SYSTEM FOR MOUNTING INELASTIC COMPONENTS TO A FLEXIBLE MATERIAL TO APPLY COMPRESSIVE AND THERMAL THERAPY
A device for applying compressive therapy is disclosed. According to one embodiment, the device has a top layer and a bottom layer adapted to contact a body surface of a user. The device further includes a compressive element disposed between the top layer and the bottom layer, where the compressive element is configured such that, upon activation of the compressive element: (i) a compressive force is applied to the body surface and (ii) the compressive element curves to more closely conform to the bottom layer.
Systems And Methods For Multi Modal Personalized Topical Pain Relief
Taking an individualistic approach to the treatment of chronic pain may soon be the norm of modern-day medicine. The potential to control the type of medication, in addition to external stimulus including, but not limited to electrical, thermal, cold, or ultrasonic, presents itself in a new “toolbox.” The present invention relates to the management of chronic pain through non-opioid, multi modal compounded transdermal applications, whose properties are enhanced externally, by electrical, thermal, or mechanical energy. More specifically, the present invention encapsulates the customization of personal health, in analyzing, applying and contributing to the betterment of patient's well-being, adapting to patient's preference, biological requirements and regulating to various environments based on the individual's specific body part.
THERAPEUTIC DEVICE Applying COMPRESSION AND HEAT TREATMENT
A device applies therapeutic treatment to a subject. The therapeutic treatment includes any two modalities applied simultaneously, the modalities selected from compression, heat, vibration, and massage. The device includes a main body; hinges coupled to the main body on each side of the main body; and respective plates connected to the hinges, wherein the respective plates contact opposing surfaces of a body.
Therapeutic technology fusion
A system having a controller includes one or more thermal generation element assemblies, or a plurality of air bladder assemblies, or a plurality of electromagnetic coil assemblies, or a combination thereof, that are in communication with the controller and are configured for activation by the controller. The one or more thermal generation element assemblies, or the plurality of air bladder assemblies, or the plurality of electromagnetic coil assemblies, or a combination thereof are configured to provide a holistic mitigating effect on a vehicle occupant confined within the interior space of a vehicle for long periods of time.
Adjustable bed foundations and related methods
An adjustable bed foundation includes an adjustable frame and at least one height adjuster configured to raise and lower a portion of the adjustable frame. The adjustable frame defines a support surface, a bottom surface opposite the support surface, and a plurality of lateral side surfaces intersecting each of the support surface and the bottom surface. A fabric at least partially covers the plurality of lateral side surfaces and is secured to a material covering the support surface. A massage device is disposed within the adjustable frame and configured to impart vibration to a mattress disposed on the adjustable frame. The massage device is secured to the adjustable frame by a flexible fastener, and a gap between the flexible fastener and the support surface is between about 2 mm and about 10 mm. Related methods are also disclosed.
CONFIGURABLE THERAPEUTIC ROLLER KIT AND APPARATUS, AND METHODS OF USING SAME
A massage roller apparatus includes a roller ball and a main roller body, which includes upper, lower and middle encasement members. The roller ball is hollow and contains a thermally stable material. The lower encasement member has a first concave opening therein, and an upper edge portion with a first attachment structure. The ring-shaped middle encasement member has a lower portion with a second attachment structure, and an upper portion with a third attachment structure. A hollow opening of the middle encasement member has a first diameter at its upper portion, and has a second diameter, less than the first diameter, at its lower portion. The upper encasement member includes a cup-shaped portion with a second concave opening therein, and also includes a handle at its upper end. A lower portion of the upper encasement member has a fourth attachment structure for selectively connecting to the middle encasement member.
Wireless Pressure Control of a Fluidic Bladder with Head Pressure Compensation
A pressure controller for a fluidic bladder has in sequence a pump, a first fluid line, a supply pressure sensor, a second fluid line, a bladder having an inlet coupled to the second fluid line, a bladder outlet coupled to a third fluid line of substantially equal length to the second fluid line, a return pressure sensor, and a fourth fluid line coupled to the return pressure sensor and returning fluid from the pump to the reservoir. A pressure estimate is formed by establishing the second fluid line length and inner diameter as the same as the third fluid line length and inner diameter, and forming the pressure estimate by averaging the supply pressure and return pressure. The pressure controller receives a setpoint pressure as a command and data over a wireless channel, and computes a head pressure offset by turning the pump off and measuring the supply and return pressures.
LIGHT THERAPY APPARATUSES AND METHODS
Light therapy systems described herein are configured to by worn by or otherwise affixed to the user so that the user is ambulatory while receiving light therapy. In some implementations, one or more physiological sensors are used such that delivery of the light therapy is effected by physiological parameters of the user detected by the physiological sensors. Moreover, in some implementations the apparatuses described herein also deliver compression therapy in addition to the light therapy.
Care instrument
A care instrument arranges one or more driving components, each corresponding to a storage container stored with a care product which can be used for caring or adding aroma for the user. Each driving component takes out the care product from the corresponding storage container and transports it to the surface of the housing through one or more outlets. A control component controls the driving components to deliver the care products to the surface of the housing in a timed and quantitative manner for precise delivery of the care products. A massage component is operated in synchronization with the driving components so that the care products are transported to the surface of the housing and uniformly dispersed by the massage component for easier application to the face or the body, thereby effectively improving the user experience.
