20200306791 · 2020-10-01 ·

A device and method for lacquer transfer includes a lacquer application unit and at least one of a masking application unit and a masking removal unit, the application unit for applying lacquer to a work surface, wherein the masking application unit is configured to apply a masking to the work surface and is attached to the lacquer application unit so the masking application unit is moved in the application direction ahead of the lacquer application unit across the work surface when the lacquer application unit is moved across the work surface in the application direction. The masking removal unit can remove a previously applied masking from the work surface and is attached to the lacquer application unit such that the masking removal unit is moved in the application direction behind the lacquer application unit across the work surface when the lacquer application unit is moved across the work surface in the application direction.

System for producing a fully impregnated thermoplastic prepreg

According to one embodiment, a system for manufacturing a polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) prepreg includes a mechanism for continuously moving a fabric or mat and a resin application component that applies a methyl methacrylate (MMA) resin to the fabric or mat. The system also includes a press mechanism that presses the fabric or mat during the continuous movement subsequent to the application of the MMA resin to ensure that the MMA resin fully saturates the fabric or mat. The system further includes a curing oven through which the fabric or mat is continuously moved. The curing oven is maintained at a temperature of between 40 C. and 100 C. to polymerize the MMA resin and thereby form PMMA so that upon exiting the curing oven, the fabric or mat is fully impregnated with PMMA.

RUBBER PELLET TREATMENT

Rubber pellets are coated with an anti-tack material. The anti-tack material may be comprised of a metallic stearate, such as magnesium stearate. The coated rubber pellets are loaded on to a rotational conveyance mechanism that rotates at a speed and radial amount to provide an interaction time between the rubber pellets and the anti-tack material. The coated rubber pellets may then be dried in a centrifuge dryer having a plurality of angled fins extending from a rotational shaft.

Adhesive tape and apparatus for making same

The invention relates to a device for producing an adhesive tape (2), comprising a supply unit (5) for supplying a strip-type textile carrier (3) of the adhesive tape (2), and a coating unit (6) for applying an at least lamellar adhesive coating (4) to at least one side of the carrier (3). The invention also relates to an ultrasound unit (9 and 10) and/or a laser unit for producing perforations and/or cut edges in the carrier (3).

VISCOUS MATERIAL STIRRING APPARATUS AND VISCOUS MATERIAL STIRRING METHOD

A viscous material stirring apparatus includes a stirring member that rotates about a rotation axis and has a tip radially separated from the rotation axis, a rotary actuator that rotates the stirring member about the rotation axis, a moving mechanism that moves the stirring member, and a control device. The control device drives the moving mechanism to immerse the tip of the stirring member into an applied viscous material, drives the rotary actuator to rotate the stirring member around the rotation axis, and drives the moving mechanism to move the stirring member along a coating direction of the viscous material with the tip of the stirring member immersed in the viscous material.

Active drying station and method to remove immersion liquid using gas flow supply with gas outlet between two gas inlets

A lithographic projection apparatus is disclosed in which a liquid supply system provides a liquid between the projection system and the substrate. An active drying station is provided to actively remove the liquid from the substrate W or other objects after immersion of all or part of a surface of the substrate W or other objects.

Dispensing and ultraviolet (UV) curing with low backscatter

A dispensing and ultraviolet (UV) curing system is disclosed with low backscatter. The system includes a dispenser for dispensing an ultraviolet (UV) curable material onto a substrate and a UV radiation source assembly coupled to the dispenser and operable to facilitate curing the UV curable material that has been dispensed onto the substrate. The UV radiation source assembly has a UV radiation source with a first optical axis and an optical element with a second optical axis. The second optical axis is different than the first optical axis. The optical element is configured such that, during operation, UV radiation from the UV radiation source passes through the optical element.
