Nozzle, Valve, and Manifold Assembly for Precision Application of Crop Protectant
A treatment system for spraying treatment fluid onto plants in a field is described. The treatment system includes a highly configurable treatment mechanism including an array of nozzles and valve assemblies coupled into manifolds, and manifold assemblies. The manifolds of the manifold assemblies can be oriented in an open state or a nested state, the open state with no overlap between nozzles of adjacent manifolds and the nested state with overlap between nozzles of adjacent manifolds. The manifolds can have multiple configurations, examples of which include a tube manifold and an offset manifold. The nozzles of the system can have multiple configurations, examples of which include a tri-spray nozzle, a bar nozzle, a fan nozzle, and a deflected fan nozzle. The system can be controlled by a system controller which detects plant material and instructs a nozzle or combination of nozzles to spray treatment fluid.
Device for coating cylinder including a coating head with coating guns
A device for coating a cylinder includes a coating head capable of being inserted into the cylinder, a plurality of coating guns which are provided on the coating head and are configured to discharge a coating material in a direction intersecting a longitudinal direction of the coating head, and a rotating cover which, when the coating material is discharged from one of a first coating gun and a second coating gun among the plurality of coating guns, is configured to cover the other of the first coating gun and the second coating gun, in which the plurality of coating guns are connected to coating material supply devices of different systems, respectively.
Light beam emission system
A light beam emission system includes: a blower that forms a flow path in which aerosol flows; and an emitter that emits a light beam. At least part of the light beam propagates along the flow path of the aerosol.
Fluid dispensing systems
A variety of dispensing manifolds which are removable connectable to a single deformable container having a single exit portion are disclosed. The dispensing manifolds of the present disclosure provide a single deformable container having a single exit with one or more outlets from which a fluid can be controllably dispensed. The present disclosure also provides a single force generation mechanism, a deformable container holding a fluid or substance, and dispensing mechanisms all on one machine, i.e., a carrier; a system that may also include a pressurized air source that assists a flow of a fluid; and a system that allows for a continuous flow a substance. The systems of the present disclosure provide a deformable container and a method of dispensing wherein, during dispensing, an actuation member is continuously free of contact with the fluid or substance within the container and the actuation member only contacts the exterior surface of the deformable container.
OUTDOOR SURFACE CLEANING APPARATUS WITH SPRAY MECHANISM
The invention provides a rugged cleaning device configured to clean outdoor surfaces using a variety of fluids and techniques. The outdoor cleaning device includes a brush head, a motor and a transmission for providing a driving force to the brush head, a fluid tank for storing a fluid (e.g., a cleaning solution or detergent), and a controller for controlling mixing (or not mixing) the fluid stored in the fluid tank during operation of the outdoor cleaning device. The controller may enable fluid from the cleaning tank to be mixed with a second fluid (e.g., water) prior to being dispensed via a plurality of nozzles. The nozzles may be formed via grooves on an inner cover and an outer cover may be provided to close off the grooves to form fluid channels. The fluid channels enable the distribution of cleaning fluids in various directions, enhancing the brush head's cleaning capability.

The controller may enable fluid from the cleaning tank to be mixed with a second fluid (e.g., water) prior to being dispensed via at least one nozzle. The at least one nozzle may be secured to a guard cover via grooves on an inner guard cover and an outer guard cover. The nozzle(s) enables the distribution of cleaning fluids in various directions, enhancing the brush head's cleaning capability.
Fixed spray application system
A method of using a system to apply liquid over a selected area includes providing a source of liquid, a first tube for transporting liquid from the source through the system, a connector, a check valve and a spray device. The connector includes a projection extending into the first tube. The projection has an inlet in fluid communication with the first tube. The connector further includes an outlet and a passageway in fluid communication with the inlet of the projection and the outlet of the connector. The check valve has an inlet in fluid communication with the outlet of the connector and an outlet. The check valve is operable to permit the passage of liquid from the inlet to the outlet upon pressurization of the liquid above a threshold pressurization level. The method includes the steps of introducing an amount of liquid to be applied to the selected area from the source of liquid to the first tube at a pressure below the threshold pressurization level of the check valve and providing pressurized air through the first tube to pressurize the liquid in the first tube above the threshold pressurization level of the check valve, thereby transporting liquid from the first tube, through the connector and the check valve and through the spray device in response to pressurization of the liquid. The liquid may be ozonated water.
