Spray booth with carousel dry filter module
A spray booth especially adapted for painting operations having a dry filter module with features for allowing changing of the filters quickly and in a contained environment, which reduces exposure to non-authorized and non-properly-protected personnel. A carousel-like filter module flips a wall to move dirty filters into a containment space while placing clean filters in position to continue the painting process. The process and device in accordance with this invention is safe, repeatable, predictable, and capable of changing a large number of filters in a short period of time, for example, during lunch break or other short break in the painting operation.
FILTER MODULE FOR THE SEPARATION OF OVERSPRAY
A filter module, including a plurality of filter elements for separating overspray from an air flow, the filter module including a reusable and cleanable frame configured as a support structure for components for collecting overspray, and a plurality of components inserted into the frame for collecting overspray, wherein the components for collecting overspray are at least filter elements and linings in the frame, which are configured as disposable, single-use products the filter elements form at least a first filter stage, and all the surfaces of the frame which are exposed to the air flow upstream of the first filter stage are provided with the linings such that the surfaces of the frame are protected against overspray.
Coating apparatus including modular coating areas
A coating apparatus includes a first module and a second module constituting a coating area where a coating target is coated. The first module includes a first frame and a coating robot. The second module includes a second frame. When the first module and the second module are arranged to adjoin each other in a movement path direction in which the coating target relatively moves along the coating area, the first frame of the first module and the second frame of the second module that are arranged to adjoin each other are configured to be coupled together.

Method for operating a surface treatment installation, set of filter modules and surface treatment installation
In a method for operating a surface treatment installation, overspray produced in a coating booth is taken up by an air stream and carried to one or more one-way filter modules, in which overspray is separated. Once a limit loading with overspray is reached, a one-way filter module is exchanged for an empty one-way filter module. Depending on the nature and characteristics of the overspray, the one or more one-way filter module(s) may be chosen from a set of different one-way filter modules. A set of filter modules for use in a surface treatment installation is provided having various filter modules formed as exchangeable one-way structural units with a module housing and a filter unit. The module housings of the various filter modules have the same-connection module inlets and the same-connection module outlets and at least the filter units of two different filter modules are formed differently.
Filtering system, painting system, and method for operating a filtering system
In order to provide a filter system for separating off contaminants from a stream of untreated gas that contains contaminants that is of simple construction and is operable efficiently, it is proposed that the filter system should include the following: a base construction through which the stream of untreated gas is guidable and which includes at least one filter module receptacle for receiving at least one filter module, and at least one filter module which is selectively arrangeable on and/or in the at least one filter module receptacle and/or removable therefrom, wherein the at least one filter module includes a plurality of filter element receptacles for receiving a plurality of mutually independent filter elements.

AUTOMATED SEALANT APPLICATION TO ASSEMBLED HVAC DUCT COMPONENTS AND BLANKS FOR FORMING ASSEMBLED HVAC DUCT COMPONENTS
A robotic system is provided for repeatedly and reproducibly applying a sealant to a seam in an assembled HVAC duct component. The applied sealant has a predetermined location on the assembled HVAC duct component to seal the seam. An assembled HVAC duct component is thus provided having a robot applied sealant on at least one seam in the assembled HVAC duct component, wherein the applied sealant has at least one of a predetermined location, thickness or coverage. The robotically applied sealant can be applied to a blank for forming the assembled HVAC duct component, wherein the sealant is located at locations forming a seam in the assembled HVAC duct component.
Apparatus for withdrawing sprayed paint and withdrawal plate suitable therefor
The present invention relates to a withdrawal plate suitable for an apparatus for withdrawing a sprayed paint to solve a failure of a painting facility and a contamination problem due to paint sludge, which includes: a square frame constituted by left and right side frames 91, an upper frame 92, and a base frame 93; and slats 94 arranged at a predetermined interval within the square frame, in which the left and right side frames 91 facing each other are included in one direction, and the slat 94 is fixed the left and right side frames 91 in an oblique state so that a front is lifted up and moves down backwards when viewed from the side, and multiple slats are consecutively arranged at a predetermined interval in a vertical direction.
WORK PIECE PROCESSING ARRANGEMENTS
A workpiece processing arrangement comprises a spray booth (2) defining a work space (21), and operable to provide a controlled environment for spraying of material, a first oven (4) located adjacent a first end of the spray booth, the first oven defining an internal zone, and a second oven (5) located adjacent a second end of the spray booth, the second oven defining an internal zone (51). The arrangement also includes a transport rail (6) which extends from the internal zone (41) of the first oven (4), through the work space (21) of the spray booth (2) into the internal zone (51) of the second oven (5), the transport rail (6) being adapted for transport of a workpiece (10) between the work space (21) of the spray booth (2) to the internal zone of the first or second oven (4, 5). A corresponding method of processing a work piece in such an arrangement indicates the steps to be used when processing a first and a second workpiece The ovens may have both a baking and a curing zone. A ventilation system with an air curtain (23) may be included.
