Cartridge, dispensing assembly and method of manufacturing a cartridge
A cartridge for a medium to be dispensed includes a rigid head part having a dispensing outlet and a flexible film forming a cartridge wall. The film bounds a cartridge chamber for the medium to be dispensed and extends at least partially in a longitudinal direction of the cartridge. The head part includes a collar surrounding the dispensing outlet in a radially outer region of the head part, wherein the collar extends in the longitudinal direction and has an inner circumferential surface. A front end of the film is sealingly and non-releasably connected to the inner circumferential surface of the collar. The film is attached to the inner circumferential surface of the head part at a contact surface that is different from the outer surface of the film.
Storage Container for Tube Viscous Construction Material
A storage container for a cylindrical tube of viscous construction material includes a body dimensioned to receive a cylindrical tube of viscous construction material. A nozzle enclosure is attached to a top end of the body and is dimensioned to receive a nozzle of a cylindrical tube of viscous construction material. A plug is positioned in the nozzle enclosure and dimensioned to fit into an inner diameter of the nozzle of the cylindrical tube of viscous construction material. A gasket is positioned between the body and the nozzle that substantially prevents air in the body from entering into the nozzle enclosure. A base seals the cylindrical tube of viscous construction material in the body.
Container and dispenser for flowable material and method
Varied embodiments of a container/dispenser having a multi-chamber bellows member having a plurality of collapsible bellows chambers allowing more than one substance to be contained within the container and simultaneously dispensed when a sufficient axial force is exerted on a platform to compress the bellows member forcing flowable materials from each chamber. In an alternative embodiment, the present invention discloses a retrofit multi-chambered bellows container, which may be adapted to a standard caulking tube container.
System and method for application of a surface compound
A compound delivery applicator comprising a substantially conical portion comprising a first end configured to couple to a compound receptacle and an applicator blade coupled to the substantially conical portion. The applicator blade comprises a first portion extending outwardly along a longitudinal axis of and from a second end of the substantially conical portion, the first portion comprising a first side edge and a second side edge each forming an acute angle relative to the longitudinal axis of the substantially conical portion and a scraper coupled to the first portion distal the substantially conical portion. The compound delivery applicator further comprises a compound delivery channel extending internally through at least a portion of the substantially conical portion, the compound delivery channel further extending through the scraper of the applicator blade and configured to pass a compound therethrough.
COMPONENT DELIVERY SYSTEM UTILIZING FILM BAGS
A compressible cartridge includes a first flexible bag, a second flexible bag, and a rigid face plate. The first and second flexible bags include a multilayer film having at least three layers formed from different materials. The first and second flexible bags have a front end and a sealed back end opposite the front end. The first flexible bag defines a first volume to receive a first flowable material. The second flexible bag defines a second volume to receive a second flowable material that is different from the first flowable material. The rigid face plate has a first collar, a second collar, and a nosepiece. The first collar is bonded to the front end of the first flexible bag, and the second collar is bonded to the front end of the second flexible bag. The nosepiece defines 1) a first opening that is in fluid communication with the first volume of the first flexible bag, 2) a second opening that is in fluid communication with the second volume of the second flexible bag, and 3) a discharge opening.
COMMON HEAD HAVING AN OFFSET PARTITION FOR USE WITH MULTI-COMPONENT DISPENSING TOOLS AND A TUBULAR LINER ARRANGED FOR LOCATING WITHIN THE COMMON HEAD
A common head for use in combination with a cartridge assembly, the cartridge assembly being retained within the material containment unit of a dispensing device and arranged to discharge reactive components from larger and smaller cartridges in response to actuation of the dispensing device. The common head includes inlet openings and a rigid walled tube having a partition positioned therein to define larger and smaller pathways to enable passage of the reactive components from the cartridges into and though the common head in a predetermined volumetric ratio and prevent backflow of the components which can lead to unintended curing prior to dispensing. A flexible liner arranged for positioning within one or both pathways of the rigid walled tube is also provided to prevent such backflow and unintended curing prior to dispensing.

Providing a viscous material feed apparatus and a viscous material feed method capable of further reducing a viscous material remaining in a container, e.g., a bag, housing the viscous material. A viscous material feed apparatus according to the present invention includes: a container (10) configured to include a bag body (11) with a housing space configured to house a viscous material and a spout (20) with a passage configured to deliver the viscous material in the housing space to outside; a squeeze portion (30) configured to squeeze the bag body toward the spout and move the viscous material in the housing space toward the spout; and a nozzle (40) having a hollow shape, the nozzle being configured to be freely inserted into the passage of the spout and withdrawn from the spout, the nozzle being configured to deliver the viscous material collected at the spout to outside.

A storage container for a cylindrical tube of viscous construction material includes a body dimensioned to receive a cylindrical tube of viscous construction material. A nozzle enclosure is attached to a top end of the body and is dimensioned to receive a nozzle of a cylindrical tube of viscous construction material. A plug is positioned in the nozzle enclosure and dimensioned to fit into an inner diameter of the nozzle of the cylindrical tube of viscous construction material. PISTON FOR A COLLAPSIBLE CARTRIDGE
A piston for a collapsible cartridge for dispensing a material, the piston includes a rigid portion and a flexible portion. The rigid portion has a first diameter, a first end and a second end. The first end is configured to be disposed in a material dispensing direction. The flexible portion has a second diameter less than the first diameter, a first end disposed in the material dispensing direction and a second end disposed in an opposite direction. The flexible portion is disposed on the first end of the rigid portion such that the second end of the flexible portion is disposed to face the first end of the rigid portion. The flexible portion is configured to radially expand and longitudinally compress upon a force applied to the first end of the flexible portion to compress the collapsible cartridge between the flexible portion and an interior surface of a support cartridge.
