MULTI-PORT DISPENSING DEVICE
20200016613 · 2020-01-16 ·

A multi-port dispensing device has a manifold with a top, a bottom, sides, and ends. An inlet conduit and a handle are connected to the manifold with the inlet conduit in communication with an inlet port in the manifold. A plurality of outlet conduits are connected to the manifold with each outlet conduit in communication with an outlet port in the manifold. A bottle or a nozzle are connected to the outlet ports. A shut-off valve on the bottle or outlet conduit permits and prevents flow from the manifold through the outlet conduits.

MULTI RESERVOIR DISPENSER

A multi reservoir dispenser includes a first reservoir for holding a first fluid and a second reservoir for holding a second fluid. The dispenser further includes first pump mechanism that includes a first displaceable plunger and a first plunger cavity that is disposed along a first flow path for receiving the first fluid and a second displaceable plunger and a second plunger cavity for receiving the second fluid. An actuator includes a selector and an actuator that are movable between: (a) a first position in which only the first plunger of the pump mechanism is actuated for discharging only the first fluid through a first orifice of a fluid dispensing manifold by causing the first fluid to flow along a first flow path; and (b) a second position in which only the second plunger of the pump mechanism is actuated for discharging only the second fluid through a second orifice of the fluid dispensing manifold by causing the second fluid to flow along a second flow path.

Location systems and methods for locating paint and other markings on a surface are described. More specifically, but not exclusively, the disclosure relates to smart paint stick devices and methods of use in locating and marking buried utility lines or other buried objects. One system for locating a buried object may include a buried object locator and a paint stick. The locator may include a tracking component configured to detect a location of a buried object. The paint stick may be configured to cause a paint container to dispense paint at a first position associated with the location of the buried object. The paint stick may include a position determination component configured to transmit one or more range vector signals that are detected by the tracking component. Sensors may be used to determine when paint is dispensed from a paint container, and to determine a color of the paint or a type of a marking.
