PIVOTING APPLICATOR ASSEMBLY FOR SEALANTS AND ADHESIVES
A pivoting applicator assembly has a base member and a pivoting member, wherein the base member is coupled to an applicator tube (e.g., caulk tube) and wherein the pivoting member is coupled to the end of the base member and is configured to pivot thereon.
Material dispense tips and methods for forming the same
A dispense tip constructed and arranged to communicate with a material dispensing pump comprises an elongated neck and a molded base having a first portion and a second portion opposite the first portion. The neck extends from the first portion of the base. The second portion is constructed and arranged to abut an outlet surface of the pump. An outermost region of the second portion of the base includes a compressible fluid-tight surface that compliantly conforms to the outlet surface when the dispense tip is mounted to the pump.
SEALANT INJECTION SYSTEMS
Sealant injection systems for injecting sealant into a cavity, the sealant injection systems including a sealant dispensing tip having a proximal end portion, a body portion, and a distal end portion that define a continuous channel to an aperture in the distal end portion for dispensing sealant material into a cavity, where the aperture is surrounded by a compressible material. The distal end portion may have a linear ridge defined on an end face, the aperture being asymmetrically provided relative to the ridge.
Capsule for mixing and dispensing a dental material
A capsule for mixing and dispensing a dental material which has a body forming a cavity. The cavity is closed by a liquid container. The body and the liquid container in combination form a mixing chamber containing a first component of the dental material. The liquid container has a cup-shaped cartridge formed by a cartridge front wall and a cartridge side wall and having a rear opening. A plug is movably joined within the cartridge through the rear opening for extruding a liquid second component of the dental material. The cartridge further has a channel extending through the cartridge side wall for releasing the second component into the mixing chamber. The body side wall inwardly has a recess being dimensioned for establishing a fluid communication between the channel and the cavity in an activated position, where the activated position corresponds to a second axial position of a two different axial positions of the of the cartridge and the body relative to each other. Further the first axial position corresponds to an inactivated position in which the channel is offset from the recess. A first cover film seals the joint between the cartridge and the plug, and the channel is openably sealed by a second cover film at least in the inactivated position. The capsule helps facilitating the preparation of a dental material.
FLOW RESTRICTOR
This invention relates to an apparatus for dispensing a viscous fluid whether in combination, disassembly or assembly. The apparatus comprising a cartridge, reservoir or tube containing the fluid and having an openable or opened outlet structure which, when opened, allows the expression of the fluid from a created outlet aperture. A nozzle is engaged or engageable to the outlet structure and/or cartridge, reservoir or tube whereby fluid expressed from the outlet aperture can subsequently move to and be expressed from the nozzle outlet. The openable or opened outlet structure is adapted to provide on opening at least one outlet aperture having a size of area A; and wherein the nozzle has or is adapted to be cut to provide a nozzle outlet of area B, area B being greater than or equal to area A.
Adjustable fluid nozzle and apparatus including same
Various embodiments of a fluid nozzle are disclosed. The nozzle includes a tube having a fluid passageway that extends between an aperture disposed in a first end of the tube and an inlet disposed in a second end of the tube, and a notch disposed in a sidewall of the tube. The notch defines a shield portion of the sidewall of the tube. The fluid nozzle further includes a cap rotatably connected to the tube and disposed over the aperture and the notch of the tube. When the nozzle is in a first orientation the cap is rotated relative to the tube such that an outlet of the cap includes a maximum open area. When the nozzle is in a second orientation the shield portion of the tube occludes a portion of the outlet of the cap such that the outlet includes a minimum open area.
Glue Coating Device For Laying Stealth Optical Cables
The invention provides a glue coating device for laying stealth optical cables, comprising an outer housing and an inner housing sheathed inside the outer housing. A glue chamber is provided inside the inner housing. One end of the outer housing is a mounting end and the other end is a glue injection end by which the device is mounted on a glue injection gun. A glue injection zone is provided at an end surface of the glue injection end and runs through the glue chamber. The glue injection end has a front preprocessor which comprises two separating and guiding sides forming an angle of 120? therebetween and protruding from the outer housing. A cable positioning groove is provided on the end surface of the outer housing. The device is simple in structure, convenient for constructing, and provides quantitative glue injection and has a favorable coating effect.
Construction Material Tube Strap Cap
A construction material tube strap cap includes a base comprising a first and second tab that defines a respective first and second aperture, where the base is dimensioned to fit over a nozzle of a construction material tube. An upper section attached to the base. The upper section comprises a top surface and a bottom surface and is dimensioned to provide a seal around the nozzle with a predetermined volume surrounding the nozzle. An elastic strap is positioned through the first and second apertures defined in the first and second tabs in the base. The elastic strap has a length and an elasticity that cause the first and second tabs to flex inward toward the nozzle.
High Pressure Free Radical Polymerization Process with Flexible Control of Molecular Weight Distribution
Ethylene-based polymer, LDPE, is made in a high pressure polymerization process to comprising at least the step of polymerizing a reaction mixture comprising ethylene, using a reactor configuration comprising (A) at least two reaction zones, a first reaction zone (reaction zone 1) and an i reaction zone (reaction zone i where i>2), (B) at least two ethylene feed streams, each feed stream comprising a percentage of the total make-up ethylene fed to the polymerization process, in which a first ethylene feed stream is sent to reaction zone 1 and a second ethylene feed stream is sent to reaction zone i, and (C) a control system to control the percentage of the total make-up ethylene in the ethylene feed stream sent to reaction zone 1 and the percentage of the total make-up ethylene in the ethylene feed stream sent to reaction zone i.
CONCRETE JOINT FILLING KIT, METHOD AND DEVICE
A system and method for filling joints in concrete. The system includes an A-side joint filler compound portion, a B-side joint filler compound portion, and a liquid pigment portion, which are mixed together in a mixing container initially containing only the A-side joint filler compound portion. The portions are mixed using a mixing rod. An elongate nozzle is then attached to the mixing container, and the mixing container added to an application gun for application to the joint.
