Expandable Plunger Head Assemblies for Sealant Dispensing Guns
Sealant dispensing cartridge assemblies including radially expandable collets are disclosed. A plunger head assembly includes a ram head attached to a plunger rod. As the plunger rod is advanced into the sealant cartridge, the ram head presses against a rear side of a movable plunger against an opposing force created by a sealant contained in the cartridge on a front side of the plunger. As the plunger rod is further advanced, the collet contacts the ram head and radially expands against the inner sidewall of the plunger. The resulting radial force presses the sidewall of the plunger against the inner surface of the cartridge to thereby reduce or prevent unwanted leakage of the sealant around the plunger.
DISPENSER
A dispenser includes a housing, a push rod, and a push rod driving mechanism. The push rod is moveable relative to the housing. The housing has at least two housing parts and is configured to receive at least a portion of the push rod driving mechanism to move the push rod relative to the housing. The at least two housing parts are held together by the push rod.
Universal caulking gun, conversion kit, and method converting a standard caulking gun into a universal caulking gun
A universal caulking gun and method of converting a standard caulking gun into a universal caulking gun are disclosed, along with a kit of parts for converting a standard caulking gun into a universal caulking gun. The universal caulking gun that is capable of accommodating both small and large caulking tubes. It includes a combination of small and large plunger members that are configured to be removably attached to the caulking gun rod. The small and large plunger members are sized and configured to nest together and form a single plunger unit corresponding to the internal diameter of a large caulking tube. Alternatively, the small and large plunger members are separable such that the single plunger unit corresponds to the internal diameter of a small caulking tube and the large plunger can be retained in a non-functional position.
ROOF COATING APPLICATOR METHOD OF USE
A disposable roof coating applicator includes a nozzle that is attached to a collar. The nozzle and collar are selectively attachable to a body that has an interior space and is formed by at least one side wall having an exterior wall and an interior wall. The coating applicator also includes a plunger that is movably disposed within the interior space of the body. The coating applicator may include a locking mechanism about the applicator's collar that selectively engages a stud provided on the body's exterior surface, selectively locking and unlocking the nozzle and collar assembly to the body. The disposable roof coating applicator is configured and otherwise designed to take in, store and transport approximately ½ to 2 gallons of viscous material to a roof seam before neatly and uniformly expelling the viscous material to the seam or joint.
Expandable plunger head assemblies for sealant dispensing guns

Pneumatic glue gun
The present invention relates to a pneumatic glue gun including tank components which contain a glue hose and an injector head; pressure generating units which contain a shell, an extruder, a slidable piston and a push/pull rod; and a drive component connected with the extruder. The tank components are fixed on the shell through a open end of the glue hose and faced the interior space of the shell. The drive component increases the atmospheric pressure between the extruder and the piston by driving the movement of the extruder in the shell, and the piston slides in the glue hose through the increased atmospheric pressure. The glue of the present invention does not need to be replaced, and the glue can be replenished at any time, so the work of replacing the tank is eliminated, and no waste of resources is caused.
System for applying finishing compound
A system for finishing surfaces with a finishing material includes a handle assembly with proximal and distal ends. A material reservoir is mounted on the handle distal and includes an inlet and an outlet. A material applicator tool is mounted on the reservoir and receives material from the reservoir outlet. A discharge mechanism includes an extendable-retractable component or linear actuator connected to the reservoir for discharging or reloading material. Multiple embodiments utilizing different linear actuators are disclosed. An alternative embodiment includes a push-to-open valve mechanism. Additional embodiments include an adjustment mechanism on the push-to-open valve mechanism accommodating adjustment of flow of finishing compound when the push-to-open valve is engaged.
Collapsible tubing caulking gun
The collapsible tubing caulking gun comprises a handle, a trigger, a squeegee, a tube grip, and a nozzle support. The collapsible tubing caulking gun may dispense caulk from a collapsible tube. Activation of the trigger may force the collapsible tube rearwards through the squeegee resulting in the caulk being forced out of the collapsible tube via a nozzle. The collapsible tube may be retained between the tube grip which retains a sealed end of the collapsible tube and the nozzle support which retains the nozzle of the collapsible tube.
MIXING AND DISPENSING CONTAINER
A mixing and dispensing container for mixing and dispensing dental materials. The mixing and dispensing container includes: a plunger; an open-ended liquid receptacle adapted to receive the plunger; and a main body with a proximal end, a distal end, a chamber open at the proximal end and an aperture in the distal end. The chamber is adapted to receive the liquid receptacle. The dental capsule mixes various components of the dental materials and forms a dental paste for dispensing. The container is especially envisaged for use in mixing of components to provide a paste for dental use.
Device and method for storing and mixing bone cement
One aspect relates to a device for mixing a polymethyl methacrylate bone cement formed of two starting components and for storing the starting components of the bone cement. The device has a tubular cartridge with a cylindrical interior. A powder is contained in a front of the cartridge and a container containing a monomer liquid is arranged in a rear of the cartridge. A discharge piston is arranged between the container and the powder, and a conveying piston is on the side of the container opposite the discharge piston. The discharge piston and the conveying piston are arranged in the interior of the cartridge movably in the longitudinal direction. A conduit is provided that connects the front part and the rear part of the interior of the cartridge to one another in a manner permeable for the monomer liquid and for gases and which is impermeable for the powder.
