The robot end effector (100) also comprises a dispensing valve (130), attached to the chassis (110), and a head assembly (150), comprising an inlet manifold (152). The inlet manifold (152) is configured to selectively supply compressed air from a pressure source (199) to contents of a corresponding one of the two-part cartridges (104).
POSITIVE DISPLACEMENT END EFFECTOR WITH MULTIPLE CARTRIDGES
A robot end effector (100) for dispensing an extrudable substance (102) comprises cartridge bays (122). Each one of the cartridge bays (122) is shaped to receive one of two-part cartridges (104). Each of the two-part cartridges (104) comprises a cartridge outlet (109). The robot end effector (100) also comprises a head assembly (150), comprising pairs of fittings (152). Each pair of the pairs of fittings (152) is configured to selectively supply compressed air from a pressure source (199) to contents of one of the two-part cartridges (104) when the two-part cartridges (104) are received by the cartridge bays (122) and the cartridge bays (122) are translated along a first axis (190) and along a second axis (192) so that the cartridge outlet (109) of the corresponding one of the two-part cartridges (104) is in fluidic communication with the mixer inlet (103).
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATED ARTIFICIAL VISION GUIDED DISPENSING VISCOUS FLUIDS FOR CAULKING AND SEALING OPERATIONS
The present disclosure provides a method and system by which a precise amount of a viscous fluid sealing compound can be dispensed at required locations through computer vision-based observation of the fluid deposited, its rate and amount of deposition and location; and that the dispensed fluid may be accurately shaped through robotic or other special purpose mechanism motion. The invention enables instant quality inspection of the dispensing process in terms of the locations, amounts and shapes of newly created seals.
MULTI-MATERIAL DISPENSING SYSTEM HAVING A QUICK-CONNECT FLUID DISPENSER THAT RELEASABLY COUPLES TO A PUMP HOUSING
In one example, a dispensing system has a housing that supports a first and second pumps. The housing defines a receptacle and first and second passages. The receptacle defines at least one hole that extends into the housing that can receive a plug of a fluid dispenser. The first passage extends from the at least one hole to a first pump outlet, such that the first passage can communicate a first fluid material from the first pump outlet to the fluid dispenser. The second passage extends from the at least one hole to a second pump outlet, such that the second passage can communicate a second fluid material from the second pump outlet to the fluid dispenser. The system has an engagement feature that can engage a corresponding feature of the plug of the fluid dispenser so as to releasably secure the fluid dispenser to the housing.
Method and Applicator for Continuous Sequential Application of Two or More Viscous Materials or Fluids
The purpose of the invention is to provide a method and an applicator for the continuous sequential separate application of two or more viscous materials or fluids, whereby two or more adhesives can be applied continuously in one operation in a track or line in turn or alternately or sequentially and thus different adhesives can be applied in turn without intervals as a continuous track or line or as a ring thereof.
A method for the continuous sequential application of two or more viscous materials or fluids, whereby control of the respective volume flows of the viscous materials or fluids is carried out so that the respective viscous materials or fluids are applied in turn.
Applicator for the continuous sequential application of two or more viscous materials or fluids, whereby two or more feed channels arranged adjacently in the longitudinal direction as a feed unit extending in a longitudinal direction are provided for separately guiding the viscous materials or fluids, wherein the feed channels each comprise a material outlet or fluid outlet at one axial end and the feed channels comprise a material inlet or fluid inlet in the area of the end opposite to the material outlet or fluid outlet in the longitudinal direction.
ORGANOPOLYSILOXANE CURED PRODUCT FILM AND USAGE, MANUFACTURING METHOD, AND MANUFACTURING APPARATUS THEREFOR
Provided is: an organopolysiloxane cured film that is superior as a thin film and, in terms of flatness, has significantly superior smoothness and flatness at the film surface, in addition to generally having high dielectric breakdown strength against a load voltage; along with a usage and manufacturing method therefor. The organopolysiloxane cured film, in which an arithmetic average height (Sa) of the film surface is less than 0.50 μm, while an average thickness at the center of the film is within a range of 1 to 20 μm. It is possible to obtain such a film by a manufacturing method including a die coating step in which a slot die is used to coat a curable organopolysiloxane composition on a continuously traveling substrate supported between a pair of support rolls by means of a tension support system.
Method and Apparatus for Creating an Overlay to Reinforce and Repair Hard Surfaces
A method and apparatus for distributing a liquid substance to a surface for purposes of creating an overlay to a repair or reinforce and enhance the physical properties of the surface. The invention may include a system having a pair of holding tanks for holding a resin and a hardener, a pair of fluid pumps, a manifold, a mixing chamber and an aggregate hopper. An overlay substance may be formed by the system by mixing the resin and hardener, and the substance may be dispensed through a linear distribution apparatus onto a surface in need of repair or improvement.
AUTOMATED TWO-COMPONENT RESIN MIXING AND DISPENSING SYSTEM
According to some embodiments, a system and method for dispensing a floor coating in a specified ratio of multiple components is disclosed. The system and method may set and maintain a desired ratio of the multiple components by controlling, with a controller, a drive rate of respective pumps configured for propelling the components from a reservoir to a mixer or a dispenser. The controller may be responsive to at least one of a measured actual drive rate, an environmental condition, an actual usage of each component, and an operational parameter of the system, for adjusting a drive rate of the respective pumps to compensate for discrepancies that may affect the ratio of the multiple components.
Method and metering device for metering a liquid or pasty product in a pressure-regulated manner
A method for metering a liquid or pasty product in a pressure-regulated manner, has the following steps: metering the product into a mixing chamber using a metering pump; ascertaining a product pressure of the product according to the mixing chamber; ascertaining a deviation of the product pressure from a specified target pressure; and opening or closing a pressure regulating valve provided on an outlet nozzle of the mixing chamber based on the pressure in order to equalize the product pressure and the target pressure, wherein the product pressure is reduced when the pressure regulating valve is opened and increased when the pressure regulating valve is closed.
Dispenser for binary viscous fluids with aggregate
Apparatus for blending and applying plural substances including aggregate onto an environmental substrate is shown and described. The apparatus includes optionally a single power plant, plural pumps each fed by a respective hopper, and a blender blending pumped materials together. Dispensing ratios of the two pumps are mutually adjustable. An onboard air compressor delivers compressed air for atomizing blended materials as they are dispensed with the aggregate. Because materials may be curable or hardenable, flushing is enabled. The apparatus may be a free standing wheeled device.
