Multiple-nozzle defined edge tool
Systems apply a material (e.g., adhesive) to an article (e.g., a component in an article of footwear) with a multiple-nozzle tool. A first nozzle of the multiple-nozzle tool is effective to provide an edge application of the material that is consistent in application of the material. A second nozzle of the multiple-nozzle tool is effective to provide a greater material coverage application than the first nozzle. The second nozzle may be implemented to apply the material at an interior area from the edge at which the first nozzle applies the material, in an exemplary aspect.
Fiber-wrapped smokeless tobacco product
A fiber-wrapped smokeless tobacco product includes smokeless tobacco and a plurality of polymeric fibers surrounding the smokeless tobacco. The polymeric fibers can have a basis weight of 5 gsm or less and a diameter of less than 100 microns. In some cases, the polymeric fibers are melt-blown polymeric fibers. In some cases, the polymeric fibers are centrifugal force spun polymeric fibers. A method of preparing a fiber-wrapped smokeless tobacco product includes melt-blowing or centrifugal force spinning a plurality of polymeric fibers to create an polymer deposition zone and passing a body comprising smokeless tobacco through the polymer deposition zone. In some cases, an electrostatic charge can be applied to the plurality of polymeric fibers, the body, or a combination thereof. In some cases, a spin is applied to the body when passing through the polymer deposition zone.
Shear stable lamination adhesive with spray applied activator
An adhesive application apparatus is provided. The apparatus uses a rolled on adhesive applied to a substrate. After roll application, an adhesive activator is sprayed onto the substrate. By spraying an activator onto the substrate after the adhesive is applied, the adhesive may be made tacky for adhesion, but the adhesive used for rolling may be highly stable and slow to dry/cure without said activator, which enhances rolled application effectiveness.
THC BEVERAGE CONTAINER APPARATUS AND METHOD OF USE THEREOF
The invention comprises a method and apparatus for holding a Cannabis product, such as a beverage container having a resealable closure that remains affixed to the beverage container when in both an open position and a closed position, where a cavity within the container comprises at least two servings of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). The resealable closure optionally includes a slideable/rotatable element that is slideable/rotatable along a horizontal plane relative to an upper surface of the beverage container, the slideable/rotatable closure element alternatingly closing an opening in the lid when in a first position and allowing access through the opening when in a second position. The resealable container in combination with graphical THC serving size indicators allows a consumer to consume a known amount of THC.
BLOCKING METHOD
A method of applying a blocking composition (116) on a substrate for an assay (20) comprises: providing a substrate for an assay (20), wherein the substrate for an assay comprises a solid substrate provided with a plurality of discrete spots of a biological material on a surface thereof; and spraying the blocking composition (116) onto the substrate (20) as particles or droplets having a diameter being less than the diameter of the printed spots of biological material.
DISSOLVABLE THC BEVERAGE TABLET APPARATUS
The invention comprises an apparatus, comprising: (1) a dissolvable tablet, comprising: a support matrix, the support matrix comprising at least two percent by mass a gassing agent, the gassing agent comprising at least one of: a carbonic acid, H.sub.2CO.sub.3; a bicarbonate, HCO.sub.3; a bicarbonate salt; a carbonate, CO.sub.3.sup.2−; and a carbonate salt; and (2) at least one milligram of tetrahydrocannabinol, where the dissolvable tablet optionally includes an acid and a buffer at least partially separating the gassing agent and the acid, where the tetrahydrocannabinol is blended into the support matrix of the dissolvable tablet prior to formation of the dissolvable tablet and/or is infused into a pre-made tablet comprising the support matrix.
LIQUID NITROGEN DISPENSING HEAD
An apparatus, system, device, and the like, for a liquid nitrogen dispensing head that may be used in a system for cooling aggregate, such as may be found in a batch plant involved in producing concrete. The dispensing head is positioned over a conveyor belt that conveys aggregate to a mixing apparatus to produce concrete. The head dispenses liquid nitrogen onto the aggregate to cool the aggregate and may include interior chambers separated by one or more baffles. The chambers may reduce the pressure of the liquid nitrogen onto the aggregate in relation to the flow pressure of the liquid nitrogen entering the dispensing head. In another example, an assembly may include sidewalls that extend to the aggregate on either side of the head to form a cooling tunnel through which the aggregate is conveyed and is exposed to the liquid nitrogen being dispensed from the head.
Method for producing rare-earth magnets, and rare-earth-compound application device
When a slurry s obtained by dispersing a rare-earth-compound powder in a solvent is applied to sintered magnet bodies m, and dried to remove the solvent in the slurry and cause the surfaces of the sintered magnet bodies to be coated with the powder, and the sintered magnet bodies coated with the powder are heat treated to cause the rare-earth element to be absorbed by the sintered magnet bodies, the sintered magnet bodies m are warmed or heated before the slurry s is applied. As a result, the rare-earth-compound powder can be efficiently and uniformly applied to the surfaces of the sintered magnet bodies.
APPARATUS AND SYSTEMS FOR APPLYING A LIQUID CROP-PRESERVATIVE FORMULATION TO A CONTAINER
A method for treating a substrate with a volatile liquid, crop-preservative formulation includes transporting a predetermined quantity of the formulation from a reservoir to an injection device and applying the predetermined quantity to the substrate. The substrate may thereafter be in proximity to a crop to be treated by the vapor from the formulation. The substrate is most conveniently a portion of a container in which the crop is stored or shipped.
APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING SKIN CARE PACK
One aspect of the present disclosure relates to an apparatus for manufacturing a skin care pack. According to an aspect of the present invention, the apparatus for manufacturing a skin care pack may be provided, the apparatus containing: a housing for providing a working space for forming a skin care pack; a film moving module provided to be movable in one direction within the working space, and having a base on which a film is mounted; a molding machine provided to be movable within the working space in two directions perpendicular to the one direction, and including at least one nozzle module for discharging hydrogel to the base; and a controller for controlling movement of the film moving module and the nozzle module, and controlling discharge of the hydrogel from the molding machine.
