Curtain coating device and curtain coating method
A curtain coating device includes a curtain coating member, a conveyance unit, a separation member, and a base material supporting member. The curtain coating member creates a curtain-like film of coating liquid and makes the curtain-like film flow down. The conveyance unit conveys a base material to which the curtain-like film is to be applied. The separation member includes a receiving portion inclined downward from inside to outside in a width direction of the curtain-like film, and separates an end portion of the curtain-like film having flowed down by receiving the end portion with the receiving portion above the base material. The base material supporting member is disposed inside in the width direction of the curtain-like film than the receiving portion of the separation member, and supports the base material on an upper side flat portion while the base material is being conveyed.
Automated drywall sanding system and method
An automated sanding system that includes a robotic arm and a sanding end effector coupled at the distal end of the robotic arm, with the sanding end effector configured to sand a target surface. The system can further include a computing device executing a computational planner that generates instructions for driving the sanding end effector and robotic arm to perform at least one sanding task that at least includes the sanding end effector sanding a target surface, the generating based at least in part on obtained target surface data; and drives the end effector and robotic arm to perform the at least one sanding task.
SPRAY LUBRICATION SYSTEM OF A SHEET PROVIDED WITH ELECTRONICALLY ADJUSTABLE FREQUENCY SPRAYING VALVES
A spray lubrication system of sheets is provided with electronically adjustable frequency spraying valves housed at upper and lower spraying heads. Sheets travel between heads on three motorized rolls. The sheet is clamped between rolls and contrast wheels. Sensors monitor and adjust lubricant temperature. A first group of motion sensors detect whether the sheet passes at each spraying valve or not. Using the first sensor group, the system can self-learn the shape of the sheet. A second group of motion sensors at both spraying heads detects whether a lubricant spraying is present at each valve. Using the second sensors, the system can diagnose a malfunction whenever a discrepancy is found between the spraying frequency controlled to a valve and whether a spraying is present at each valve. The upper spraying head is in a box for aspirating the oil mists generated by the lubrication system during the work cycle.
Automated drywalling system and method
An automated drywalling system network that include one or more automated drywalling systems that each comprise a robotic arm. The automated drywalling system network can also include one or more drywalling end effectors configured to couple to a distal end of the robotic arms of the one or more automated drywalling systems. The drywalling end effectors can include a drywall hanging end effector; a drywall mudding end effector; a drywalling sanding end effector; and a drywall painting end effector.
AUTOMATED DRYWALL CUTTING AND HANGING SYSTEM AND METHOD
An automated drywalling system having a computing device executing a computational planner that generates, before hanging any of a plurality of drywall pieces, a plan for a configuration of a plurality of cut pieces of drywall to be disposed on studs of a target wall assembly including a plurality of seams respectively defined by adjoining edges of different pairs of drywall pieces of the plurality of cut pieces of drywall, the plan for the configuration generated based at least in part on an optimization of the plurality of cut pieces of drywall.
SURFACE TREATING APPARATUS
To provide surface treatment that can reduce occurrence of defects caused by incorporation of dust. Rollers 40 are rotatably fixed to rotating shafts 72 provided to protrude from lateral protective walls 49. The lateral protective walls 49 are fixed perpendicularly to lower protective walls 47 fixed to outer walls 39. Hanging plates 64 of a hanger 50 extend through a space 43 between both lower protective walls 47 and support clips 52. A liquid 41, such as water, is filled in spaces defined by the lateral protective walls 49, the lower protective walls 47, and the outer walls 39. The liquid 41 is filled to cover about half of each rotating shaft 72. Thus, fine dust generated by a transferring mechanism is captured by the liquid 41 and prevented from drifting from the space 34 toward the substrate 54.
AUTOMATED DRYWALL PLANNING SYSTEM AND METHOD
An automated drywalling system network that including one or more automated drywalling systems that each has a robotic arm. The automated drywalling system network can also include a computational planner that generates instructions for the one or more automated drywalling systems to perform two or more drywalling tasks associated with a target wall assembly. The two or more drywalling tasks can include a hanging task that includes hanging pieces of drywall on studs of the target wall assembly; a mudding task that includes applying joint compound to pieces of drywall hung on studs of the target wall assembly; a sanding task that includes sanding joint compound applied to the pieces of drywall hung on studs of the target wall assembly; and a painting task that includes painting sanded the joint compound applied to the pieces of drywall hung on studs of the target wall assembly.
Apparatus and method for treating substrate and measuring the weight of the remaining liquid on the substrate
Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for liquid-treating a substrate. An apparatus for treating a substrate includes a liquid treating unit that liquid-treats a substrate by supplying a liquid onto a substrate, a weight measuring unit that measures a weight of the remained liquid on the substrate, and a transfer unit that transfers the substrate between the liquid treating unit and the weight measuring unit. Accordingly, the weight of the remained liquid may be measured more promptly.
Automated drywall cutting and hanging system and method
An automated drywalling system for cutting and/or hanging drywall that includes one or more vision systems and a computing device executing a computational planner. The computational planner obtains target wall assembly data from the one or more vision systems, the target wall assembly data including information regarding a configuration of a target wall assembly including a plurality of studs that define a portion of the target wall assembly; and generates a plan for a configuration of a plurality of drywall pieces to be disposed on studs of the target wall assembly based on the target wall assembly data.
