COLD SPRAY DEVICE
A cold spray device basically include at least a pedestal, a base plate, a motor, a spray gun, a high-pressure pipe and a rotating joint. The pedestal is configured to support a workpiece in a predetermined orientation. The base plate is disposed in a position away from the workpiece. The motor is arranged to cause the base plate to rotate about a rotational axis. The spray gun is mounted on the base plate so that a spray direction is directed toward the rotational axis. The high-pressure pipe guides a working gas to the spray gun. The rotating joint is provided to a base end of the high-pressure pipe. The high-pressure pipe is arranged along the rotational axis.
NOZZLE ASSEMBLY FOR CLEANING A VEHICLE SURFACE
The present disclosure provides a nozzle assembly including a unitary nozzle body having multiple flow channels therein. Spray nozzles are mounted to outlet ports of the flow channels, such as via a snap-fit connection. The spray nozzles can be keyed with the outlet ports to align them in a predetermined position and lock the spray nozzles and the nozzle body together radially. Vehicles and systems incorporating a nozzle assembly are also provided.
SPRAY GUN ALIGNMENT FOR PRECISION APPLICATION OF CONTAINER COATINGS
A spray gun alignment system precisely aligns a spray gun of a container spray machine for precision application of container coatings. The spray gun alignment system generates a spray gun alignment jig including a container holder adapter and a spray gun adapter. The container holder adapter is inserted into a container holder of the spray machine, and the spray gun adapter is fastened to the spray gun. The spray gun alignment jig is configured to position the spray gun in proper alignment with respect to the container holder.
System and method for active adhesive recirculation control
A method for controlling a recirculation pump assembly is disclosed. The method includes receiving a process-dependent characteristic and determining a recirculation flow rate of adhesive that flows to the recirculation pump assembly based on the process-dependent characteristic. The method further includes determining a recirculation pump speed of the recirculation pump assembly for pumping the adhesive to a supply channel using the recirculation flow rate, and adjusting an operating speed of the recirculation pump assembly to match the recirculation pump speed. A system and storage device for performing the above method are also disclosed.
Apparatus and method for cleaning edge director
The present disclosure relates to an apparatus and method for cleaning an edge director, and more particularly, to an edge director cleaning apparatus that includes two or more nozzle pipes arranged to be parallel to each other, nozzle tips respectively provided at first ends of the two or more nozzle pipes, fuel manifolds respectively connected to second ends of the two or more nozzle pipes, and a fixing guide configured to fix the nozzle pipes, wherein the nozzle tips extend in an oblique direction with respect to an extending direction of the nozzle pipes. When the apparatus and method for cleaning an edge director according to the present disclosure are used, devit can be safely removed without damage to the apparatus while reducing downtime.
TREATMENT MACHINE FOR A FLEXIBLE MATERIAL WEB, IN PARTICULAR A PLASTICS FILM, WHICH CAN BE PASSED THROUGH A TREATMENT FURNACE
A treatment machine for flexible material webs which can be passed through treatment furnaces is disclosed having at least two successive zones in an extraction direction (A) of the material web, a zone separation device in relation to the extraction direction (A) of the flexible material web. The zone separating device includes at least one air partitioning device (AC) having an injection device (AC-E) which extends transversely to the material web and is designed such that a gaseous fluid flow (S) extending up to the flexible material web is generated above it. The injection device (AC-E) is also designed such that the gaseous fluid flow exiting from the injection device (AC-E) impinges obliquely in the direction of the flexible material web and thus on the material web plane (E) formed by the material web at a blowing angle (α).
SPRAY GUN ADJUSTMENT SYSTEM
An improved device for adjusting spray guns in an IC spray machine. Adjustments may be done using electro-mechanical or pneumatic actuators, and may rotate the nozzles toward an evacuation hood for cleaning, etc. Two actuators are used per spray gun, one mechanically engaged to a slide which moves the gun in translation (traversing in the X dimension), one which is mechanically engaged to a bracket which in turn is mechanically engaged to the gun mount, so the gun may be either moved or rotated. In addition, a Z-axis beam allows control in depth by an additional actuator/motor.
System and method for applying material to a bicycle frame
A method for applying material to a bicycle frame includes determining, via a controller, at least one physical dimension of the bicycle frame. The method also includes determining, via the controller, a distance setting between at least two material applicators. In addition, the method includes determining, via the controller, a pattern size of material sprayed onto the bicycle frame by each of the at least two material applicators. Further, the method includes adjusting, via the controller, a position setting of the at least two material applicators based at least in part on the distance setting and pattern size. Moreover, the method includes applying, via the controller, material onto the bicycle frame through the at least two material applicators.
SPRAYING SYSTEM WITH SENSOR AIR SHIELD
A sensor air shield assembly includes a housing having a sensor mount. A sensor is supported on the sensor mount. The sensor has a lens. An air inlet is provided on the housing. An air passage is provided in the housing in communication with the air inlet. A discharge orifice is provided in the housing and in communication with the air passage. The discharge orifice is arranged on the housing in proximity to the sensor lens and directed such that air exiting the discharge orifice passes across the lens of the sensor.
VEHICLE CLEANER
A vehicle cleaner (1) includes: a cylinder (2) provided in an opening (101) formed in a part of a vehicle body panel (100) of a vehicle; a piston (3) supported to be movable forward and backward with respect to the cylinder (2); a nozzle holder (10) provided near the front end of the piston (3); a nozzle (4) which is supported by the nozzle holder (10) and which, with the piston (3) protruding from the opening (101), sprays a cleaning liquid onto a vehicle item to be cleaned; and a nozzle cover (20) which is provided on the front end of the nozzle holder (10) and which, with the piston (3) having been pulled back into the cylinder (2), closes the opening (101).
