11161675 · 2021-11-02 · ·

The present disclosure provides a new and innovative container system for mixing and dispensing a solution, such as a cleaning solution, that includes a container, dispenser, and a cartridge. The cartridge includes a reservoir containing a concentrated solution and a snap portion that closes the reservoir. The dispenser includes a sleeve that engages with the snap portion as part of a cartridge release mechanism to release the cartridge's concentrated solution into the container. As the dispenser's cap is tightened to the container, the dispenser's sleeve is forced downwards to engage the cartridge's snap portion and force the snap portion to disengage from the cartridge. The reservoir is therefore opened and its contents exit into the container's interior. As the dispenser's cap is disengaged from the container, the dispenser's sleeve is forced upwards, bringing the snap portion back to the cartridge and closing the reservoir.

A dispensing device for multiphase liquids, including a closed casing defining a chamber to contain one or more substances, a multiphase liquid including first and second components within the chamber, of different and immiscible density, within the chamber to form, at least when the multiphase liquid is at rest, an interface surface delimiting phasic components, a dispenser including a cannula defining a first extension direction skewed relative to the ground when the device is in use to access the multiphase liquid, and an expulsion mechanism on the top of the casing, operatively connected to the cannula to pump the multiphase liquid from the chamber outwards, the cannula has a plurality of first accesses arranged on planes spaced along the first direction of extension so at least two first accesses are separated from the interface surface and the expulsion mechanism simultaneously pumps the first and second components.

Dual compartment container adapter

An adapter receives two separate fluids from a container having two separate fluid compartments and combines the fluids into a single fluid stream for delivery to a spray fluid dispenser. The adapter comprises a unitary housing having a first open end for fluid connection to the container and a second open end for fluid connection to the spray fluid dispenser. The housing defines a manifold forming a fluid passageway therein between the first end and the second end. The manifold includes two separate first conduits formed at the first end. Each of the first conduits is connected to a respective one of the fluid compartments. The manifold further includes a second conduit in fluid communication with the second end for delivery of the combined fluids to the spray fluid dispenser. The first conduits are each in fluid communication with the second conduit.

DISPENSING ASSEMBLY INCLUDING AN ADDITIVE MIXING DEVICE

A dispensing system includes a container containing a flowable base formulation to be dispensed, an additive mixing device, and an actuable pump engine which draws the flowable base formulation from the container and pumps it through the mixing device. The additive mixing device includes a body with an internal cavity, an additive ingredient within the cavity, and a flow path/mixing chamber between an input and an output. With each pump of the device the additive ingredient is introduced into, and mixed with, a flow of the base formulation traveling through the mixing device. Multiple additive mixing devices may be interchangeable for different formulations, and the mixing devices may be refillable.

Distance indicators for medicinal spray devices

The present invention is directed to a spray applicator for spraying a tissue treatment medicant onto a tissue that has a container containing the medicant and is positioned at a proximal end of the spray applicator; a spray tip positioned at a distal end of the spray applicator; a cannula connecting the container with the spray tip; an actuatable dispensing mechanism at a proximal end of the applicator to express the medicant from the container through the cannula and through the spray tip toward the tissue; an optional pressurized gas source discharging a gas through the cannula in the vicinity of the spray tip or inside the spray tip; and a distance indicator that provides indicia of the distance between the spray tip and the tissue but does not prevent positioning the spray tip closer to the tissue than a defined distance for the distance indicator.

Dispenser
