DEVICE FOR DISPENSING A MATERIAL
A device for dispensing a material has a container for holding the material, a piston movably arranged within the container and a spindle in cooperation with the piston. The device is configured such that the spindle and the container are rotatable relative to each other to move the piston for dispensing the material. The piston and the spindle are adapted to anti-twist lock against each other in a first axial position of the piston relative to spindle. And in a second axial position of the piston relative to spindle the anti-twist lock between the piston and the spindle is suspended. The device helps minimizing any residual dental material upon attempting to empty the device.
Mixing device, in particular for bone cement
A mixing device for bone cement comprising a plunger for extruding the mixed material, which plunger is also used as a cover. The plunger has spring blades adapted to be latched on a collar of the housing.
System and Method for Application of a Surface Compound
A compound delivery applicator comprising a substantially conical portion comprising a first end configured to couple to a compound receptacle and an applicator blade coupled to the substantially conical portion. The applicator blade comprises a first portion extending outwardly along a longitudinal axis of and from a second end of the substantially conical portion, the first portion comprising a first side edge and a second side edge each forming an acute angle relative to the longitudinal axis of the substantially conical portion and a scraper coupled to the first portion distal the substantially conical portion. The compound delivery applicator further comprises a compound delivery channel extending internally through at least a portion of the substantially conical portion, the compound delivery channel further extending through the scraper of the applicator blade and configured to pass a compound therethrough.
APPLICATOR THAT ALLOWS EASY MOUNTING AND REMOVAL OF CARTRIDGE
A cartridge fitting portion of a cylindrical syringe made of a resin includes an end surface opening portion, a continuous opening portion continuous with the end surface opening portion, opened in a radial direction, and extending in an extending direction, and a recess portion configured to communicate with the end surface opening portion, the continuous opening portion, and an internal passage in a cylindrical body. The recess portion includes a flange fitting recess to be fitted with a flange portion of a cartridge, and a cylindrical portion fitting recess that communicates with the flange fitting recess and is fitted with a part of the cylindrical portion. A wall portion surrounding the cylindrical portion fitting recess of the cartridge fitting portion is configured to warp into snap engagement with the part of the cylindrical portion when the part of the cylindrical portion is inserted from the continuous opening portion.
APPLICATOR WITH PLUNGER HAVING MOVABLE RANGE RESTRICTED BY RESISTANCE STRUCTURE
An applicator that is less expensive than those according to the related art and in which a plunger does not easily slip out of a cylindrical syringe. A cylindrical syringe and a plunger are each molded from a resin material. A resistance structure is provided between the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical syringe and the outer peripheral surface of a pressing portion of the plunger. The resistance structure is configured to act as resistance to movement of the pressing portion when the pressing portion is moved toward a cartridge fitting portion beyond a predetermined position and to movement of the pressing portion when the pressing portion is moved from the side of the cartridge fitting portion toward an end of the cylindrical syringe opposite to the cartridge fitting portion beyond the predetermined position.
FLUID PRODUCT DISPENSER
A dispenser having a reservoir module (R) havingn a case (RT) for accommodating a fluid product cartridge (C) defining a movable wall (C2) biased by a spring (R4) resting on a bearing (R31); and a dispensing module having an outlet valve for controlling the passage of the fluid product released under pressure from the fluid product cartridge (C). The reservoir module (R) is removably connected to the dispensing module. The bearing (R31) of the spring (R4) is movable relative to the casing (R1) between an active position in which the spring (R4) is compressed and a rest position in which the spring (R4) is relaxed, thereby allowing the reservoir module (R) to be connected to the dispensing module with the bearing (R31) in the rest position and the bearing (R31) subsequently in the active position.
DISPENSER ASSEMBLY WITH SYRINGE AND CAPSULE
A dispenser assembly including a syringe portion and a capsule portion interfacing with the syringe portion. The syringe portion includes a syringe containing a first material, the syringe includes a proximal open end and a distal open end defining a lumen, and a plunger disposed within the lumen at the proximal open end, the plunger configured to slidably move within the lumen and push the first material towards the distal open end. The capsule portion includes a capsule containing a second material, a capsule stopper disposed within the capsule, and an extruder configured to engage with the capsule and extrude the second material out of the capsule, wherein a rotation force of the extruder causes the capsule stopper to slidably move and pushes the second material towards the syringe portion for mixing the first material and second material together within the syringe.
COMPOUND APPLICATOR
A compound applicator includes a nozzle assembly including a nozzle opening and a plug movable relative to the nozzle opening between a first position in which the nozzle assembly is in a closed state, and a second position in which the nozzle assembly is in an open state, a spring configured to bias the plug into the first position, a cylinder configured to receive and store a compound material, a main housing, a handle rotatable relative to the main housing, a pull rod having a first end coupled with the plug, and an input mechanism located at least partially within the handle and/or the main housing and configured to convert rotational motion of the handle into axial movement of the pull rod, thereby moving the plug from the first position toward the second position. The spring pulls the pull rod such that the pull rod is biased into tension.
APPLICATOR
An applicator for and method of applying a material, and a piston assembly for the applicator. A piston assembly of the applicator is movably engaged within a housing to form a reservoir that is expandable and contractable to, respectively, draw into and push out from the reservoir the material via an opening during, respectively, suction and pressure phases of the applicator. The piston assembly includes an outer seal to prevent ingress of fluid towards the reservoir from an outer side of the piston assembly during the suction phase and an inner seal disposed between the outer seal and the reservoir to prevent egress of material out of the reservoir into a cavity formed between the housing and the inner and outer seals, during the pressure phase. The outer seal moves freely as the applicator is moved to the pressure phase to open the cavity for pressure equalization to prevent suction.
