An apparatus for dispensing a brushable substance comprises a bracket and a sleeve, comprising an inner tubular sleeve wall and an outer tubular sleeve wall. The sleeve is coupled to the bracket and is rotatable relative to the bracket about a first axis. The apparatus also comprises a cartridge, comprising an inner tubular cartridge wall and an outer tubular cartridge wall. The cartridge is configured to be positioned between the inner tubular sleeve wall and the outer tubular sleeve wall. Apparatus additionally comprises a valve, configured to be communicatively coupled with the cartridge, a brush-arm assembly, coupled to the sleeve, a linear actuator to control flow of the brushable substance from the valve, an annular plunger, positioned between the inner tubular cartridge wall and the outer tubular cartridge wall and movable along the first axis, and a push-lock pressure cap, configured to be hermetically coupled with the cartridge.
ADHESIVE APPLICATOR ROLLER AND MACHINE COMPRISING THE ROLLER
Described is a roller for the automatic application of at least one adhesive on a sheet for mattresses, which makes it possible to optimise the time needed for processing and the precision of the distribution of adhesive on the sheet in relation to the desired pattern, eliminating the waste of adhesive.
ROTATING APPLICATORS
Rotating applicators are disclosed. A disclosed example apparatus includes an inlet to receive a surface coating to be applied to a surface of a workpiece, a shaft having a fluid channel extending therethrough, where the fluid channel is in fluid communication with the inlet, and an applicator coupled to an end of the shaft, where the applicator has an opening in fluid communication with the fluid channel. The apparatus also includes a pump to cause the surface coating to flow from the inlet to the opening, and a motor to rotate the shaft while the applicator dispenses the surface coating from the opening.
GLUING DEVICE OF AN END EDGE OF A LOG
A gluing device of an end edge of a log including an introduction assembly into the gluing device of a log, a handling assembly for a log associated to detection device of the end edge and including a pair of rolls for advancement and holding in rotation of the log, a glue dispensing assembly and a transfer assembly of the log including a transfer plane positioned downstream of the lower handling roller. The glue dispensing assembly is placed in series between the lower handling roll and the transfer plane and includes a transverse tank for the glue, housing cyclically movable glue transfer members. The transverse tank is provided with an upper cover provided with a plurality of openings provided in succession side by side at a set distance along a transverse row. The movable glue transfer members include a plurality of tips provided in succession along a transverse row, alternatively projecting through the relevant openings and retracted within the transverse tank because of the cyclical movement.
Method of configuring applicators that deliver glutinous substances to workpiece from end-effector
A method of removing a tip from a body of an applicator, fixed to an end- effector, wherein the applicator comprises a coupler, releasably engageable with the tip to interlock the tip with the body of the applicator, is disclosed. The method comprises, with the coupler of the applicator releasably engaged with the tip, locating the end-effector so that a pawl is engaged with a third tooth on the tip to prevent movement of the tip in a fifth direction away from the pawl, and a wedge disengages the coupler of the applicator from the tip. The method also comprises, with the pawl engaged with the third tooth on the tip and the coupler of the applicator disengaged from the tip by the wedge, using the end-effector to move the body of the applicator in the fifth direction to disengage the tip from the body of the applicator.
Application mechanism, application apparatus, method for manufacturing object to which application material is applied, and method for manufacturing substrate
An application material container has a fixed portion and a container portion. The fixed portion is configured to be fixable to a fixing member included in an application mechanism. The container portion is provided with, in upper and lower portions thereof, a hole and a hole through which an application needle passes. A side surface of the container portion has a first flange. A lower surface of the first flange is in contact with an upper surface of the fixed portion. A gap is provided between a portion lower than the first flange on the side surface of the container portion and a side surface of the fixed portion. The container portion is horizontally movable within a range of the gap.
Methods of applying glutinous substances
A method of delivering a glutinous substance from a cartridge to a brush comprises receiving the cartridge inside a sleeve through an inlet of the sleeve while a pressure cap, located proximate the inlet of the sleeve, is in an open position. The method also comprises moving the pressure cap, located proximate the inlet of the sleeve, into a closed position to sealingly couple the pressure cap with a trailing end of the cartridge and to sealingly couple a valve with a leading end of the cartridge. The method further comprises applying pressure to the glutinous substance in the cartridge through a pressure input of the pressure cap to urge the glutinous substance from the cartridge to the valve. The method additionally comprises rotating the brush and opening the valve to enable the glutinous substance to flow from the valve to the brush at least when the brush is rotating.
