Painting method and painting facility
After completion of a preceding painting in a preceding painting area, by an action of a preceding painting robot, a painting object (object to be painted) is caused to be held together with a holder by a transfer section near two painting areas. In succession, with maintaining connection between the painting object and the holder, connection between an arm leading end portion of the preceding painting robot and the holder is released. Thereafter, by an action of a subsequent painting robot, an arm leading end portion of the subsequent painting robot with keeping its connection to the painting object is connected to the holder held to the transfer section. With this, in the course of transfer of the painting object between the painting robots for displacing the painting object relative to a spraying means, a relative positional relation between the arm leading portions of the painting robots and the painting object can be maintained same.
AGENT FOR TREATING WATER THAT CIRCULATES THROUGH WET PAINT BOOTH AND METHOD FOR TREATING WATER THAT CIRCULATES THROUGH WET PAINT BOOTH
To efficiently perform an adhesion reduction treatment of water that circulates through a wet paint booth which contains a solvent-based paint by adding a relatively small amount of chemical to the water without the need for another chemical except that the alkaline chemical is used for pH adjustment, that is, with only one chemical. An aluminum salt having a basicity of 60% or more and an alkaline chemical are added to water that circulates through a wet paint booth which contains a solvent-based paint. An adhesion reduction treatment of the solvent-based paint is performed at a pH of 7 or more and is preferably performed at a pH of 7.5 or more. Using a powder mixture produced by mixing a powder of the aluminum salt with a powder of the alkaline chemical facilitates the treatment.

PAINTING PLANTS WITH OVERSPRAY REMOVAL SYSTEMS
A painting plant may include: a painting booth; at least one overspray removal unit; a cleaning unit; and a conveyor. The painting plant may be further configured so that an air stream, when exiting the painting booth, passes through the at least one overspray removal unit. The at least one overspray removal unit may include a purification chamber configured to contain cleaning elements. The purification chamber may include an inlet for the air stream with the overspray, an outlet for the air stream after the air stream has passed through at least part of the cleaning elements, and a discharge outlet. The discharge outlet may be configured to discharge at least a portion of the cleaning elements from the purification chamber to the cleaning unit. The conveyor may be configured to transport at least a portion of the cleaning elements from the cleaning unit back to the purification chamber.

POWDER COATING BOOTH, POWDER COATING INSTALLATION AND METHOD FOR OPERATING THE POWDER COATING BOOTH
The powder coating booth according to the invention comprises booth walls (13-18) and a roof (30) which can be lowered between the booth walls (13-18), wherein a gap (60) is provided between the roof (30) and the booth walls (13-18). The roof (30) has compressed air nozzles (70) for spraying the booth walls (13-18). In addition, a supporting device (33-36) is provided, which supports the roof (30). In at least one of the booth walls (13 18) a vertical slot (61) is provided through which the supporting device (33-36) protrudes into the booth (1) and in which the supporting device (33-36) is movable. In addition, the booth comprises a bottom (19) with a suction (5, 6), which is connectable with the suction inlet (2.1) of a cyclone separator (2) via a suction pipe (7).
SPRAY APPLICATING LINE AND ASSEMBLY FOR PRODUCING A COATED PART AND INCLUDING MULTIPLE OVERSPRAY AND RECAPTURE/RECYCLE CONFIGURATIONS
An overspray spray capture structure integrated into a paint spray operation integrates at least one reception surface for receiving an overspray of the spray coating operation. The overspray is communicated through a merging location established between the receiving surfaces and adapted to being removed or recycled. The at least one reception surface further includes first and second oriented reception surfaces not limited to a pair of horizontal and vertical closed loop belt curtains which are traversable supported about a pair of spaced apart rotating shafts. The first and second reception surfaces can include traversing paper rolls for capturing the overspray therebetween at the merging location. Other variants include water curtain or vacuum removal assist assemblies for removing the overspray prior to it setting.
