Methods and Systems for Treating Osteoarthritis Using an Implantable Stimulator

A method of treating osteoarthritis includes an implantable stimulator generating stimulation sessions at a duty cycle that is less than 0.05 and applying the stimulation sessions by way of the central electrode and the annular electrode to a location within a patient that includes at least one of an acupoint labeled ST35, an acupoint labeled EX-LE-4, or a location on a line that intersects the acupoints labeled ST35 and EX-LE-4.

Muscle optimization device and method

A device and method are provided for therapy and treatment of biological tissue such as muscle, tendon, and ligament tissue, by use of a device and method in which therapeutic vibrational frequency resonance patterns are transmitted to tissues of a patient. The resonance frequencies originate from many resonance domains, including vitamins, minerals, herbs, amino acids, and fatty acids. Each domain includes therapeutic frequency resonance patterns. These resonance patterns may be passively excited and transmitted to a patient to enhance tissue function, to decrease the normal rehabilitation time of damaged tissue, and provide therapeutic benefits for muscle tissue dysfunction. Therapeutic frequency resonance patterns may also be actively excited by a delivery mechanism that uses electromagnetic or mechanical waves to interact with the device. The actively excited device transmits the therapeutic frequency resonance patterns to the patients for similar enhancements and therapeutic benefits.

The present invention discloses a wireless and self-contained earbud device that delivers an electronic signal to a precise and self-locating position within bilateral conchae in both ears of a human user. The earbud device comprises an earpiece housing and an electronics housing including a waveform source for generating a constant electronic signal. The electronics housing is included inside the earpiece housing and communicates wirelessly with one or more devices of a user. The constant electronic signal is transmitted from the electronics housing and is communicated to a precise and self-locating position within bilateral conchae in each ear of the user who is wearing the therapeutic earbud device for treating heroin addiction. The earbud device is made of a foam-like material that is self-fitting in the user's ear regardless of shape or size.

Methods for delivering pulsed electric current to living tissue

A patient treatment unit for delivering non-invasive pulsed energy to living tissue with a probe stimulus generator circuit configured to output, as a treatment signal, a sequence of DC electrical pulses at a controlled pulse frequency of about 20 kHz and having a pulse voltage defined by a variable supply voltage of the probe stimulus generator circuit. The unit includes primary and secondary probes for contacting a body, an intensity adjustment circuit configured to control the variable supply voltage, and an electronic timer display configured to display an elapsed time in decimal numbers in minute and second format. An electrical current of the pulses is in a range of 0.1-2 mA while the probes are contacting the body. An operating output voltage across the probes while conducting the treatment signal does not exceed a maximum operating output voltage of 165 VDC while the probes are contacting the body.

INTRAMUSCULAR STIMULATION NEEDLING DEVICE

An intramuscular stimulation needling device for chronic pain relief. The needling device can include a stepper motor, a needle, and a control unit. The needle can poke an affected muscle tissue and driven by a stepper motor in reciprocating manner. In each cycle, the needle moves a pre-determined distance forwardly in a first half cycle and retracts to original position in a second half cycle. The control unit can accelerate of the needle one or more times in the first half cycle at spaced intervals and decrease the velocity in the reverse pattern in the second half cycle.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR RESTORING HEATH VIA ENERGETIC FIELD

A device for providing an energetic field to promote the body's self-healing process comprises electronics immersed in a dialectric oil in a first enclosure which accelerate and spin an energetic current within a gas-filed glass tube. The tube protrudes through a small opening into a second large metal (e.g. copper)-lined patient enclosure, such that the energy emitted from the tube is directed toward a circular concave baffle covered in a densely woven fabric. A plastic sheet optionally protects the patient from arcing with the baffle. Seating/support is provided to properly position the patient; as well as seating for the practitioner/therapist who both positions the patient, and provides mental and emotional guidance, to optimize patient receptivity to treatment.
