TWO-COMPONENT ADHESIVE DISPENSER WITH MIXING UNIT REPLACEMENT SYSTEM
20200055078 · 2020-02-20 ·

A two component adhesive system pumps a first adhesive component and a second adhesive component into a replaceable mixing unit that can be periodically replaced when the adhesive has cured in the mixing unit. The adhesive system has a robotic arm coupled to a gripper unit which has an open position and a closed position. In the open position, the gripper unit releases the mixing unit allowing the mixing unit to be replaced. The robotic arm moves the gripper unit to install a replacement mixing unit. The gripper unit can be moved to the closed position and the adhesive can be pumped through the mixing unit.

The foil pack has at least one elongated foil bag designed to be non-rigid, and one rigid head part having at least one fastening portion for one end of the foil bag and an outlet opening for discharge of the compound, where the dispensing device has at least one receptacle for pushing in the at least one film bag. The at least one elongated foil bag has, in a filled condition, the form of a truncated cone, the diameter of which narrows in the direction of a longitudinal axis, starting from the respective fastening portion.

Glue gun dispensing nozzle indicator
10512932 · 2019-12-24 · ·

A glue gun dispensing nozzle indicator changes color when a heater element exceeds a transition temperature. In one embodiment, the temperature indicator changes from a blue color to a red color to indicate that the temperature is sufficient so that the glue gun may dispense molten glue. Temperature dependent color pigments are applied as coatings to the indicator.

APPLICATION NOZZLE WITH AN ELASTIC MOLDING REGION FOR MANUALLY APPLYING A DIMENSIONED PASTY SEALANT STRAND FOR A CORNER JOINT SEAL
20240100559 · 2024-03-28 ·

The invention relates to an application nozzle (5.) for plastic sealants in a pasty form which can be easily and uniformly guided. The functional principle of the invention relates to a molding region (14.) made of an elastic structured rubber (8.) which is positioned by a guiding system, flexibly adapts to the adhesive surfaces, and has a pressure point-developing effect as a result of the molding region (14.) being sealed laterally or to the front (in the guide direction). By means of the pressure resistance, which changes noticeably to the user, in the counter-pressure of the hand lever during a manual application process using a conventional application pistol, the actuation of the hand lever becomes a simple control variable, from which a flawless visible surface results in a work process which is easy to control. The sealant material can be applied horizontally and vertically, as well as in an overhead position, in an approximately loss-free manner. The guiding system of the application nozzle (5.) consists of two contact bodies ((16.) and (21.)). By virtue of the dual function of the second contact body (21.), a central sealant abutment can be produced.

CORDLESS DUCTWORK SEALER WITH CUSTOM SPREADER HEADS KITS AND METHOD OF USING SAME
20240068570 · 2024-02-29 ·

The embodiments of the invention as described herein relate to a tool or device for sealing exterior duct joints. The device is designed and configured to drive a semi-solid mastic or cement-like material through a hose and a custom designed applicator wand. The various embodiments of the invention include cordless, lightweight and portable versions. This tool is designed to assist in the sealing of ductwork. An extension on the end of the wand enables a user to reach several areas that are either difficult to access, or awkward to seal using traditional techniques. Various embodiments of the spreader head have been designed to perform better for different parts of the duct system. The user only needs a ladder to seal the top of the supply trunk duct, the remainder of the ductwork can be sealed standing on the floor.

Fluid Dispensing Systems
