Each coating apparatus comprises a conical member connected with the tubular barrel and at least one gas conduit connected to the tubular barrel for communicating gas into the tubular barrel. The at least one gas conduit contains a gas flow control valve connected thereto for controlling the volumetric flow rate of gas through the at least one gas conduit. Each coating apparatus further comprises at least one container for holding a coating material, an inlet conduit for communicating the coating material into the axial bore of the tubular barrel, and a plurality of gas nozzles connected to the tubular barrel for inducing spiraling gas flow through the axial bore of the tubular barrel.

A system for spraying a coating such as lacquer on the internal surface of a can body (2) comprising vacuum chuck gears (42) for each vacuum chuck (16). The vacuum chucks hold the can body as it rotates about a main process turret (10) and to a spray station (32, 34). A ring gear rotates independently of main turret rotation and further gearing connects the ring gear to a vacuum chuck drive motor (11). The spray system provides tight process control and allows flexibility of process revolutions or use of higher machine production speed.

A spray gun mount, and retrofit kit spray gun mount based thereon, and a method of retrofitting, adjusting and spraying based thereon, are structured that the motion of the spray gun occurs about a point of rotation located at the exact nozzle of the spray gun rather than at a location on the gun mount. An arcuate slot may be provided on a fixed mounting plate and extensions (partially threaded screws) pass through the arcuate slot. The extensions in turn are firmly attached to a movable gun mount plate to which the spray gun is affixed. In adjusting the spray gun, all that may be necessary is to loosen a fastener which holds the gun mount plate and gun from rotating relative to the fixed plate, rotating it relative to the fixed plate and fastening it back into place again.

The present disclosure relates to a process and a system for manufacturing an HSST tyre, as well as the HSST tyre manufactured by the same. The process for manufacturing an HSST tyre includes a cleaning step, a spraying step, and a forced-cooling step. The cleaning step includes an air-drying procedure for evaporating the isopropanol solution on the tyre to be treated with air-drying gases. The forced-cooling step is configured to forcibly cool the tyre to be treated that has been sprayed with the high molecular organic material. By means of accurate design for each step and procedure, the relying on operator's experience is eliminated and thus the performance stability of the HSST tyre is guaranteed. By means of the air-cooling procedure and the forced-cooling step, the time taken to manufacture an HSST tyre is substantially shortened, making it possible to produce the HSST tyre in a large scale.
