AGRICULTURAL MULCH FILM
An agricultural mulch film including two or more layers with different capacities of light absorption and being separable from each other, e.g. by degrading at different speeds and/or having different times of degradation.
PLANT COVER WITH INSECT RESISTANT BAG FOR ENCLOSING A PLANT
A plant cover apparatus includes a bag having an interior encompassed by a wall that extends from a top end of the bag and tapers inwardly to a bottom end of the bag. The bottom end includes a rim that laterally circumscribes a plant-receiving opening formed through the bag. The bag has a slot that extends vertically from the opening through the wall. The slot includes opposed margins having cooperatively interlocking parts that can temporarily be joined and separated to increase the size of the opening. The bag may be vertically suspended from a support member positioned next to the plant. An exterior perimeter of the bag may be rigid enough to help the bag maintain its shape when suspended.
Feeding Apparatuses and Methods for Plants
The invention provides components, structures, methods, and assemblies for applying feeding materials to plants. The invention may include a permeable structure constructed of a woven material incorporating nutrient-rich material (such as compost, fertilizers, soil amendments, soil supplements, or other material). The structure may be substantially closed around the edges and allow for the flow of water and other material therethrough to plants and surrounding vegetation.
More efficient structural cell for facilitating tree root growth
A structural cell system for supporting hardscape, allowing tree root growth, and managing stormwater underneath the hardscape. The system may include: a base having a plurality of receptacles and a plurality of support members interconnecting the receptacles; a plurality of legs each sized and shaped to be attachable to the base within one of the receptacles so as to extend from the base, and to be attachable to another of the legs so that pairs of legs attached to each other collectively extend from the base; and a top attachable to the legs. Outer edges of the base, the top, and the legs attached thereto define a volume, and are configured to support at least that portion of the hardscape overlying the top as well as a commercial vehicle traffic load thereon, while maintaining soil in a substantially uncompacted state throughout at least approximately ninety percent of the volume.
SPRAYABLE POLYMER MEMBRANE FOR AGRICULTURE
A process for preparing a polymeric membrane for soil materials used in crop production comprising providing an aqueous dispersion of polyurethane and spraying the aqueous dispersion onto soil materials to be used in crop production to form a polymeric membrane.
COVERING SOIL MULCHING APPARATUS HAVING SOIL CLOGGING PREVENTION FUNCTION
A covering soil mulching apparatus according to an embodiment includes a soil scattering part at the rear end of the agricultural machine and including a scattering part frame and a scattering unit provided on a lower end side of the scattering part frame and scattering soil on a floor, a mulching film laying part including a laying part frame connected to a rear end side of the soil scattering part and a mulching film holding part having a mulching film wound around the mulching film holding part and spreading the mulching film on the floor, an oscillating plate above the mulching film holding part and guiding the scattered soil to be transported to a rear side and laid on an upper surface of the mulching film, and a soil oscillating part including oscillator for oscillating the oscillating plate to prevent formation of a soil wall on the oscillating plate.
METHOD FOR PLANTING PLANTS HAVING STOLONS, AND WEED-PROOF SHEET
Propagation of weeds is prevented in planting plants having stolons. The present invention provides a method for planting plants having stolons, the method including: a step of covering a part of a greening-target soil 10 with a first weed-proof sheet 20 having a rooting property; a step of planting seedlings 30 of the plants in a soil that is not covered with the first weed-proof sheet 20; and a step of covering the seedlings 30 and the soil having the seedlings 30 planted therein with a second weed-proof sheet 50 so that only one or more stolons 40 extending from the seedlings 30 are exposed on the first weed-proof sheet 20.
PLANT GROWING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A plant growing system comprising a growing panel and a porous air hose coupled to the growing panel. The growing panel includes a plurality of openings for receiving a plurality of plant receptacles. The plurality of openings are arranged in a plurality of parallel lines on the growing panel, and the porous air hose extends along the growing panel between at least two of the parallel lines.
TREE EGGPLANT AND CULTIVATION METHOD, RAPID PROPAGATION METHOD AND APPLICATION THEREOF
A tree eggplant and a cultivation method, a rapid propagation method and an application thereof are provided by the present disclosure. In the present disclosure, the Solanum wrightii is specifically selected as the female parent, and the Solanum torvum is used as the male parent, and the tree eggplant variety obtained by hybridization has fast growth, developed trunk, strong growth potential, and is perennial, and is strong in photosynthesis, strong in nutrient and water absorption capacity, high in affinity with the scion, fast in healing at the scion interface of the rootstock and good in healing; and has good resistance to soil-borne diseases such as fusarium wilt, verticillium wilt, bacterial wilt and root knot nematode; and the rapid propagation method of the tree eggplant has strong operability and high efficiency, and is easy to popularize in practical application.
Ground mats for water distribution
The invention relates to a device for conducting water in a ground surface, comprising a nonwoven layer introduced into the ground (6), which nonwoven layer has at least one conduit strand (4) provided with passage openings (5) for conducting water. In order to create advantageous construction conditions, it is proposed that the nonwoven layer forms a grid (1) made of intersecting arrays of grid strands and comprises a nonwoven web (3) extending along the conduit strand (4), and that at least one array of grid strands formed of nonwoven strips (2) adjoins the nonwoven web (3).
