Paint shield
Embodiments are disclosed for an apparatus that enables the user to paint a surface and keep the paint focused in the desired area intended to receive the paint and minimize overspray. The disclosed apparatus is a paint shield. The paint shield includes an elongated planar body, a right fin, a left fin, and one or more reinforcing ridges that extend along the planar body. The paint shield can include an attached or attachable handle and the handle can rotate. The user may adjust the angle of the right fin and the left fin to provide additional protection from the side to protect a surface area from receiving any paint and then orient the back surface of the planar body against a surface to be painted. Once the paint shield is positioned, while holding the paint shield using the handle, the user paints the area not covered by the paint shield. The paint shield protects the surface that is covered by the paint shield so that no or minimal paint is deposited on that surface.
FLOW DIRECTING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING SYSTEM
An additive manufacturing (AM) system includes a housing defining a chamber, a build platform disposed within the chamber, and an upper gas inlet configured to supply an upper gas flow in a first direction parallel to the build platform. The AM system includes a lower gas inlet disposed in the chamber and configured to supply a lower gas flow in a second direction toward a bottom wall of the chamber, and a flow directing system configured to receive the lower gas flow and redirect the lower gas flow in the first direction parallel to the build platform. The AM system includes one or more gas delivery devices fluidly coupled to the upper and lower gas inlets and configured to regulate one or more flow characteristics of the upper and lower gas flows and a gas outlet configured to discharge the upper and lower gas flows from the chamber.

COATING DEVICE
A coating device according to one embodiment of the present invention is a device for coating, with a paint, a target surface which is at least a part of a wall surface of a building, and comprises: a first movement part that can move in the vertical direction in accordance with a change in the length of a wire by driving of a winch drum; and a spraying part that can move in the left or right direction along the first movement part, and directly sprays the paint on the target surface or sprays the paint on a coating roller that rotates in contact with the target surface, such that a range from a predetermined left line to a predetermined right line of the target surface with reference to the left and right directions can be coated with the paint.

Sprinkler shield technology
A tool including a deflector, a rod comprising a first end and a second end, and a spring configured to pivot the deflector from a first position to a second position when compressed. In many embodiments, the rod can be coupled to the deflector at the first end. Other embodiments of related apparatuses are also provided.
Corner Spray Shield Apparatus
A corner spray shield apparatus for easily spraying inside and outside corners while painting includes a handle having a handle proximal end and a handle distal end. An arm is coupled to the handle. The arm is coupled to the handle distal end. A shield is pivotably coupled to the arm. The shield lies parallel and adjacent to the arm extension portion. The shield is V-shaped and has an outer shield edge forming a right angle and an inner shield edge forming a right angle. The outer shield edge engages an inside corner between two walls and the inner shield edge engages an outside corner between two walls. A pivot rod is coupled to the shield. The pivot rod is fixedly coupled to the shield and pivotably coupled to a pivot aperture extending through an arm extension portion of the arm.
