The gasket includes at least one biasing portion that is flexible in an insertion direction of the fluid containing cartridge when the fluid containing cartridge is received in the cartridge reservoir. The at least one biasing portion of the gasket facilitates air flow from the cartridge reservoir while flexing in the insertion direction.

Two-part dispensing closure system with internal seal and methods of using the same

A dispensing closure system includes an upper closure portion and a lower closure portion including an axial flow conduit and a vent conduit. The upper closure portion is axially movable relative to lower closure portion between shipping and dispensing positions. A seal is disposed on the lower closure portion over the flow and vent conduits. A peripheral spacing strip is removably secured to the upper closure portion and engages with either the lower closure or the outside of the container to prevent movement. A piercing probe includes piercing elements in alignment with the flow and vent conduits for piercing the seal. In the shipping position, the piercing elements are spaced from the seal. However, when the spacing strip is removed and the upper closure portion is axially moved to the dispensing position, the piercing elements pierce the seal to open the flow conduit and the vent conduit.

TRIGGER SPRAYER ASSEMBLY WITH IMPROVED ASSEMBLY PROCESS

A method of assembling a trigger sprayer assembly includes providing an engine having a piston chamber and a fluid passage that is fluidly coupled to the piston chamber, the fluid passage extending from an input portion to an output portion. The method further includes inserting a piston component into the piston chamber, and coupling a trigger lever to the engine and the piston component. Pivoting the trigger lever relative to the engine pushes and pulls the piston component within the piston chamber to drive fluid from the input portion to the output portion of the fluid passage. The method further includes coupling a shroud to the engine, where the coupling comprises positioning a rail protrusion of the engine within a corresponding recess formed in the shroud, and inserting a shelf extending from an interior surface of the shroud into a pair of receiving clips extending from the engine.

It consists of: an upper and tubular part of the container (2) which has a neck (3) and an inner and lower thread (8); a hermetically sealed capsule (10), which contains a first component (100), which forms a dual component liquid (100-101); a device for support and disruption (20), which upholds the capsule (10) between stops (6) located in the upper and tubular part of the container (2) and upper cutting edges (17) of this device (20); a lower and bigger part of the container (30) which stores a second component (101) that contains an upper opening (33), within which the device (20) is located and equipped with an outer and upper thread (34) which, originally, is partially screwed on the inner and lower thread (8) of the upper part of the container (2); sealing rings (40), (50); and an auxiliary device for application of the dual component product (60), whose base lies on the neck (3) and with the capsule (10) crossed by the dip tube (61) and arranged within and along the lower and bigger part of the container (30) and immersed in the second component (101) which is stored in this lower container.
