20210353788 · 2021-11-18 ·

A same-hand, finger-mounted, and finger-operated hand sanitizer dispensing system with finger-mounted or with remote-mounted fluid reservoir, is disclosed herein. The system is operable without risk of cross-contamination, and is operable by the contaminated hand for self-decontamination. A dispensing pump is mounted on one finger and operated by another finger on the same hand. The dispensing pump draws sanitizer from a reservoir by way of a supply tubing. The reservoir can be mounted on the same finger as the pump or on another finger of the same hand.

Trigger sprayer with improved venting system and methods of using the same

A sprayer device with a trigger operated pump is operative for pumping and spraying liquid from an attached liquid container. The trigger sprayer includes valve body provided with a base portion that is configured to be mounted to the neck of the liquid container and a delivery nozzle from which the liquid is sprayed. A fluid flow path extends from the base portion to the delivery nozzle. A pumping chamber is in fluid communication with the flow passage and there is a vent opening between the pumping chamber and the interior of said base. A piston with spaced inboard and outboard seals is movable in the pumping chamber and the vent opening is located between the seals. A check valve is disposed between the vent opening and the interior of the base portion to prevent liquid from the container from backflowing into the pumping chamber during shipment and handling.

Spray dispenser with unitary sprayer cover and method of assembling a spray dispenser

A spray dispenser operably connectable to a container for dispensing fluid from the container. The spray dispenser includes a pump, a shroud disposed about at least a portion of the pump. The shroud has a shroud bottom edge defining an open end. A nozzle is in fluid communication with an outlet of the pump, the nozzle adjacent to an opening in the shroud and extending outwardly therefrom. A unitary sprayer cover having a first portion spaced apart from the open end of the shroud to define a shroud top of the shroud. The unitary sprayer cover further includes a second portion having a proximal end connected to the first portion and a distal end disposed away from the first portion. The second portion extends from the shroud to at least partially surround the nozzle.

Solution mixing and dispensing container system having a cartridge release mechanism

The present disclosure provides a new and innovative container system for mixing and dispensing a solution, such as a cleaning solution, that includes a container, dispenser, and a cartridge. The cartridge includes a reservoir containing a concentrated solution and a snap portion that closes the reservoir. The dispenser includes a sleeve that engages with the snap portion as part of a cartridge release mechanism to release the cartridge's concentrated solution into the container. As the dispenser's cap is tightened to the container, the dispenser's sleeve is forced downwards to engage the cartridge's snap portion and force the snap portion to disengage from the cartridge. The reservoir is therefore opened and its contents exit into the container's interior. As the dispenser's cap is disengaged from the container, the dispenser's sleeve is forced upwards, bringing the snap portion back to the cartridge and closing the reservoir.

Dispenser System

A system for dispensing a personal care fluid, such as a hand soap or the like. The system includes a dispenser and a refill cartridge. The dispenser includes a dispenser body having a refill cavity and a dispenser lid configured to be coupled to the dispenser body. There may be a pump sub-system mounted to the dispenser lid, or alternatively the personal care fluid may be dispensed by squeezing the dispenser and refill cartridge. The refill cartridge is configured for slidable insertion into and removal from the refill cavity of the dispenser body. The personal care fluid system is designed so that a user can readily and easily change out/replace the refill cartridge for use with a common dispenser, dispenser lid, and pump sub-system.

Nebulizer and reservoir

A reservoir for a nebulizer includes: a tank or bag containing multiple doses of a fluid to be nebulized, and an indicator device for counting or indicating a number of uses performed or still possible with the reservoir, where at least one of: the reservoir includes a connector for fluidically connecting the tank or bag with the nebulizer, the indicator device is actuated by moving the connector relative to the tank or bag, and the reservoir includes or forms an eccentrical linear guidance for a driving part for driving the indicator device.

Dual compartment container adapter

An adapter receives two separate fluids from a container having two separate fluid compartments and combines the fluids into a single fluid stream for delivery to a spray fluid dispenser. The adapter comprises a unitary housing having a first open end for fluid connection to the container and a second open end for fluid connection to the spray fluid dispenser. The housing defines a manifold forming a fluid passageway therein between the first end and the second end. The manifold includes two separate first conduits formed at the first end. Each of the first conduits is connected to a respective one of the fluid compartments. The manifold further includes a second conduit in fluid communication with the second end for delivery of the combined fluids to the spray fluid dispenser. The first conduits are each in fluid communication with the second conduit.

A dispenser includes a dispenser body that has an interior cavity in which a first chassis is configured to be translated relative to a second chassis along a central axis. The dispenser has a cartridge including a container and a pump that includes a drive flange defining a drive diameter. The dispenser includes an adaptor having a pair of legs that are configured to be coupled to the drive flange and the first chassis, and the adaptor and the drive flange are configured to prevent the drive flange from being translated independently of each other.

METHODS OF MAKING A FASTENING SYSTEM FOR A DISTRIBUTION MEMBER ON A THREADED NECK OF A RESERVOIR
20230149959 · 2023-05-18 ·

A fastening system for fastening a distribution member, such as a pump, on a neck of a reservoir to form a distributor for a fluid product includes a fastening ring and a rigid collar, the ring including a skirt intended to be engaged around the neck. The skirt includes articulated fastening tabs angled outwards with respect to a central axis X of the ring, and the collar is able to be moved with respect to the skirt and engaged around the skirt so as to fold back the articulated tabs to a radial alignment with the axis X. The ring with the collar is then able to be assembled on the neck and able to be disassembled from the neck without relative movement between the ring and the collar, and the articulated tabs have an internal fastening means that can engage with an external fastening means of the neck.
