Floor covering
A method of making a floor covering including a tufted textile substrate and a reinforcement backing system. A layer of reinforcement fibers is positioned on the ends of yarn stitches. Applicators are operationally connected such that adhesive is forced into the reinforcement fiber layer towards a primary backing substrate, and adhesive is also substantially simultaneously directed to form a pool of adhesive between the applicators, and a portion of the pool of adhesive is also substantially simultaneously applied as a layer of adhesive on the reinforcement fiber layer.
Resin protection member forming apparatus
A resin protection member forming apparatus includes a stage having a resin placement surface on which a particulate thermoplastic resin is to be placed. The stage includes a Peltier device, a DC power source, and a switch. The Peltier device is disposed inside the stage and has an upper surface, which is parallel and close to the resin placement surface, and a lower surface, which is far from the resin placement surface. The DC power source supplies a DC current to the Peltier device. The switch changes a direction of the DC current to be supplied to the Peltier device, between a first direction to heat the upper surface of the Peltier device and a second direction, opposite to the first direction, to cool the upper surface of the Peltier device.
ELECTRODE AND APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
An apparatus for manufacturing an electrode includes a supply member configured to supply a collector; an attachment member configured to attach a coating paper to a top surface of the collector supplied by the supply member at set intervals; and a first injection member that operates to inject an electrode active material to the top surface of the collector, thereby forming a first coating layer when the collector passes through a first section and stops operating so as not to inject the electrode active material when the coating paper attached to the collector passes through the first section. A method for manufacturing the electrode is also provided.
SEALING ADAPTER FOR DISPOSABLE PRIMING TIP OF AUTOMATED GLASS PRIMING DEVICE
A system for automatically dispensing a fluid from a deformable container onto a panel includes a primer head having a container receiver and a container deformer, the container receiver receiving and holding a container of primer thereat. An adapter is received into an opening of the container and is secured to a portion of the primer head, and the container is retained at the container receiver of the primer head. A primer tip is disposed at the adapter. With the container held at the container receiver and retained at the primer head, the primer head moves to position the primer tip at the panel. When the primer tip is positioned at the panel, the container deformer automatically operates to deform the container to cause a predetermined amount of primer to be dispensed from the container, through the adapter and to the primer tip and onto the panel.
LIQUID METAL APPLYING METHOD
Disclosed herein is a method for applying a liquid metal on a surface of an object that is selected from the group consisting of a heat-emitting surface and a heat-conducting surface. The method includes applying the liquid metal onto the surface, and applying a force to the liquid metal using a tool to destroy cohesion of the liquid metal, followed by moving the tool back and forth to apply the liquid metal on the surface.
SPREADING UNIT
The disclosure relates to a spreading unit having a shaper for spreading viscous material, in particular sealing material, on a component, wherein the shaper has a first shaping contour for shaping the viscous material in the process of the spreading, wherein at least a second shaping contour of the shaper for shaping the viscous material can be brought by means of an actuator, in a direction of spreading, into superimposition with the first shaping contour, so that a shape of the shaper is adjustable during an application process.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PAINTING OR STAINING BOARDS
A system that applies liquid conditioning agent to at least one of a plurality of sides of an untreated board is provided. One embodiment has an enclosure with a first side having a first aperture and an opposing second side with a second aperture having dimensions that correspond to the width and thickness of the untreated board; a spray applicator system comprising a plurality of spray nozzles located within a chamber and oriented inward, wherein the liquid conditioning agent is sprayed through the spray nozzles onto at least one of the sides of the untreated board as the untreated board passes through the chamber of the enclosure; a plurality of brushes located after the spray applicator system, wherein the liquid conditioning agent is brushed onto the sides of the untreated board, wherein the untreated board enters through the first aperture, and wherein a treated board exits through the second aperture.
Formation of Lining Layers in the Cathode Shells of Aluminium Electrolytic Reduction Cells
The invention relates to non-ferrous metallurgy and the electrolytic production of aluminium, and can be used for lining the cathode assembly of an electrolytic cell. The present method consists in laying materials while simultaneously distributing same over the surface of a base and levelling them at a height measured from the plane of the top edge of the shell of the cathode assembly of the electrolytic cell by gradually moving a device for installing unformed lining materials along the longitudinal axis of the cathode of the aluminium electrolytic cell. Said device is configured in the form of a bridge equipped with a mechanical drive for movement. The bridge has guides on which a frame is mounted for vertical movement, said frame having cassettes provided with gates with a mechanical drive. The technical result is reduced labour costs, healthier working conditions for operatives, and better quality installation of the base of an electrolytic cell.
Electrode slurry coating apparatus and method
The present invention relates to an electrode slurry coating apparatus comprising a lower die applying electrode slurry on a collector, an intermediate die, an upper die, a first discharge part primarily applying the electrode slurry on the collector to form a first coating layer; an intermediate pressing part pressing the first coating layer to adjust a thickness of the first coating layer; a second discharge part secondarily applying the electrode slurry on a surface of the first coating layer to form a second coating layer; and an upper pressing part pressing the first coating layer and the second coating layer, which are stacked, at the same time to adjust a thickness of each of the first coating layer and the second coating layer, wherein the first discharge part has a width less than that of the second discharge part.
COATING METHOD, COATING BAR HEAD AND COATING APPARATUS
An embodiment of the present invention provides a coating method, a coating bar head and a coating apparatus which enables coating in which changes in coating film thickness is less likely to occur, even when performing meniscus coating at a high speed. This coating method is a coating method including: supplying a coating liquid between a coating bar head and a substrate to form a meniscus; and moving the substrate, wherein a cross section of the coating surface of the bar head in the direction of coating, is a convex curve, and has bending points at both ends of the curve.
