FLUID PRODUCT DISPENSING DEVICE
A fluid dispenser device having a body (1) with a dispenser orifice (2) and a perforator element (4), the body containing a reservoir (10) with at least two doses of fluid and having a proximal axial opening closed by a membrane (30) and a distal axial opening closed by a piston (20) to dispense one dose of fluid on each actuation. The reservoir is axially movable relative to the body between a rest position in which said perforator element does not pass through the membrane and a dispensing position in which the perforator element passes through the membrane. A perforator spring (6) is provided to urge the reservoir towards the rest position, and the membrane is adapted to close after each actuation, when said perforator element withdraws from the reservoir.
Material dispensing system and method
The present invention is a material dispensing system for controllably dispensing material from a packaging such as a chub pack. The system can include a housing capable of receiving the packaging, a cover pivotably connected to the housing, at least one nozzle tip, and at least one piercing projection capable of piercing the packaging. A packaging compression assembly can be used to compress the packaging toward the piercing projection so that the piercing projection pierces the packaging and allows the material in the packaging to be dispensed from the nozzle tip. A locking slide can be included to secure the cover in a closed position.
DISCHARGER AND METHOD OF DISCHARGING
A discharger includes a dispensing element and a housing. The housing has a static piston connected to the dispensing element at least in a fluid conducting manner. The static piston has a piercing tip and is arranged within the housing.
MEDICAL ADHESIVE APPLICATOR
Medical adhesive applicators are disclosed which allow medical adhesives to have long storage life and be easily dispensed in a controlled manner. In one embodiment, the applicator has a frangible glass vial with the medical adhesive. The frangible glass vial is held in a plastic enclosure with a dispensing tip. Attached to the plastic enclosure is a squeeze tube capable of imparting air pressure into the enclosure. To dispense medical adhesive quickly and with precision, one simply breaks the frangible glass vial and pushes on the squeeze tube. In another embodiment, the applicator has a proximal chamber containing medical adhesive, a distal chamber for dispensing medical adhesive and one or more rupturable membranes between them. To achieve long shelf life, the applicator chambers and membrane(s) are formed from fluorinated plastic. To dispense medical adhesive, one ruptures the membrane(s) and pushes on the sides of the proximal chamber.
RETRACTABLE CAP FOR A NOZZLE OF A CAULKING TUBE RETAINED IN A CAULKING GUN
An apparatus for capping the tip of the nozzle of a caulking tube retained in a caulking gun to prevent the caulking tube from leaking caulking material such as latex or silicone during non-use. The apparatus has a cap portion, a housing portion, and a retractable flexible cord to provide a retractable cap to be used with the caulking tube placed in a caulking gun to prevent leakage when the caulking gun and caulking tube are not in use. The housing contains a retraction member which is placed under force when the cap is pulled away from the retraction member and placed over the tip of the caulking tube nozzle. When the cap is removed from the caulking tube nozzle, the tension from the retraction member causes the flexible cord to pull the cap to a location adjacent the housing so that the cap can be easily retrieved and not lost.
Applicator for ejecting doses of a flowable component
An applicator for ejecting doses of a flowable component includes a housing, an application tip connected to the housing, an actuation mechanism, and an insert which is detachable from the housing. The insert is adapted to be inserted into the housing, and has a storage volume for the flowable component. The housing includes a receiving portion adapted to the insert. The insert includes a drive portion which is adapted to cooperate with the actuation mechanism so that the operation of the actuation mechanism results in a displacement of the insert relative to the housing and on a displacement axis.
DISPENSING APPLICATOR FOR FLUIDS
A dispensing applicator includes a container configured to contain a fluid, the container including an inlet end having an opening and an outlet end, the container containing a predetermined volume of fluid; an attachment member received within and secured to the container, the attachment member including a length portion including a frangible section, the frangible section including a tongue element; an end face member secured within the opening of the inlet end, the end face member defining an opening; a sealing member that fluidically seals the opening of the end face member; and a fracture anvil having an interior interference geometry configured to slidaby receive the tongue element during an assembly and wherein a rotational movement of the fracture anvil relative to the tongue element causing the interior geometry to interfere with said tongue element such that fluid is released from the container while said tongue element remains attached to the frangible section.
LIQUID DISPENSER
A liquid dispenser for discharging liquids, in particular in rod shape. The liquid dispenser has a liquid store for receiving liquid prior to discharge, and a discharge opening for discharging the liquid. The liquid dispenser has a pumping device having an actuating surface for manual actuation, by which liquid is conveyed from the liquid store to the discharge opening. The liquid store is provided within an exchangeable container unit, couplable to a main unit including the pumping device (62) and the discharge opening, and is uncouplable therefrom. For the exchangeable coupling of the container unit to the main unit is provided a coupling device, by which the container unit, by pressing against the main unit, is alternately couplable thereto and releasable therefrom. The coupling device possesses two coupling members, wherein one coupling member is provided on the container unit and one coupling member on the main unit.
WRITING INSTRUMENT HAVING AN ELONGATED TIP WITH A CURVATURE SYSTEM
A writing instrument system including an elongated tip having a firm, felt or plastic nib and a piercing tip. The elongated tip includes a curvature that resembles a shape of a dolphin and the nib is positioned at a first-end of the elongated tip for distributing ink to a surface in a controlled manner. The elongated tip is in fluid communication with the nib. The elongated tip also includes the piercing tip which is able to penetrate an ink cartridge or tube of a pen and be removably affixed to a pen. The piercing tip is in fluid communication with the elongated tip and allows ink to flow from a penetrated ink cartridge or tube through the elongated tip to the nib where it can be applied to a surface.
