CLEANING APPARATUS
20180281032 · 2018-10-04 ·

A cleaning apparatus 1 includes: a pivot rotary shaft 8 attached with a nozzle 3; a first motor 14 for revolving and rotating the pivot rotary shaft 8 via an inner tube 7 and bevel gears 11 and 12; a second motor 16 for solely rotating an outer tube 15; and a control device 18 for controlling the operation of both the motors 14 and 16. The outer tube 15, and the pivot rotary shaft 8 and the nozzle 3 are operated together via the bevel gears 11 and 12. The first motor 14 is operated with the cleaning fluid W being sprayed from the nozzle 3 to rotate the nozzle 3 and the pivot rotary shaft 8, and the second motor 16 is operated at a required rotational frequency. Then, as a result of the outer tube 15 being rotated, the nozzle 3 is revolved while being inclined in a required direction without being rotated. This makes it possible to preferentially spray the cleaning fluid W onto required areas of the inner surface 2A of the tank 2. It is possible to suppress consumption of the cleaning fluid W and electric power, and efficiently clean the inner surface 2A of the tank 2.

NOZZLE FOR INFLATING A SPOUT FILM BAG AND METHOD FOR INFLATING A SPOUT FILM BAG
20180229876 · 2018-08-16 ·

The invention relates to a nozzle for inflating a spout film bag, the lateral surface of which nozzle is designed in such a way that the nozzle can be inserted at least partially into the spout of the spout film bag and also at least partially into the interior of the spout film bag, wherein the lateral surface of the part of the nozzle that can be inserted has a bulging design. The invention further relates to a method for inflating a spout film bag by using said nozzle, comprising the following steps: providing the nozzle; inserting the nozzle into the spout of the spout film bag and lowering the nozzle in the spout to a first position; after the first position has been reached, wherein the lateral surface of the inserted nozzle interacts with the internal form of the spout in such a way that the interior of the spout film bag is substantially sealed, introducing flushing or inflating air into the interior of the spout film bag by means of the nozzle.

APPLICATION APPARATUS

A coating material is uniformly applied on an inner wall surface of a container while preventing leakage of the coating material and an increase in an installation space. An application apparatus (10) that applies a coating material (L) on an inner wall surface of a container (C) includes: a spray gun (20) having a spray nozzle (22); an outgoing pipe (30) and a return pipe (33); a supply controller (50); a rotary driver (60); and a mover (70), wherein the outgoing pipe (30) and the return pipe (33) are each provided with a resilient-shape part (32, 35) capable of extending and contracting resiliently.

AUTOMATED SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR APPLYING A FLUID TO INTERIOR SURFACES OF AN AIRCRAFT FUSELAGE

Systems and methods are provided by which a treatment fluid (e.g., a liquid corrosion inhibitor) may be applied onto the interior surfaces of an aircraft fuselage which employ an automated guided vehicle (AGV) comprising a carriage assembly and a robotic spray system carried by the carriage assembly supported by a support platform positioned laterally of an aircraft fuselage in alignment with the cabin door opening thereof. The AGV may thus be deployable through the cabin door opening of the fuselage to a deployed position within the interior of the fuselage so as to be moveable along a longitudinal axis of the fuselage to allow the robotic spray assembly to spray the treatment fluid onto interior surfaces of the fuselage. A sealing door assembly located rearwardly of the AGV which is moveable relative to a door opening in the fuselage may also be provided so as to sealingly close the door opening of the fuselage when the AGV is deployed within the interior of the fuselage.

SPRAY COATING OF CANS
20180133735 · 2018-05-17 ·

A can body spraying machine comprises a can body spinning device, a spray gun for spraying a coating onto an interior of a can body mounted on the can body spinning device and a controller configured to cause the spray gun to switch when the can body spinning device is in a correct spraying position. A sensor coupled to the can body spinning device determines when the can body spinning device has undergone a predefined rotation following commencement of spraying and, in response to such determination, causes the spray gun to be switched off.

COATED PACKAGING PRODUCTS, SYSTEMS AND METHODS

In a method of forming a coated bag for pre-treating an item stored in the bag, a bag is provided, having a sidewall extending from a closed bottom end to an open top end and defining an interior surface of a cavity. The bag is expanded from a flattened condition to an expanded condition. At least one adhesive dispenser is inserted through the open top end of the bag into the cavity. An adhesive is applied from the at least one inserted adhesive dispenser to form an adhesive coating on the interior surface of the cavity. A particulate dispenser is inserted through the open top end of the bag into the cavity. A particulate is discharged from the inserted particulate dispenser to embed the particulate in the adhesive coating. The adhesive coating is dried to retain the embedded particulate on the interior surface of the sidewall.
