A kit for use in storm-proofing a structure may include a cartridge comprising an injectable rubber caulk or a malleable rubber paste, a container comprising a viscous liquid rubber composition, a roll comprising a rubberized adhesive tape, a can comprising a sprayable aerosol-based rubberized liquid, a caulking gun configured to engage and dispense contents of the cartridge, a paintbrush, a gap filler tool, a pair of gloves, a pair of safety goggles, and printed instructions. Each component may be combined into a unitary packaging assembly. The injectable rubber caulk, the malleable rubber paste, the viscous liquid rubber composition, the rubberized adhesive tape, and the sprayable aerosol-based rubberized liquid may be safely removed after application and use, or after a storm or natural event has subsided.

Disclosed herein is a nozzle for a silicon container, in which scrapers are horizontally and perpendicularly provided at the front end of the nozzle, thereby preventing silicon from unintentionally spreading during the application of silicon. The nozzle for a silicon container includes: a nozzle body configured to provide a discharge path for silicon discharged from a nozzle container; and a horizontal scraper disposed on the nozzle body, and configured to prevent silicon, discharged from the nozzle body, from unintentionally spreading; wherein the horizontal scraper is horizontally disposed along a longitudinal direction of the nozzle body, and is formed to protrude to left, right, and front sides of the nozzle body. The present invention has advantages in that the waste of silicon is prevented and also work efficiency is improved.

A dispensing device is provided for storing and dispensing a flowable, viscous material. A cartridge is provided for storing the material and includes a tube, a movable cup member located within the tube, an end wall having a nozzle opening covered with a removable seal and a nozzle. The nozzle is removably held within the cup member during storage. The dispensing device is formed by inserting the cartridge within the actuator. The actuator comprises a barrel, a trigger, a handle, a plunger and a resilient detent. The movement of the trigger causes the plunger to push the moveable member forward. The detent holds the plunger in place maintaining the flow of material.

A set for dispensing and processing a light-curing material contained in a reservoir of an applicator includes a light source for curing the material dispensed from an outlet opening of the reservoir by the effect of pressure on the reservoir. The set further includes a modeling device having at least one of a smoothing surface and a working edge for processing the dispensed light-curing material. The light source can be fastened detachably or undetachably to the applicator or to the modeling device.

A caulk wiping attachment for a caulk gun includes a tube having at least one open end for providing a circular wiping edge. The tube can be attached directly to a barrel of the caulk gun or to a disposable caulk cartridge installed into the barrel of the caulk gun. The tube can be cylindrical with an annular cross section. The tube can be attached to the caulk cartridge using a sleeve slipped over the caulk cartridge, the tube being attached to an outside of the sleeve. A disposable liner or cup can be held within the tube.

Systems for removing gas from a sealant and transferring gas-less sealant to an applicator are provided. The system may comprise: a rotatable chamber including: a first opening for receiving sealant; a hollow conduit arranged such that when gas accumulates in the center of the rotatable chamber when the rotatable chamber is rotating, the gas is ventable from the rotatable chamber; a second opening for receiving gas-less sealant from the rotatable chamber after the gas is vented from the hollow conduit; and a motor operatively configured to rotate the rotatable chamber; and a gas-less sealant applicator in fluid communication with the second opening of the rotatable chamber such that gas-less sealant released by the second opening is flowable into the applicator. The system may also include a robot arm including an end effector with a sealant dispensing nozzle. A method for applying sealant to an aircraft structure is also provided.

A system for dispensing a curable composition includes a dual barrel syringe including a first syringe barrel with a first plunger, and a second syringe barrel with a second plunger. A static mixer is connected with distal ends of the first and second syringe barrels. The first and second plungers are moveable toward the distal ends of the first and second syringe barrels for expelling first and second components of a curable composition from the distal ends of the barrels into the static mixer for mixing the components to form the curable composition. A flexible spreader connected with a distal end of the static mixer has a flat dispensing opening, and a plurality of channels extending to the flat dispensing opening to dispense the curable composition. A hot gas blower generates a hot gas stream flowing distally over the distal end of the flexible spreader for curing the curable composition.

A lowering mechanism for a hand held jacking tool comprises a caulking gun jacking mechanism. The lowering mechanism comprises a lowering plate on top of the holding plate, a pushing lever connected with a hinge attachment to the lowering plate at a rear end, wherein the pushing lever is pivoting around a pivot structure connected to the lever or holding plate a distance backward from the hinge attachment, causing the lowering plate to grip the jacking shaft when the lever is pushed downwards and then, in turn, pushing the holding plate downwards and loosening it from the jacking shaft and moving it down along the jacking shaft a distance determined by the pivoting action of the lever. The lowering plate is held in place by a spring biasing the lowering plate towards the holding plate.

A construction of a smoothening pad for an applicator where, in order to make the smoothening pad more resistant to wear, a more rigid silicone is used for forming it and a bolster made of a softer polymer is provided in the front portion of the smoothening pad so as to make the front portion and the face of the smoothening pad more elastic, wherein the bolster is covered with a layer of a polymer that is more rigid than the material used for forming the body, or alternatively, a gap or chambers are formed in the front portion that in turn may be divided into sub-chambers by partitions. This way, the smoothening pad is provided with a face, that has the required degree of elasticity but is more resistant to wear.

A reversible corner shield apparatus and methods of use, v-shaped or angled shaped shield having a first linear shield member or wing and a second linear shield member or wing which are connected or joined at an apex therebetween, a mount or connector positioned proximate the apex between the first linear shield member or wing and a second linear shield member or wing, a hinged connector attached to the mount on a first end of the hinged connector and an elongated handle connected to a second end of the hinged connector to enable rotation between the handle and the shield and, thus, functions to assist a solo painter in rotating and positioning the shield around inner and outer corners of flooring, baseboard, door and window trim or ceiling to shield these non-painted surfaces from over-paint, over spray, uneven transition lines, unsightly paint dabs and the like.
