Preventing infections in non-sterile air-circulating medical devices
The present disclosure includes various examples for cooling electronics within a medical device while preventing or reducing the risk of an interior of the medical device being contaminated with a pathogen. The present disclosure includes a medical device having an air deflector to deflect potentially contaminated air from infecting a patient or caregiver. The present disclosure also includes medical devices with disinfectant devices installed to disinfect air either before entering the medical device or before exiting the device. Other examples of the present disclosure include medical devices that are sealed from outside air and fluids, and which may include a cooling device on an exterior surface which may be cleaned and/or removed after each use.
Hot Tub Manifold with Raised Frictional Sections
A hot tub manifold that has been engineered with a plurality of teeth-like raised sections inside the inner diameter of the manifold. As the water travels through the manifold while the hot tub pumps are operating, it travels across the surface of the raised sections creating friction. That friction energy created is thus transferred to the water in the form of heatwhich in turn raises the temperature of the water to the desired set level on the thermostat on the hot tub. Passing the water (generally at high speed) over the raised teeth creates free heat and lowers the amount of time and energy required by the hot tub's element heater to elevate the water to the given temperature.
Adult toy with transparent outer body
An adult toy article including a main body including a rear, central and front portions and defining a tip end and a rear end, and including an inner body and an outer body overlaying at least a portion of the inner body, each of the inner body and outer body defining a rear, central and front portion corresponding to the rear, central and front portion of the main body. The central portion of the inner body may define at least in part an elongated shape. The front portion of the inner body may define a tapering cone-shape with a rounded front end. The outer body may overlay at least a portion of the inner body, the outer body being sufficiently transparent to view at least a portion of the inner body there through.
Cervical shield sexual aid device and method for use during intercourse
A sexual aid device comprising a main body (100) and a cervical void (110), sized and shaped to shield a cervix (350) during intercourse. This self-retaining device comprises a means to prevent a penis from colliding with the cervix (350), a means to shield the anterior vagina wall from frictional contact during sexual intercourse and at least one means to retain the sexual aid device within the vagina. This device provides a non-surgical, cost-effective solution to allow for more comfortable deeper penetration by guiding the penis away from the cervix.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL PHYSIOTHERAPY DEVICE AND PHYSIOTHERAPY METHOD
A multifunctional physiotherapy device includes an elastic support assembly, a physiotherapy assembly, a housing assembly, a sleeve casing and an imaging assembly. The housing assembly is disposed on the outside of the elastic support assembly, the physiotherapy assembly is removably secured on the elastic support assembly. The sleeve casing is disposed at the joint of the physiotherapy assembly and the elastic support assembly. A user holds the housing assembly to direct the physiotherapy assembly in the physiotherapy area and moves it back and forth to complete the therapy, and the physiotherapy actions are observed through the imaging assembly. The physiotherapy assembly includes a massage head, a scraping head and a moxibustion head that can be removably secured on the elastic support assembly, sequentially completing massage, scraping and moxibustion physiotherapy actions respectively. The multifunctional physiotherapy device has a simple structure and a clever design with remarkable physiotherapy effects.
Chest compression devices for use with imaging systems, and methods of use of chest compression devices with imaging systems
Devices and methods for performing CPR on a patient within an imaging field of an imaging device. The device has a compression belt and a belt tensioning mechanism, both located on or in the device such that the head, neck, thorax and abdomen of the patient may be place within the imaging field with the compression belt installed about the patient and the belt tensioning mechanism will be located outside of the imaging field.
STIMULATING DEVICE
A sexual stimulation device includes an actuator having a power output end portion, a main body, and a bionic finger assembly including proximal, middle, and distal components. At least a portion of the main body forms the proximal component. The middle phalanx is hinged to the proximal component, and the distal component is hinged to the middle component. The middle component is coupled to the power output end portion, and the distal component is coupled to the proximal component. A distal portion of the distal component is caused to execute a rocking motion with respect to the first proximal portion of the middle component as the power output end portion is actuated by an actuator.
