Door painting stand system and method
An apparatus, system and method to assist in the painting of doors, specifically for a compact rack for door painting that holds one or more doors by attaching a strip end to the top and bottom edges of one or more doors, then mounting these to end arms on stands that allow the clear and easy rotation of said door(s), followed by the stacking of the doors for drying.
SPRAY RACK SYSTEM
A rack system for retaining and maneuvering items to be spray-coated, including car members configured to support the items to be spray-coated, multiple attachment devices configured to mate with the one or more car members and attach to the items to be spray-coated, a horizontal rail configured to support the one or more car members and to provide a channel for the one or more car members to move along a length of the horizontal rail.
WHEEL BOLT HOLE PROTECTION PLUG PLACING DEVICE
The present application provides a wheel bolt hole protection plug placing device, which includes a frame, a lifting cylinder, guiding shafts, high precision linear bearings, a flange, a connecting shaft, a roller way, a bracket, a first base, a first bearing, a first sleeve, a rotating cylinder with braking function, an end cap, a second base, a second bearing, a second sleeve, a shaft, first linear bearings, contactors, springs, a synchronous cam, a gland, a visual sensor, a mounting frame, a first linear guiding rail, a first guiding rail sliding seat, a first screw nut, a first screw, a first servo motor and so on.
Methods and systems for masking and racking metal pipe fittings during powder coating
Systems and methods for protecting threads of metal pipes while coating the metal pipes with a protective coating are disclosed herein. Innovative metal couplings are used to protect the threads while a protective coating is applied to the metal pipes. The couplings are reusable and result in multiple efficiency improvements over previous methods and systems. Benefits include elimination of plastic caps and reduced waste, improved flowthrough in the powder coating process, more efficient thermo transfer in the thermal chamber, and an increase in the overall capacity of the powder coating operation.
Support apparatus for part in painting process
Example embodiments relate to a component support device for supporting components when painting the components, the component support device including at least one support member for supporting one of the components and supported by a substantially vertical support mast. The support mast includes at least one lower portion and one upper portion which can be assembled and disassembled.
FIXTURE FOR PVD COATING OF SPADE BITS
A fixture assembly for supporting a workpiece having opposing side walls defining a notch. The fixture assembly includes a base and a first member extending from a surface of the base. The first member has an outward facing surface. A second member extends from the surface of the base. The first member is parallel to the first member and has an outward facing surface. At least one adjusting assembly is configured for moving at least one of the first member and the second member to adjust a distance between the outward facing surfaces of the first member and the second member wherein moving at least one of the first member and the second member increases the distance between the outward facing surfaces of the first and second members and causes the outward facing surfaces to engage the opposing side walls to clamp the workpiece to the first and second members.
MATERIAL HANDLING RACK, SYSTEM AND METHOD
A material handling rack, material handling system, powder coating system, and method utilizing the material handling system. The rack includes a series of tracks within which a series of movable track racks are disposed. In the material handling system, the tracks align with tracks of an adjacent rack to allow the track racks to be easily moved from one rack to another.
OVERSPRAY-FREE PAINT SYSTEM INCLUDING AGV/AMR-BASED FIXTURE LIFTING, POSITIOINING AND ORIENTING
A robotic lifting and orienting system for an overspray-free paint system includes: a base coupled to wheels; and an automated carrier coupled to the base. The automated carrier includes: a fixture assembly configured to hold an object to be painted; one or more manipulators configured to move the fixture assembly relative to a paint robot; a propulsion system connected to the wheels and configured to move the robotic lifting and orienting system; and a control module configured to control the one or more manipulators and the propulsion system to control positioning and orienting of the object relative to at least one of the paint robot and an overspray-free paint applicator of the paint robot.
Hinge brace for painting doors
A hinge brace for supporting doors to be painted is provided. The brace is connected to standard door hinge hardware using either the existing door hinge pin or a disposable pin of smaller diameter. By allowing the bracing of multiple doors at the hinge, the painter can more safely and efficiently prepare and paint multiple doors in one painting session. The hinge brace of the present invention accommodates supporting two or more doors for painting and saves time by not requiring the painter to remove door hinge hardware.
APPARATUS THAT SUPPORTS AN AIRCRAFT FUSELAGE WITHOUT EXTERIOR SURFACE CONTACT
An airframe handling apparatus is operable to support and move a partially assembled aircraft fuselage. The aircraft fuselage is incomplete, lacking a wing and landing gear. The apparatus is attachable to the aircraft fuselage in place of the wing and landing gear, utilizing wing attachment structures on the aircraft fuselage that are designed for flight loads. With the aircraft fuselage attached to the apparatus, the entire fuselage is supported on the apparatus that can be operated to move and manipulate the aircraft fuselage as if the wing and landing gear were present. With the apparatus attached to the aircraft fuselage, movement of the fuselage by the apparatus imparts no handling-induced internal loads on the aircraft fuselage, and maximizes unobstructed access to the exterior surface of the fuselage for painting and other surface preparations.
