An applicator for on demand incremental dispensing of dental compounds from interchangeable prefilled cartridges. A hand held applicator support body with a threaded drive rod, selectively advanced by a trigger activated indexing lever assembly for advancing engagement within the medication cartridge. A release and positional indicator allows for drive rod engagement and resetting therewithin.

Material dispense tips and methods for manufacturing the same

A material dispense tip includes an elongated hole in an elongated neck that extends from an input end of the neck to an output end of the neck. The hole at the output end of the neck has a first diameter. The output end of the neck is positioned against a die surface. A punch is inserted into the hole at the input end of the neck. An external force is applied to the neck to cause the output end of the neck to be deformed under compression by the die surface, to reduce the diameter of the hole at the output end of the neck from the first diameter to a second diameter that is less than the first diameter.

Application container and application tool

Provided is an application container including a bottom wall, a body section, and a mouth section. The body section includes a base portion, a reduced diameter portion, an interposed portion interposed between the reduced diameter portion and the mouth section, and a back-side neck portion interconnecting the interposed portion and the mouth section at a position opposite to the bottom wall across an axis of the mouth section in a direction orthogonal to the axis. An inner surface of the first belly-side boundary between the base portion and the reduced diameter portion has a shape curved convexly outward. An inner surface of the second belly-side boundary between the reduced diameter portion and the interposed portion has a shape curved convexly inward.

OUTLET FOR A STATIC MIXER

An outlet for a static mixer includes a cannula, a housing accommodating part of the cannula within a passage extending through the housing in an axial direction. The cannula is attached to the housing via a joining member permanently fixed to an outer surface of the cannula, with the joining member being arranged within a recess of the housing, and with the joining member being formed from a material different to the material of the cannula and from the material of the housing.

ADHESIVE TAPE HAVING PERFORATIONS FOR APPLYING TO A RIBBON BEAD NOZZLE
20220041895 · 2022-02-10 · ·

An adhesive tape is arranged to be applied over the outlet opening of a nozzle otherwise arranged for dispensing a viscous material as a continuous ribbon bead onto a work surface. The adhesive tape is perforated with a plurality of perforations. By applying the inventive adhesive tape over the outlet opening of the nozzle, the viscous material may be dispensed through the plurality of perforations to form a plurality of continuous filaments on the work surface, rather than a continuous ribbon bead, resulting in waste reduction and greater control over the amount dispensed. Such viscous materials may include construction adhesives, caulking materials, sealants, dual component reactive resins, and the like. The work surface may be the base of a wall to which a length of flexible molding is to be attached by an adhesive.

HIGH PRESSURE, FREE RADICAL POLYMERIZATIONS TO PRODUCE ETHYLENE-BASED POLYMERS

A high pressure polymerization to form an ethylene-based polymer, the process comprising the following: polymerizing a reaction mixture comprising ethylene, using a reactor system comprising at least three ethylene-based feed streams and a reactor configuration that comprises at least four reaction zones.

High pressure, free radical polymerizations to produce ethylene-based polymers

A high pressure polymerization, as described herein, to form an ethylene-based polymer, comprising the following steps: polymerizing a reaction mixture comprising ethylene, using a reactor system comprising at least three ethylene-based feed streams and a reactor configuration that comprises at least four reaction zones, and at least one of the following a) through c), is met: (a) up to 100 wt % of the ethylene stream to the first zone comes from a high pressure recycle, and/or up to 100 wt % of the last ethylene stream to a zone comes from the output from a Primary compressor system; and/or (b) up to 100 wt % of the ethylene stream to first zone comes from the output from a Primary compressor system, and/or up to 100 wt % of the last ethylene stream to a zone comes from a high pressure recycle; and/or (c) the ethylene stream to the first zone, and/or the last ethylene stream to a zone, each comprises a controlled composition; and wherein each ethylene stream to a zone receives an output from two or more cylinders of the last compressor stage of a Hyper compressor system.

Fastener-coating tools

Fastener-coating tools comprise a non-permeable body and a permeable body that laps over at least a portion of an outer surface of the non-permeable body, laps over all of a terminal surface of the non-permeable body, laps over at least a portion of an inner surface of the non-permeable body, spans an internal cavity of the non-permeable body, and defines a fastener cavity that is sized and shaped to receive a portion of a fastener assembly to be coated.

Side-by-side cartridge assembly for dispensing a first fluid and a second fluid

A side-by-side cartridge assembly for dispensing a first fluid and a second fluid includes a first cartridge body and a second cartridge body having first and second cartridge coupling elements, respectively. The first cartridge body extends along an axial direction and has a radial boundary or periphery transverse to the axial direction. The first cartridge has a first neck portion of a neck, and the second cartridge has a second neck portion of the neck. The first neck portion projects from the first cartridge body such that the first neck portion is within the radial boundary or periphery of the first cartridge. As such, the first cartridge coupling element operatively connects to the second cartridge coupling element to secure the first cartridge to the second cartridge and form the neck for discharging a first fluid and a second fluid.
