Each leaflet includes) at least two polymers along at least one portion of the leaflet, and each leaflet has a composition gradient of each of the at least two polymers along at least one portion of the leaflet.
TRANSFER MEMBER FOR PRINTING SYSTEMS
There is disclosed a layered article that can be used in indirect printing, in analog or digital processes. The layered article, when configured as a transfer member, may serve to receive an ink in any form, allow the ink to be treated so as to form an ink image, and permit the application of the ink image on a substrate. The transfer member comprises a support layer and an imaging layer, which may be formed of a silicon matrix including dispersed carbon black particles. Methods for preparing the same are also disclosed.
SPRAY NOZZLE ARRANGEMENT
An arrangement for spraying a fluid to a piece of material, such as a web or strip, has a chamber through which the material runs, and an applicator (15) which is configured to spray the fluid on the material. The applicator includes at least a first and a second valve (16, 16a, 16b, 16c) arranged within the chamber, each valve having a longitudinal axis, and each valve comprising a spray nozzle (17, 17a, 17b, 17c). Each spray nozzle has an elongated opening extending along an axis. The longitudinal axis of the valve and the axis of the corresponding nozzle span a plane and the at least said first valve and said second valve are arranged spaced on a common axis (CA) running through a center point of each valve. The plane is inclined in relation to the common axis.
ARRANGEMENT AT SPRAY NOZZLE CHAMBER
A chamber for fluid application to a piece of material (M), such as a web or strip arranged to nm in the chamber (10), has a fluid applicator (2) for fluid application to the material. It further includes an inlet (11a) through which the material is fed into the chamber (10), an outlet (11b) through which the material exits the chamber (10), an outlet passage device (15) arranged at the outlet (11b) and configured to form an outlet fluid sealing of the chamber, and an inlet passage device (16) arranged at the inlet (11a) and configured to form an inlet fluid sealing of the chamber.
DEVICE TO FACILITATE PAINTING OF MOLDING
A device to facilitate painting of a molding, the device including a base having a bottom surface to contact an external surface, and a plurality of pyramid portions to extend away from a top surface of the base, such that the plurality of pyramid portions are linearly disposed along the base to form a plurality of notches between adjacent pyramid portions.
Process and device for preparing laser PVC
The present invention discloses a process and device for preparing laser PVC. The device includes an upper transmission roller, a support mechanism, a spraying mechanism, an impurity removal mechanism, and a lower transmission roller; the upper transmission roller is disposed above the lower transmission roller, and the two are configured to implement delivery of a PVC film at a station for preparing a laser layer by spraying; the support mechanism is disposed between the upper transmission roller and the lower transmission roller and is in contact with a back surface of the PVC film, and the spraying mechanism is disposed opposite to the support mechanism; and a curing mechanism is disposed in a fitting manner at the coating position; and the impurity removal mechanism is disposed at a front end of the spraying mechanism.
APPARATUS FOR COATING A SURFACE WITH INDIVIDUAL PARTICLES
The disclosure relates to a coating apparatus for applying a monolayer layer of particles to a receiving surface. The apparatus comprises a pressurized air source, an application chamber partially bounded by the receiving surface into which an air stream is delivered by the air source, an air return path for returning air from the application chamber to an intake of the air source to form an air circulation loop, and a dosing device for introducing particles to be coated onto the receiving surface into the air circulation loop, a particle deflector being positioned in the path of the air stream to break up agglomerated particles carried by the air stream prior to coating the receiving surface with the particles. A method of applying a layer of particles is also provided, as well as printing systems benefiting from the present coating apparatus.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR APPLYING MATERIALS TO MEDICAL DEVICES
A method for applying a predetermined pattern of material onto an elongate tubular substrate includes securing a first portion of an elongate tube having a non-circular outer perimeter to an engagement member configured to be rotated by a first motor, such that the elongate tube can be rotated in unison with the engagement member, operating the first motor to rotate the elongate tube, operating a second motor of to change the relative displacement between the elongate tube and a dispensing conduit along a longitudinal axis of the elongate tube, and expelling a conductive adhesive from a fluid dispenser through the dispensing conduit to form a predetermined pattern of the conductive adhesive on a surface of the elongate tube, the predetermined pattern of the conductive adhesive covering at least 180 degrees of the surface along the non-circular outer perimeter over a width of at least two millimeters along the longitudinal axis.
Methods for preparing compositions comprising carbon black
There are disclosed curable elastomeric compositions comprising at least one reactive curable silicone pre-polymer capable of forming a silicone elastomer upon curing thereof, and a plurality of hydrophilic carbon black particles dispersed therein, as well as their corresponding cured products. Such compositions, once cured, can be used for the preparation of numerous articles of wide industrial applicability.
Integrated Automation of Paint Processes Incorporating Arrayed Painting and Inkjet Printing
Surface treatment of a tubular surface defining an axis extending from a first surface end to a second surface end includes partially surrounding the tubular surface, at a first position, with a first set of treating units, with the treating units arranged in a first arcuate array. Furthermore, each treating unit is configured to include a plurality of first applicator heads. In some examples, a position of each of the plurality of first applicator heads is determined relative to the tubular surface.
