Slurry spraying mask and slurry spraying jig
A slurry spraying mask includes a holding portion and a mask portion. The holding portion includes a holding portion opening. The mask portion includes a first layer and a second layer. The first layer includes a first tapered structure, the second layer includes a second tapered structure. The first tapered structure and the second tapered structure are arranged coaxially. A gap exists between the first layer and the second layer. The apex of the first tapered structure includes a first aperture, the apex of the second tapered structure includes a second aperture, and the second aperture is overlapped with the first aperture. The apex of the second tapered structure passes through the holding portion opening such that the mask portion is localized to the holding portion.
Method of manufacturing gas turbine engine element having at least one elongated opening
A method of manufacturing a gas turbine engine element, for example a shroud segment. An insert has at least one elongated feature received in a mold cavity. A powder injection molding feedstock is injected. When the green part is disengaged from the mold, each elongated feature is slid out of the green part to define a respective elongated passage. The cross-sectional dimension of the elongated feature may be 0.020 inches or less, and/or a ratio between the length and cross-sectional dimension of the elongated feature may be at least 25. The method may include, after debinding and sintering, projecting a coating material while defining an obstruction between source of coating material and the open end of each elongated feature with a shoulder of the element to prevent the coating material from reaching the open end, followed by machining to remove at least a part of the shoulder.

COMPOSITION
A composition comprising; a) at least one homopolymer or copolymer of vinyl acetate; and b) at least one softener.
Wheel rim guard
A wheel rim guard includes a body having an outer surface and an inner surface each radiating from a central point and the outer surface and the inner surface each co-terminating and defining a circumferential peripheral edge. The guard also includes a returnably-resilient seal disposed along the circumferential peripheral edge, the seal engaging a wheel rim berm. The guard also includes a handle depending from the outer surface of the body.

Methods for applying materials around protuberances
A method of applying material to a workpiece around a protuberance, extending from the workpiece, comprises advancing a template toward the workpiece to insert the protuberance into a positioning opening, located in a first portion of the template. The method also comprises removably attaching at least a second portion to the workpiece and separating the first portion of the template from the second portion along an interface while at least the second portion remains attached to the workpiece. The method further comprises applying the material to the workpiece around the protuberance such that the material overlaps a second inner peripheral edge of the second portion of the template, but does not overlap a visual material-placement indicator. The method also comprises detaching the second portion of the template from the workpiece.
COATING CARRIER ASSEMBLY AND COATING DEVICE
A coating carrier assembly for supporting a to-be-plated component includes at least one supporting unit. Each of the at least one supporting unit includes a first supporting portion, a second supporting portion, and at least two ribbed plates. An annular groove is defined between the first supporting portion and the second supporting portion. The at least two ribbed plates are formed in the annular groove and connected to the first supporting portion and the second supporting portion. Each of the at least two ribbed plates comprises an overflow plating groove facing the to-be-plated component. The overflow plating groove is connected to the annular groove. The disclosure also relates to a coating device. The coating carrier assembly and the coating device can obtain a coating without shielding traces.
FLUID DISPENSING AND CURING SYSTEM
A robotic system for applying a volatile fluid to a work-piece comprising a support structure configured to mount at least one spray nozzle while facilitating motion of the nozzle in multiple degrees of freedom. An encoder senses a position of the spray nozzle and issues a position signal indicative thereof. A pneumatically-driven motor effects displacement of the spray nozzle on the support structure along each degree of freedom. A controller disposed outside the boundaries defined by the structural support, is responsive to the position signals for controlling the pneumatically-driven motor to displace the spray nozzle while dispensing the volatile fluid. The pneumatically driven motor and the isolated spatial position of the controller prohibits a source of ignition for the volatile fluid sprayed by the nozzle.
Marking paint applicator apparatus
A marking paint applicator apparatus is disclosed. The marking paint application may include an elongated support structure and a trigger mechanism, a receptacle for holding paint, and an actuating mechanism for selectively controlling release of the paint.
