NASAL SPECIMEN COLLECTION SYSTEM
An apparatus for collecting a nasal specimen includes a device body with a nozzle at a distal end of the device body. The nozzle is configured to interface with a nasal cavity. The apparatus further includes an irrigation path and a collection path within the device body. The collection path may be separate from the irrigation path. The irrigation path is configured to direct a fluid from an irrigation chamber into the nasal cavity in order to dislodge a sample from the nasal cavity. When the fluid flows back out of the nasal cavity, the collection path is configured to direct at least a portion of the fluid and the sample dislodged from the nasal cavity into a collection chamber.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR BATHING NOSE AND SINUS PASSAGES
A system and method for delivering a bathing liquid via a nostril of a face-down user maintains a column of the liquid in prolonged and predictable contact with the nasal and sinus mucosa, and creates turbulence in the column of liquid within the user's nasal cavity to enhance removal of debris from walls of the nasal cavity. A head orientation unit attaches to the user's head and includes an angle monitoring unit to provide an indication of the angular orientation of the user's head as it turns to optimize delivery of the liquid to target head structures. A liquid supply delivers the liquid through the user's nostrils to one or more head structures as a function of the angular orientation indication and at a pressure and flow rate that maintains a constant volume of liquid in the nasal and sinus cavities. Indicia on the angle monitoring unit permit the user to orient his/her head to predetermined angular positions.
Nasal Irrigation Apparatus and Kit
An apparatus for nasal irrigation comprising a resiliently compressible bottle component and a spout having a proximal end for demountable engagement with the bottle component. The distal end of the spout may be molded for sealable engagement with a user's nostril. Alternatively, the distal end of the spout may be threaded for demountable sealable engagement with a nasal tip molded for sealable engagement with a user's nostril. The tip may be configured for delivering a solution in the form of a stream, or a spray, or a misting. A kit comprising the nasal irrigation apparatus and one or more selected volumes of one or more nasal irrigation solutions. The kit may additionally comprise one or more nasal tips. The nasal irrigation solution may comprise one or more of an antibiotic, an antihistamine, a steroid, a vasoconstrictor, an emollient, and an ion.

NASAL RINSING CAP FOR BOTTLES
Cap for bottle for rinsing nose, suitable for standard water bottle. The device comprises a body portion to be attached to the top of the bottle, comprising a cylindrical void for the threaded portion of the bottle, and one-way fluid valve attached to a void extending from the cylindrical void through the body portion. The body portion also includes one-way air valve to allow the entry of air into the bottle because of the negative pressure in it. A top portion is removably or openably attached to the body portion, comprising tubular opening starting near the body portion and extending through the top portion, wherein the top portion is configured so that it has a tip to be contacted with the user's nasal cavities and the top portion has as pressure zone for closing the fluid fluid valve by applying a pressure to said pressure zone.
ELECTRONIC ASPIRATOR
An aspirator including an impeller driven by a driving component to create a suction through a fluid inlet; a housing surrounding the impeller; and a disposable tip. The disposable tip is removeably couplable to the housing at the fluid inlet, defines a fluid intake port in fluid communication with the outside environment and the fluid inlet, and has an aspirated bodily fluid collection region that collects and retains aspirated bodily fluids drawn into the disposable tip by the impeller's suction.

Nasal irrigation assembly and system
An assembly for nasal irrigation for the handheld irrigation of a user's nasal cavity comprising a housing with a refill chamber containing irrigating fluid, an applicator, an actuator for forcing irrigating fluid from the refill chamber through the applicator into the user's nasal cavity during operation, and a solution port for refilling the refill chamber. Some embodiments of the present invention may further comprise a system for nasal irrigation that includes the assembly for nasal irrigation or handheld irrigator, as well as a solution assembly structured for dispensing irrigating fluid to the handheld irrigator, a docking station for removably housing the handheld irrigator, a solution assembly and a refill control, including a check valve.
