System and method for auricular peripheral nerve field stimulation
An auricular peripheral nerve field stimulator system includes an electrical stimulation device for generating electrical stimulation signals and a plurality of therapy electrodes electrically coupled thereto, each of the therapy electrodes including at least one needle for percutaneous insertion into an auricle of a human ear near at least one neurovascular bundle located therein. At least one of the therapy electrodes includes a plurality of such needles for percutaneous insertion into the auricle near the at least one neurovascular bundle. In some embodiments, at least one reference electrode electrically is coupled to the electrical stimulation device and includes at least one needle for percutaneous insertion into or adjacent the auricle to provide a ground reference for the electrical stimulation device. The generated electrical stimulation signals are, in any case, delivered by the percutaneously inserted needles to stimulate at least one auricular peripheral nerve field within the auricle.
Electrotherapy system for traditional chinese medicine
An electrotherapy system includes a control device, a pulse generator and an electrode pad unit. The control device receives a user input associated with one of twelve meridians of a human, and outputs a control signal associated with the one of the twelve meridians. The pulse generator generates an electrical stimulation signal according to a reference frequency of a reference signal and the one of the twelve meridians with which the control signal is associated. The electrode pad unit contacts a user at a location corresponding to the one of the twelve meridians, and is coupled to the pulse generator for introducing the electrical stimulation signal from the pulse generator to the user.
TRIGGER POINT MASSAGE DEVICE AND SYSTEM
A massage device sized and shaped to be individually applied to the user's skin or clothing in order to apply pressure to selected trigger points on the body, the device having a base formed of a first compliant material, and a dome-shaped body extending from the base and formed of a second compliant material that is harder and less compliant than the first compliant material. In addition, a flexible filament having a substantially planar surface can be used to support one or more massage devices and apply the massage devices to selected trigger points on the body.
Massage Tool Case
An instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) system includes a substantially flat massage tool, such as an instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) tool, and a case to hold the substantially flat massage tool in either a storage position or a display position. The case includes a structure with a top surface and the top surface has a recess shaped to receive and situate the first substantially flat tool in a horizontal position relative to the top surface. The structure also includes a slot shaped to receive and situate the substantially flat tool in an angled position extending away from the top surface. If the substantially flat massage tool is placed horizontally into the recess, the IASTM system is in the storage position. If the substantially flat massage tool is placed vertically into the slot, the IASTM system is in the display position.

PARTIALLY INSULATED ACUPUNCTURE NEEDLES FOR SENSING AND STIMULATION
A sensing and monitoring system can use acupuncture needle-based electrodes for sensing signals from a person and/or delivering stimulation to the person. In various embodiments, the electrodes can include partially insulated acupuncture needles.
ACUPUNCTURE NEEDLES WITH ACCESSORIES FOR SENSING AND STIMULATION
A sensing and monitoring system can use acupuncture needle-based electrodes for sensing signals from a person and/or delivering stimulation to the person. In various embodiments, the electrodes can include partially insulated acupuncture needles. In various embodiments, the electrodes can include partially insulated or non-insulated acupuncture needles and one or more electrodes incorporated into a needle stopper configured as a guiding tube for an acupuncture needle or integrated into an acupuncture needle.
Electrical muscle stimulation
The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for electrical stimulation of muscle tissue. Electrodes (12) of an electrode array (13) are activated in accordance with a sequence of activation patterns, each pattern defining a subset of the electrodes (12) to be activated, each subset consisting of at least one electrode (12), by providing an electrical muscle stimulation signal to the muscle tissue via the subset of electrodes (12). Alternately with said activating of electrodes (12), a response signal associated with the respective activation pattern is received from a sensor (30; 12). Optionally, at least one electrode (12) is then selected for stimulation, corresponding to a location determined as being suitable for stimulation, and the muscle tissue is stimulated. The process may be repeated in order to track the location suitable for stimulation in a dynamic situation. Optionally, the orientation of body part is estimated from the measured response signals.
