat source heats the fed stock material and the portion of the surface of the article such that the heated stock material and the portion of the surface at least partially melt. Upon removal of the heat, the molten feedstock and the surface portion form a bonded coating layer on at least a portion of the surface of the article, thereby protecting that part of the assembly against wear.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MAKING ORGANIC THIN FILM
An organic thin film apparatus comprises an evaporating source, a depositing substrate and a heating device. The evaporating source, the depositing substrate and the heating device are located in a non-vacuum environment. The evaporating source comprises an evaporating material and a carbon nanotube film structure. The evaporating material is located on a carbon nanotube film structure surface. The depositing substrate is facing and spaced from the carbon nanotube film structure. The heating device inputs a signal to heat the carbon nanotube film structure.
