20220047820 · 2022-02-17 ·

A tensioning arrangement for an aerosol dispenser is presented where the tensioning arrangement has a conveying tube; an elastic member arranged to store mechanical energy from a substantially axial tensioning movement of the conveying tube; a rotatable member; a transmission mechanism configured to transmit a tensioning rotation of the rotatable member to the tensioning movement of the conveying tube, wherein the transmission mechanism has a cam profile and a cam follower arranged to follow the cam profile, wherein the cam profile has at least one priming structure; and wherein the tensioning arrangement is configured such that the conveying tube makes a temporary priming movement towards an initial position when the cam follower passes each priming structure during the tensioning movement of the conveying tube by means of the tensioning rotation of the rotatable member. An aerosol dispenser is also provided.

SOLUTION MIXING AND DISPENSING CONTAINER SYSTEM HAVING A CARTRIDGE RELEASE MECHANISM
20220048689 · 2022-02-17 ·

The present disclosure provides a new and innovative container system for mixing and dispensing a solution, such as a cleaning solution, that includes a container, dispenser, and a cartridge. The cartridge includes a reservoir containing a concentrated solution and a snap portion that closes the reservoir. The dispenser includes a sleeve that engages with the snap portion as part of a cartridge release mechanism to release the cartridge's concentrated solution into the container. As the dispenser's cap is tightened to the container, the dispenser's sleeve is forced downwards to engage the cartridge's snap portion and force the snap portion to disengage from the cartridge. The reservoir is therefore opened and its contents exit into the container's interior. As the dispenser's cap is disengaged from the container, the dispenser's sleeve is forced upwards, bringing the snap portion back to the cartridge and closing the reservoir.

A fluid measuring and dispensing device comprises a bottle engaging element having a bottom portion configured for removably sealably engaging the mouth of the bottle, a fluid container movably mounted on a top portion of a bottle engaging element and defining a fluid chamber, and a mist spray pump connected to the fluid container and having a fluid input port in fluid communication with the chamber. The fluid container is movable between a first position and a second position relative to the bottle engaging element. When the fluid container is in the first position, the chamber is sealed from the interior of the bottle. And when the fluid container is in the second position, at least one passageway extends throughout a bottom wall of the fluid container and throughout the bottle engaging element respectively, such that the chamber is in fluid communication with the interior of the bottle.

Packaging Device for a Product to be Dispensed

The invention relates to a packaging device comprising a bottle containing a product to be distributed and having a neck, and a dispensing device comprising a body arranged in the neck. A cache masking the body of the dispensing device is arranged in the neck of the bottle.

TWO-PART DISPENSING CLOSURE SYSTEM WITH INTERNAL SEAL AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME

A dispensing closure system includes an upper closure portion and a lower closure portion including an axial flow conduit and a vent conduit. The upper closure portion is axially movable relative to lower closure portion between shipping and dispensing positions. A seal is disposed on the lower closure portion over the flow and vent conduits. A peripheral spacing strip is removably secured to the upper closure portion and engages with either the lower closure or the outside of the container to prevent movement. A piercing probe includes piercing elements in alignment with the flow and vent conduits for piercing the seal. In the shipping position, the piercing elements are spaced from the seal. However, when the spacing strip is removed and the upper closure portion is axially moved to the dispensing position, the piercing elements pierce the seal to open the flow conduit and the vent conduit.

Spray head with refill valve

A spray head for a spray bottle includes a spray mechanism connected to a tube that extends into the spray bottle. The spray mechanism draws fluid from a bottom of the spray bottle, through the tube, to produce a spray of the fluid. A threaded female fitting attaches to a threaded top of the spray bottle. The threaded female, when screwed on to the threaded top of the spray bottle, securely attaches the spray head to the spray bottle. A refill valve, when opened, provides a conduit to refill the spray bottle so that fluid can be poured into the spray bottle without unscrewing the threaded fitting and removing the spray head from the spray bottle. A refill valve cap, when in a shut position, closes the refill valve to prevent spilling of the liquid when the spray bottle is not being refilled.
