Weed Blocking Mini Conservatory
The Weed Blocking Mini Conservatory is a device which blocks weed, plant, root, and some predator encroachment. When connected to the light penetrating top, the invention allows a protected area for photosynthesis, seed and rooting cultures, with containers, mediums, and associated accessories and garden storage. The device functions as a hollow, washable, durable container in which both living and nonliving items can be enclosed. Its structure blends harmoniously with architecture and outdoor environments. It is safe for use around humans and pets. It is also adaptable to large scale garden use.
DEGRADABLE EXTRUDED NETTING MADE FROM POLYMER BLEND COMPOSITIONS
Degradable extruded nettings are provided. Degradable extruded nettings may include a plurality of interconnected strands, at least some of the strands being made from a polymeric blend, the polymeric blend including a polylactic acid polymer composition, polybutylene succinate, and a degradation additive, the degradation additive including a degrader in a carrier resin are provided. Grass sod and methods for preparing grass sod using such degradable extruded nettings are also provided.
Roof Runoff Water Control System
Roof runoff water control systems for a building with gutters and a downspout and buildings without gutters. Both systems employ a swale in the ground that is lined with rock filled bags that are opened and laid overlapped end-to-end. For the downspout, a closed bag filled with rock is placed under the downspout with open bags filled with rock laid overlapped end-to-end in the swale and overlapped downstream from the closed bag. For a building without gutters and having a drip line in the ground, open bags filled with rock are laid overlapped end-to-end in the swale. The swale and the open bags are aligned with the drip line.
Raised Bed Planter
A bed for planting in is disclosed. The bed includes panels for creating a frame. A liner, comprising a rip-resistant material, that fits within the frame and is attached thereto. Each panel includes spaces to access the liner. The material of the liner permits slits to be made in it without the slit expanding. Any slits made in the liner are located in the spaces within the panels. The liner is filled with grow medium. Plants are planted in the grow medium and grow out of the upper surface of the grow medium in the liner. Slits are placed in the liner, and plants are placed in the grow medium to grow through the slits. A method for creating a bed to plant in is also disclosed
ACTIVE POLYMER MATERIALS FOR GROWING MORE VIGOROUS, LARGER AND HEALTHIER CANNABIS PLANTS
The present invention provides compositions, kits and methods for growing more vigorous, larger and healthier cannabis plants, including from clone cuttings.
Plant Weed Preventer Enhancing Water and Heat Retention
A substantially rectangular and open bottom shield configured to be fitted around an in-ground plant at ground level as enabled by an elongated slit and central aperture. A peripheral wall perpendicular to an opaque top panel extends downward around at least 75% of the perimeter of the top panel. The top panel is inclined toward the central aperture through which water and fertilizer can flow toward the plant root system.
Garden Protection System
Systems and methods herein provide for garden protection. In one embodiment, a garden protection system includes a frame operable to suspend a shade cloth over a garden bed to protect underlying plants in the garden bed from inclement weather, and a housing mounted to the frame and comprising a moisture detector, a roller system, circuitry, a motor, a pulley system, a power supply, and a solar panel. The shade cloth is wrapped about the roller system, and the roller system is rotatably coupled to the pulley system. The moisture detector is operable to detect said inclement weather, and to automatically direct the motor to rotate the pulley system. And, the pulley system is operable to rotate the roller system to roll the shade cloth along a side of the garden protection system via roller brackets that are slidably affixed to the frame.
SECURING DEVICE
A securing device (10) for securing an article is disclosed. The securing device comprises a main shaft portion (14) and a securing portion (20) on the main shaft portion. The securing portion is a substantially helical elongate portion defining a central space (20A). Holding devices (312, 340), drive transmission devices (102, 202) and indicating devices (332) can be used with the securing device.
STAPLE INSERTION DEVICE
A staple insertion device includes a staple drive chamber, staple reservoir, staple feed mechanism, and staple drive member. The staple drive chamber is formed between a backing plate and a jam plate removably attached to the backing plate. The staple reservoir is configured to receive and hold a plurality of staples and extends from the backing plate to a staple reservoir terminal plate. The staple feed mechanism is operatively connected to the staple reservoir and is configured to feed the plurality of staples from the staple reservoir into the staple drive chamber through the backing plate. The staple drive member is configured to advance downwardly through the staple drive chamber so as to drive a staple out of the staple drive chamber.
Tilting Plant Shade and Selective Fertilizer Distribution Device
A device having a fertilizer base that is configured to be operable for distributing fertilizer to a surrounding soil. A collapsible or retractable umbrella is into engagement with the fertilizer base, wherein the umbrella is configured to provide shade for the plant. A bottom portion of a shaft section engages the fertilizer base and a top portion of the collapsible or retractable umbrella. The shaft section includes a tilting shaft that is operable to be tilted to provide partial or full shade to the plant proximal to the fertilizer base according to a sun's orientation or the plant's required amount of sunlight. An adapter coupling is configured to facilitate the engagement or separation of the shaft section with the fertilizer base and allow a user to add fertilizer to the cartridge area without uninstalling the device.
