METHOD TO COLLECT USE DATA IN CUSTOMIZED SKIN CARE
Methods to collect use data of a user during customized skin care by using a specimen dispensing device are presented. Methods to utilize the embedded memory and electrical interface of the dispensing device and dispensers to collect use data of said user are also presented. The invention may also be applied to health care and personal care needs.
Device, apparatus and method for simulation of the presence of a penis
A prosthetic penis provides the wearer with somatosensory feedback on another part of the wearer in response to external influences or stimuli on the prosthetic penis. Sensors on the prosthetic penis are mapped to output elements on an output device that is in contact with the wearer's body. The output device may be applied to the wearer's skin or inserted anally or vaginally. Feedback of touch, pressure, and/or temperature on the prosthesis is such that the wearer's perception mimics that of touch, pressure, and/or temperature stimuli on an actual, biological penis.
“Teach and repeat” method and apparatus for physiotherapeutic applications
The present invention provides a device which can generate commands for controlling a physical therapy apparatus adapted to accept external commands. The device has a base, a motion manipulation portion and a moveable portion of substantially the same shape and dimensions as the portion of the physical therapy apparatus which interacts with at least one part of the body of a patient. The device also includes conversion means for converting stored time-dependent output signals to a series of command signals and means for transmitting the command signals to the physical therapy apparatus. The command signals are produced by the movements of the moveable portion, and, when transmitted to the physical therapy apparatus, can induce the physical therapy apparatus to undergo a series of motions substantially identical to those of the moveable portion.
WALL MOUNTED BACK TREATMENT APPARATUS
A back treatment assembly for providing a surface for treating a user's back, such as by facilitating scrubbing, scratching, massaging, or heat treating the back. includes a frame comprising a rear wall, a first lateral wall, and a second lateral wall. The rear wall is coupled to and extends between the first and second lateral walls, and each of the first and second lateral walls extends forwardly from the rear wall. A back engagement member is mounted to the frame and extends between the first and second lateral walls. The back engagement member is configured to abut a back of a user.
REHABILITATION SYSTEM AND METHOD
The present invention relates to a rehabilitation system (10) for a patient (24) suffering from a damaged muscle and/or nerve, said system (10) comprising: a brain activity sensor (14) for measuring a patient's brain activity related to controlling the damaged muscle and/or nerve; a muscle sensor (18) for measuring a muscular activity of the damaged muscle and/or a neural activity of the damaged nerve; a display (22) for displaying a representation (34) of an affected body part of the patient (24); and a control unit (20) for determining an intended movement of the affected body part in which the damaged muscle and/or nerve is arranged, and for controlling the display (22) to display a representation (36) of the intended movement, wherein the control unit (20) is configured to determine the intended movement based on the patient's brain activity measured by the brain activity sensor (14) and based on the muscular and/or neural activity of the damaged muscle and/or nerve measured by the muscle sensor (18).
SKIN CLEANSER
A skin cleanser includes a surface, such as a silicone surface, with at least one textured portion for transmitting vibrational tapping to the skin. The skin cleanser includes at least one oscillating motor for generating the tapping motion to the skin. The textured portion includes touch-points or a wave that transmit the tapping motion to skin in contact with the textured portions. The touch-points may include thicker and thinner formations of the touch-points to provide firmer or softer vibrations to the skin. The touch-points are within about 0.5 to 2.5 mm in diameter. One configuration includes multiple oscillating motors configured to provide different vibration frequencies at around 50-300 Hertz and operable simultaneously.
Mutual Stimulation Device
A mutual sexual stimulation device includes a body including two offset channels originating as two separate orifices, each channel sized to accept male genitalia, wherein the channels are aligned such that, when male genitalia is located within each channel, at least a portion of each of the male genitalia is in contact with the other.

Systems and related methods for controlling an ear stimulation device with a personal computing device, in response to determination of electrical contact of an electrode in a stimulator earpiece with an ear of a user of the personal computing device, are described. If the electrode is not in good electrical contact with the ear of the user, delivery of the stimulus is prevented and the user is notified of the status of the electrode. In various aspects, the user is instructed to reposition the earpiece or replace, clean, moisten, or apply gel to at least a portion of the electrode.
ACOUSTIC THERAPY DEVICE
The present disclosure provides a system for treatment of thrombosis. The system includes a garment configured to secure to a portion of a body of the user and a plurality of energy units, coupled to the garment, that provide energy inside the body of the user to prevent or break-up at least one of thrombin or a clot formation and increase vascular flow.
ACOUSTIC THERAPY DEVICE
The present disclosure provides a system for delivery of therapeutic energy. The system includes an energy unit configured to convert the acoustic energy signals transmitted to therapeutic ultrasound directed to fragment tumors and carcinogenic tissue in the body. The system also includes an energy unit configured to convert the acoustic energy signal transmitted from the energy unit to ultrasonic energy to image and monitor the treatment site with ultrasound. The system also includes a control unit including a computer for data storage and display.
