The invention relates to a method for providing a spray gun (1) in a washing space (2) in a spray gun washing device (3), said spray gun comprising a paint passage (7) with a paint inlet (8). The washing space (2) comprises at least one cleaning nozzle (4) and an attachment surface (10). The cleaning nozzle (4) communicates with a cleaning medium system (5). The attachment surface (10) in the washing space (2) is configured to receive a spray gun (1) with a spray gun holder (9) since the position of the spray gun in the washing space is variable depending on the position of a paint inlet (8) of the spray gun relative to the position of the cleaning nozzle (4) in the washing space. The invention also relates to a spray gun washing device (3) comprising said characterizing features for cleaning the spray gun (1) which during cleaning is provided in said spray gun holder (9).

COLLECTION APPARATUS FOR RINSING MEDIA OF AN ATOMIZER
20220047979 · 2022-02-17 ·

The disclosure relates to a collecting device for collecting fluid media (e.g. rinsing agent, paint residues), which are produced when rinsing an atomizer (e.g. rotary atomizer) in a painting plant. The collecting device according to the disclosure comprises a collecting container with an insertion opening at the top of the collecting container for inserting the atomizer into the collecting container. Furthermore, the collecting device according to the disclosure comprises a lateral container wall which externally delimits the collecting container and is substantially impermeable to paint in order to prevent paint from escaping from the collecting container. The disclosure provides that the lateral container wall of the collecting container is at least partially air-permeable so that moist air can escape from the interior of the collecting container to the outside.

A delivery device includes a first fluid supply path to supply first fluid, a second fluid supply path to supply second fluid to be mixed with the first fluid for obtaining a mixture, a mixing chamber to which first and second fluid supply paths are connected and in which the first and second fluids are mixed, and a delivery port for delivering the mixture from the mixing chamber, in which the first fluid supply path is connected to a downstream side end part in the flow direction of the mixing chamber, the second fluid supply path is connected to the upstream side end part in the flow direction of the mixing chamber, and the delivery port is provided on a side wall of the mixing chamber between the downstream side end part and the upstream side end part.

COATING SYSTEM FOR COATING OBJECTS
20170274401 · 2017-09-28 ·

A coating system for coating objects having an application device and a supply system which supplies the application device with a liquid material. The supply system includes at least one base supply device with a piggable supply line which extends between a first pigging station and a second pigging station and can be connected to one of multiple material sources by a supply unit. The piggable supply line is a piggable primary supply line which can be connected to a discharge line of the supply unit by a valve unit. A piggable secondary supply line is provided which is connected to the valve unit and is connected to a secondary pigging station at the end remote from the valve unit. The valve unit is designed as a multi-way valve such that the discharge line of the supply unit can be at least selectively connected to the primary supply line (68.1); or the discharge line of the supply unit can be at least selectively connected to the primary supply line and the secondary supply line; or the primary supply line can be at least selectively connected to the secondary supply line.

Nozzle cleaning device and method of using the same

A nozzle cleaning device and a method of using the same are disclosed. The nozzle cleaning device has a cavity and a sealed chamber formed therein. The sealed chamber is provided with a cleaning tank, motors, driving bearings connected to the motors, rotation shafts connected to the driving bearings, a cleaning block fitted on the rotation shafts disposed above carrier portions, a heating means, and an ultrasonic wave device, so as to thoroughly clean nozzle portions which the mechanical procedure cannot clean, achieving a better cleaning effect, and being easier to use.

Material applicator and manifold therefor

A material applicator comprising a manifold including a primary body and a gate. The primary body includes a first inlet channel, first inlet connecting geometry, a second inlet channel, second inlet connecting geometry, a third inlet channel, third inlet connecting geometry, a first outlet channel, a second outlet channel, outlet connecting geometry, and a gate cavity. The gate is positioned in the cavity and includes a number of through-channels. The gate is configured to shift between a substance delivery position and a flushing position.

Spool valve for polyurethane foam dispenser

A foam dispenser having a metal housing has a spool valve socket therein. A metal handle extends from the housing. A spool valve is disposable within the spool valve socket. A trigger couplable to the spool valve enables the spool valve to be rotated between open and closed orientations within the housing. The spool valve has internal channels for selectively passing liquids through the spool valve in the open orientation and not in the closed orientation. The spool valve also has a channel for selectively passing a gas through the spool valve in both the open and closed orientations.

Self-cleaning spray valve assembly

Systems and methods for producing consistent spray patterns and for diminishing clogging experienced when applying spray adhesive from a spray gun are provided. One system includes an automatic non-atomizing spray valve operably coupled to a first and second flow valve. The spray and flow valves are electronically controlled using logic running on a processing unit. The logic is programmed to carry out a spray cycle that involves dispensing a first liquid from the spray valve (first phase) and then dispensing a second liquid through the same spray valve (second phase). Because the first liquid (e.g., water-based adhesive) has the potential to clog a nozzle of the spray valve, a short burst of the second liquid (e.g., cleaning fluid) is introduced to prevent the nozzle from clogging. The spray valve is configured as a pulse width modulated spray gun to further reduce clogging and to generate an evenly distributed spray pattern.
