Stimulation methods and apparatus
The present methods and apparatus can provide improved efficacy with improved tolerance. The methods and apparatus can be configured to alter the stimulus, which can decrease neural adaptation of the subject and provide an improved response. The acoustic stimulus can be delivered as a tone, which can make the stimulus more acceptable to the subject receiving the stimulus. The stimulus may comprise a varying stimulus in order to decrease neural adaptation to the stimulus. The stimulus can be varied by varying one or more of a duty cycle, a frequency, or a shape of the waveform. The waveform may comprise a plurality of individual pulses, in which the waveform varies among pulses of the plurality. Acoustic stimulation can be combined with electrical stimulation. The device may comprise a plurality of sensors to determine the response of the subject.
Device for acupuncture and moxibustion therapy and uses thereof
An acumoxa therapy device utilizes energy waves for preventing, alleviating or treating COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) coronavirus infection. In one embodiment, the device delivers energy in a non-invasive manner. In one embodiment, the device is configured to include an energy pin and one or more energy rings. In one embodiment, the device delivers sufficient energy to certain body parts such as acupoints to achieve an intervening and/or therapeutic effect. In one embodiment, the device maintains or improves general health, or alleviates or treats a subject with COVID-19 infection and one or more other conditions.
METHOD, SYSTEM, AND APPARATUS FOR DERMATOLOGICAL TREATMENT
An apparatus for treating dermatological tissue, including at least two pins configured to be inserted in dermatological tissue to deliver electromagnetic energy to target dermatological tissue, and an electrical signal generator electrically coupled to the at least two pins, and creating a pulsed electrical signal across the at least two pins.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROPRIOCEPTIVE STIMULATION TO PREVENT UNINTENTIONAL FALLS
Systems, devices, and methods are provided for reducing a risk of unintentional falls in a subject that is at risk for falls. The device includes a sensor and a stimulator. The sensor is configured to be positioned adjacent a body portion of the user that changes orientation when the user sits and stands. The sensor is also configured to emit an activation signal when the user stands and to emit a deactivation signal when the user sits or lies down. The stimulator is in communication with the sensor and is configured to be positioned adjacent one of a calf and a lower back of the user. The stimulator is configured to vibrate at a frequency that stimulates proprioceptors of the user without inducing muscle contractions upon receipt of the activation signal from the sensor and to cease vibration upon receipt of the deactivation signal from the sensor.
Methods and systems for treating autism
A method for treating autism is provided. The method includes presenting to affected subjects therapeutic content in the form of images or video in a virtual or augmented reality system and monitoring in real time the behaviors and responses of the subject to the therapy. The virtual or augmented reality system may further include audio, and the monitoring of the therapy may be achieved using one or more tracking sensors, such as a camera.
HANDHELD ACUPUNCTURE TAPPING DEVICE
A handheld acupuncture tapping device includes a case that is divided into a head and a handheld part. At least one control button is disposed on the outer surface of the case, and at least one light unit, a vibration unit, a control module, and a contact unit are disposed within the case. The control module is electrically connected to the light unit and the vibration unit for driving the light unit and the vibration unit to generate a light and a vibration signal respectively. Further, the user can control the control module by the control button to adjust the intensity of the light and the waveform, frequency and amplitude of the vibration signal. The contact unit is disposed in front of the light unit and the vibration unit, so that the light and the vibration signal are projected on the contact unit and transmitted to an outside. The user can use the light and the vibration signal generated by the handheld acupuncture tapping device to tap or massage the treatment part.
Method, system, and apparatus for dermatological treatment
Embodiments of dermatological cell treatment are described generally herein. Other embodiments may be described and claimed.

Wearable device that increases muscle strength
An improvement on a method and device of the first wearable device that increases muscle strength using a holding device containing nutrients. This invention is detailed in U.S. Pat. Nos. 8,617,590, 9,636,310, 9,510,988. With the addition of a light source module and/or a vibrating module and/or a magnetic module to this holding device, it has been found that the resulting device has a surprising and unexpected synergistic effect on muscle strength. This phenomenal increase in muscle strength translates into improved athletic performance. The resulting holding device may be in the form of a belt, locket headband, wrist band, ankle band, pedal device, helmet, or gloves.
